I tried other platforms to upload and manage images via API but none of them worked. Hours wasted in setup.

One restricting aspect was the unavailability to change the URL endpoint after setting up the account. We need to recreate the account and migrate assets to change the default URL endpoint. But it's okay. The customer support is good and the overall service is great. So it's acceptable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I like with Image Kit is that it provides us with easy ways to handle our images. We don't need to make our own scripts to compress or resize our images. I'm actually using ImageKit as a replacement for my Amazon S3 and Cloudfront for images.

ImageKit also has a built-in Image Editor tool! Which is very helpful for resizing my images internally without any hassle. (Edit it, resize, then re-upload again)

Setting up with S3 across multiple environments was simplicity itself. And being able to access features through changes to the URL is super simple which made integration with our system very straight forward and flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Despite the easy and speed of getting up and running with the service, the initial setup for custom domains was slow and took some chasing.

Some features rely on third party services and are too expensive (background removal), but I understand that cheaper options are on their way and talking to IK support, I was offered a reduced price for my particular project.

Would like more information on the consumption of bandwidth.

I didi not could use DigitalOcean space in ImageKit, we had to modify a little our code to implemente imagekit as core, but was a good deal at the end Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I no longer have to deal with managing image resizing to comply with web specifications in the world of multi-resolution devices. Just make a call specifying the size in the image name.
