SHIP is your autonomous software engineering team that runs a team of AI coding agents on your software issues. You assign a Jira, Linear or GitHub issue to SHIP, and its agents plan, build, review and test the change in your own GitHub repository. Each mission ends in a pull request that has passed your CI, an automated code review and a test of its acceptance criteria. How SHIP works SHIP runs the agentic software development lifecycle (agentic SDLC) as a headless AI software factory. Four agent roles each do one stage of the work. The Planner reads the issue, docs and the codebase, and writes a plan with acceptance criteria. The Builder writes the code and its tests. The Reviewer reviews the change against the plan and project conventions. The Tester checks the acceptance criteria on an isolated preview deploy of the change. Your CI and the preview deploy are gates between the roles, and work that fails a gate goes back to the Builder with the reason. The agents follow the agentic engineering practices in your repository, such as its agent instructions, skills, MCPs and each agent runs in an isolated sandbox. Choose your coding agent and model Each role runs the AI coding agent and the model that you choose: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kilo Code or the pi coding agent. The Reviewer can use a different model provider from the Builder, so a second model checks the first one's work. SHIP is bring-your-own-key: agents run on your own model provider key or coding subscription, and your provider bills AI inference to you directly at your own rates. See cost and proof for every pull request SHIP reports the cost, duration and session logs of each mission. It records each stage's cost at the list price of the model that served it. Every pull request comes with proof of the work, such as test traces and screenshots, so a reviewer can see what was tested before reading the code. Work from the tools you already use Keep your repository, your CI and your git workflow. Your delivery pipeline deploys previews with its own secrets, so SHIP never holds your cloud credentials. Operate SHIP from the web console, a REST API, the ship CLI, a hosted MCP server for AI assistants, or the A2A protocol for other agents. Schedule maintenance missions, such as a weekly dependency upgrade. Who uses SHIP SHIP is built for solo founders who need help with their backlog, software engineers who send issues from a terminal or a coding agent, engineering teams that plan in Linear, Jira or GitHub Issues, engineering leaders who need cost and delivery figures per pull request, and open-source maintainers who triage GitHub issues. Pricing SHIP charges credits per mission. One credit covers a mission of up to 3 agent-hours, and only agent working time counts. A mission that ends with no pull request gets its credits back. New accounts get 3 free credits when they connect their first repository.
