We have integrated imagekit to our s3 storage. The setup is simple and just works. The userinterface is intuitve. As a developer who uses many pieces of software for our applications its awesome to have a piece of software that requires so little setup.

ImageKit help us by optimising all images for our customers. We don't care of what customer upload, ImageKit will optimize it for us ! We use ImageKit every day on our customer website and it's really fast. There is a big difference between the before and the after we use ImageKit. We've been using ImageKit for over 3 years to handle all the image optimization tasks for our mobile app and web products. It's dead simple to integrate with the images we have stored in S3 buckets. Our users can upload assets in a variety of formats and we use ImageKit to seamlessly deliver a unified file format to our client side apps. We display our images in a variety of resolutions and ImageKit handles downsizing and cropping with ease.

We recently began integrating videos into our platform and ImageKit has worked well on this front as well.

We currently do not have a need for some of ImageKit's more advanced image transformations (e.g. AI upscaling and generative fill), but I like that these offerings are available to us should we ever need them in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, the only downside to ImageKit that we've experienced is related to cost. Due to some sudden user growth, we experiences higher than expected bills. Streamlined image processing, version creation, and asset management. I upload the largest image and resolution required then create all the smaller variations (within ImageKit) that I need. ImageKit offers all the editing needs I require. To add to my web properties I typically grab (cntrl V) a link to the version I need from that version's detail page, confirm the link in a browser, and paste it into my code. I process only a few images at a time and not more than once a month. It would be nice to be able to define default import settings so uploading wouldn't require confirming my settings each time. Sometimes I forget between batches. Also, clearing the CDN cashe for an image is tricky. I've never gotten the hang of it; maybe some additional documentation on the 'purge cashe' page would be helpful.
