No limit on the number of times an image can be converted is very significant. **What do you dislike about ImageKit?** Fewer conversion options compared to Cloudinary and others, making it difficult to achieve complex conversions. **What problems is ImageKit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, I used to deliver assets directly from S3 compatible storage, but this was not suitable for my application where I needed to deliver a large number of small assets such as thumbnail images because the communication speed was slow and the number of requests was the basis for the fee. It's easier to handle than uploading, especially with dynamic content. The image compression of ImageKit is slightly better than with the competitor service by using the same compression factor. The page loading speed improved by 100 ms vs. Sirv, tested from the same location. GTmeterix gives a 100/100 score. **What do you dislike about ImageKit?** The ImageKit dashboard is in comparison very basic. I miss the possibility of resetting the given 404 errors for debugging purposes. The delivery of static assets (*.woff2, *.js, and *.css) is by my observation without compression. Rewriting of the ImageKit-path in the css-file(s) has to be done manually. The WordPress plugin rewrites the HTML content before the minified assets are added by the related plugin (WP-optimize). Other companies don't have this problem. I had to add a 'shutdown' action to make things running. There is potential for plugin improvement. **What problems is ImageKit solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefit is in the delivery of optimized and scaled images for the different viewports. It helped make our web pages load faster on different devices and simplified our image workflow. It also helped us reduce CDN cost by a good margin! Wordpress integration is really easy, its a plug and play Wordpress plugin. Overall I felt setup is very easy, it took me maximum of 10minutes to serve compressed images on my website that too from a CDN. **What do you dislike about ImageKit?** No video support, better design for the dashboard, better analytics etc **Recommendations to others considering ImageKit:** Smart Crop is a fantastic feature that intelligently focuses on the best parts of every cropped image. If you have an image that contains important pixels close to the edges, you will lose these with normal cropping, but not with Smart Crop **What problems is ImageKit solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped make our web pages load faster on different devices and simplified our image workflow. ### 7.
