So far so good. I don't have any thing dislike ImageKit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used ImageKit for over 4 years now for delivering media content for my personal website and during that time I have never had an issue.
The dashboard makes things really easy for quick setup as well as offering reporting to view the assets that might be utilising too much bandwidth.
I really like the ability of being able to serve and transform locally stored media to a CDN - something I have not seen before from other providers.
I am now using ImageKit for client web builds as it offers a lot of functionality at a competitive pricing point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What's not to like and ImageKIt?
They are probably the only providers in their sector that offers really generous plans...even on the free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a content-heavy platform, we initially used ImageKit for image optimization—it worked well, but in a fairly saturated market, there wasn’t anything groundbreaking. However, there were no issues either, which in itself speaks volumes.
Earlier this year, we made a major shift toward video content, and having ImageKit seamlessly handle all media optimizations became a game changer. It significantly enhances our content delivery, making our video buffering speeds comparable to YouTube’s.
One of the standout aspects is their support. Having a dedicated point of contact who proactively reaches out for anomaly detection and optimization recommendations is rare in this space, and it makes a real difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing in particular - everything works as you would expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using ImageKit for my web development projects. It provides a simple UI to navigate around, and a file storage system which is intuitive. I have no problems finding the images I need and that gives me a peace of mind knowing that all images are stored on the cloud and I can access them everywhere. To use my images, all I have to do is copy the URL given and paste it in my code. I can also easily modify/transform the image by changing the URL parameters, a feature that I really appreciate. So far I have not encountered any issue with ImageKit as I may not be an advanced user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Imagekit for a while now and after trying many Image CDN services, I always stick with Imagekit. It's easy to setup and use, the interface is clean. I didn't try their new AI options yet but they look very good. Customer support is reactive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I only have two pain points with the free tier : 5GB DAM storage and video processing units.
Storage was 25GB in the past if I remember well and was reduced to 5GB, which can be limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is incredibly fast and reliable. Image loading speed, no downtime as well as lossless quality are very important factors for our software and all of these are served very well by ImageKit. It also offers a great dashboard with useful UI and powerful features. One last thing is that it offers a generous free plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say there are any major disadvantages. But if I had to mention just one, it's that the cheapest plan starts at $89/monthly. I would like to have a cheaper plan, even with fewer perks and benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Flexibility of choosing the hosting of our image (wasabi instead of s3) or to use their own, the Ruby gem for interacting with the api and the integration in the rails ecosystem, the flexible way to generate URLs and transformations, and nascent support for AI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A dedup facility to find duplicate images easily might be nice. The ability to append the desired image format to a url (e.g. .jpeg, .png) instead of specifying it as a query string parameter would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been extremely satisfied with ImageKit.ioand would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable image processing solution. The platform offers seamless integration with external repositories like S3, which greatly enhances its versatility and ease of use.
One of the standout features of ImageKit.iois the extensive range of image transformations it offers. These transformations are not only plentiful but also intuitive to apply, making it accessible even for those who might not be very tech-savvy.
The performance is impressive; images are processed and delivered quickly, maintaining high quality without compromising on speed. The user interface is clean and user-friendly, allowing for smooth navigation and operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far. Maybe is not the cheaper one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to use and provided exactly what we needed to allow us to have a static next js site, but still keep the image performance we had before. Easily connected with our AWS S3 buckets and was a breeze to create our own custom image loader using ImageKit's urls in next js.
Never had any downtime, so not needed to deal with any customer service or support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
