  ### 10. It has been a breeze to set up and use and makes getting paid a snap.

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

It seems a bit expensive but it's worth it.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making recurring monthly engagements simple to collect with very little effort from me and I don't have to do anything unless someone has insufficient funds to cover the payment.

  ### 11. Never had to chase any company for any overdue payments. Awesome.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy E. | CEO at Solvere Cloud Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The direct debiting and reconciling is the best feature in our opinion.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Reminding me constantly that I need to update ongoing contracts that we have no intention of updating at that time.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We tailor our work to our clients unlike many accountancy firms. Once set up Ignition has solved the need to re-write the more common services. We have different terms depending on the service and can pick these easily. We automate billing weekly to clients and do the manual billing for those clients that have varied outcomes once a month. The reconciliaiton in Xero is set up for speedy receivables.

  ### 12. Create and send Professional Proposals and get client engagement in one easy platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie A. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

I love the professional proposals and having templates I can re-use easily without having to recreate them everytime. I can just use a pre-done template and modify it as needed for client needs. It is also nice that Ignition collects payment information and client engagement is so easy. Onboarding support was wonderful. Isabelle taught me how to use the product a little at a time and set up multiple onboarding sessions with homework assignments in between so I could get our company set up and learn the platform. It is quite powerful and we integrated it with Karbon CRM, QuickBooks and ProConnect. The proposals trigger work items in Karbon so I can keep track of onboarding tasks easily. This is so helpful as I use Ignition to send proposals out several times a week. The integration with Karbon automates a lot of internal processes. The invoices and payments sync with our company QuickBooks. Ignition also saves us money on merchant fees and make it easier to collect money from customers. Collections will soon be a thing of the past, once we get everyone switched over to Ignition. Yay!

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Instant bill is possible, but limited to one item. If there is more than one product or service, you have to bill them separately or create a client proposal to sign. It is just one extra step, but more transparent for the customer.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was spending time creating multiple proposals per week and sending out contracts manually. We didn't have a streamlined process and we were growing to the point that it was hard to manage. Now I have a professional proposal template I can edit per client needs in just a few minutes. Often times I can do it while I'm on the phone with a client, send it over and they sign off on it while I'm still on the phone. Such a time saver!

  ### 13. My most favorite software!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Love using this application for my proposals, they look so professional with the video and brochure. The automation is next level. Absolutely love Ignition!!

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There is absolutely nothing I dislike about Ignition.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our proposals used to be done very manually - ignition has our full product listing and it takes a couple of seconds to create the most professional proposal.

  ### 14. Gets agreements signed quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siobhan M. | Head of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

It's so easy to onboard someone new to using the platform, our sales team has grown and amidst all the tech this is a crucial element and it's just so easy.
Any changes that need to be made or tweaks, you can go in and the UX is straight forward.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There's nothing I don't like about Ignition, we previously used Docusign so this was a significant level up.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending out agreements, ability to make changes for the clients and processing renewals quickly.

  ### 15. Time Saving & Professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

I love that I am able to quickly and easily send a very professional proposal and engagement letter to potential clients straight after meeting with them. I also love that I can give clients options to choose from so I can upsell my services.
And setting up the automated payments from the very begining means I don't have to waste time chasing payment.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

It is quite costly, but the benefits and time savings are worth it.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a detailed engagement letter which sets out the scope of works clearly is helping to minimise scope creep. I use the options function in my proposals to show additional services (eg. tax planning) as upgrade options so the client is very aware what is/is not included in their engagement and the costs that are associated with those extra services. I am able to direct clients to the engagement letter when they are requesting services that are not included in their monthly plan, and can easily invoice for those services if/when needed.

  ### 16. Huge time saver, gets proposals out the door and into my clients' hands

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne H. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Once you get the services set up, it's so easy to send proposals and they're uniform. It took a lot of time for me to get these set up, but once I got them done it's click and drag and the proposals are very professional. My clients have given me great feedback.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There are a couple of things / product fixes I have recommended.
One, have the ability to get rid of the Space Ranger demo client so that the test proposals you make don't affect your pipeline.
Two, have versions of the proposals available to view when there are updates. When you revoke a proposal the history of what you originally sent is gone.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using Word to send proposals which was a giant pain and took me a week or two to get them out of my e-mail and to the potential client. Using Ignition makes it easy to get a proposal right out. This increases my client base and my billing.

  ### 17. Great for efficiency in proposals and invoicing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy K. | Client Relationship Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The proposal renewal process is SO easy and fast - we used to spend days prior to Ignition and now it's only a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Sometimes the interface isn't intuitive or user-friendly but the support team is always helpful.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We know what revenue looks like with a few clicks.

  ### 18. Amazing customer service and great product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Blue Dove Consulting Group is a client-centric firm; as such we need client-friendly tech that is easy to use and understand. Ignition is definitely one of those softwares and Evan, my account manager, is amazing!

We use the proposal to offer multiple options to clients, we do 3 tiers that give the client the option that they think is best for their business. The proposal automatically creates an invoice and can automatically take payments, if you choose automatic and is based on the payment information the client entered directly. We require payment details to be entered into Ignition before the client can accept the proposal and we never have to touch or access those payment details.

You can add brochures, email templates for certain types of proposals (Tax vs CAS), next steps messaging to let them know about a portal email, etc. I even had a Zapier integration that Evan helped me set up, that automatically adds a new client to our portal when a proposal is accepted.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I wouldn't say dislike, but additional features I would love to see:

A reminder feature, if a client's payment fails there is no reminder that there is a past-due invoice

1 proposal for an owner of two small businesses, but that can be invoiced based on a percentage to each business and still have all of the information remain under the one owner

An option for the client to reject the proposal so the 3 reminders that a proposal is waiting for signature will stop sending

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management, efficiency, and $0 in AR

  ### 19. Time saving tool to improve workplace efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The ability to invoice clients on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis, based on their individual needs. Once the proposal is set up payments are generated automatically and invoices generated and sent to clients. The integration with XPM then creates jobs for completion that are then allocated to the relevant staff member. This saves our business at lot of time in generating invoices and collecting payment as this happens automatically in the background. Our debtors have reduced and with workflow jobs being created work for clients can be prioritised.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Cannot do a partial refund. Can only refund the full amount. This makes refunding clients more time consuming as a bank transfer then needs to be completed outside of Ignition. Having this functionality would make it better.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having clients made aware of the costs up front eliminates the many conversations about fees each year we see them. Staff are saving time as invoices do not need to be generated by the accountant nor payment collected via merchant facilities or having to wait for a bank transfer to clear. Funds are reaching our account sooner, less debtors, increased profitability as support staff can create proposals and professional staff do the work, not admin work as well.

  ### 20. Ignition: I can't imagine not having it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin B. | Founder and MD, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The ability to create consistent and professional-looking proposals in minutes, that are then sent to clients for review and signature.

Signed proposals then link with Karbon to generate specific tasks and workflows for our different teams, whilst also links to Xero to create our invoices.

It's a super easy system to use, can be used out of the box with standard services, or (as we've done) be developed with your own bespoke services.

If you run into any difficulties the customer support is also very, very good.

I use Ignition multiple times every day. I can't imagine running our business without it.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Nothing.

I can't imagine running our practice without Ignition.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We began using Ignition because we needed a simple solution for sending out consistent proposals to our clients, that allowed clients to sign online, and then once proposals were signed, auto-generated our invoices in Xero.

As our business grew we then knew we needed a practice management tool to store all of ur tasks and workflows. The fact that Ignition has a direct API connection Karbon was a major reason for us to choose Karbon as that practice management tool.

So now signed proposals not only generate our Xero invoices, but they also link directly to, and kick off, workflows in Karbon.

Seamless in all directions!

  ### 21. Ignition is easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Ignition is easy you has made proposals and billing a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Takes a bit of time to set up and get used to.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating manual proposals

  ### 22. Fantastic Resource For My Business Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Ignition has helped to streamline our business operations, providing a seamless solution for quoting, proposals, contracts, and payments. The intuitive interface makes quote creation quick. Customizable proposals and easy e-signing have really streamlined our client interactions. The integrated payment processing ensures swift transactions.

Ignition has become an invaluable tool, saving us time and resources while elevating our professionalism in client engagements. Highly recommended for any service based businesses seeking efficiency in processes.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Although this software has positively changed my business, the high price point for an upgraded account is hard for me to afford at this point. But the pricing is worth it as the system is wonderful for business.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall streamlining the quoting, proposal, contract, and payment process.

  ### 23. No more debtors!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miranda B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

It's so easy to use, the templates are helpful and I love the upfront collection of payment details. No more debtors! We use it daily to engage new clients, as we are a new accounting firm building our client base. I love it how it integrates with Xero and XPM for billing and job flow.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There is no real downside - if anything at all, it would be the price, but you save this on not having to waste time chasing clients to sign engagement letters and pay invoices.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Starting a new accounting firm, we have a large number of clients that need to be engaged correctly - Ignition takes care of this. The different payment options we can offer clients is great, which means we have no debtors.

  ### 24. Efficient and Reliable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Ease of use due to a very clear user interface and a very helpful support team. Ignition is extremely time effective and is also integrated with Xero which is essential to our processes.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There is a slight lack of customisation in the engagement letter creation process. Some of our clients prefer hardcopy engagement letters and unfortunately the PDF version is not very visually appealing - I understand that Ignition is an electronic service but in such circumstances it would be very helpful if we could customise our own printable PDF engagement letter for clients that prefer this option.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating our engagement letter process and the ability to bill clients simultaneously.

  ### 25. Ignition is the best engagement platform available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Efficient, after sales service is amazing, the customer support is prompt and they solve any issues immediatley along with providing training. The webinars they supply are great for help in growing my practice.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

The cost, but when I stopped using it thinking it was too expensive I soon realised it is worth every penny and came back! You get what you pay for.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bad payers have to either pay in advance using the direct debit feature or make a deposit before work is started

  ### 26. Super Easy to Use!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah-Leigh M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

My team has learnt how to use Ignition, so before they do any adhoc work for a client, they send a proposal first.

We are not losing as much money on adhoc work as we have in the past.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

My only dislike about Iginition is that there is no reject botton when clients receive a proposal.

If one was set up, that sent through a notification the same way an accepted proposal does, then we can chose to archive the client, contact the client or requote the client.

The proposal then wont "irritate the client" by sending repeat reminders to accept.

We do a lot of Income Tax work and send out 300 proposals at the beginning of tax season and if clients tax status changes, so it would be easier if they could Reject the quote, maybe with a comment box to explain why they are rejecting the quote.

The other thing that I really would apprecaite being addded to the program, is whe you send for the invoice, if we could attached documents with the invoice - that would be a very valuble option for someone like me in the accounting profession.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The invoices being created once the work is completed. I cannot tell you the peace of mind from knowing that invoices are not being missed, that it llinks in with my accounting system and I know invoice reminders are being sent out without me having to do it.

  ### 27. Combines precise proposals with monthly payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pat H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Two areas are most helpful. First, the structure used to write the proposals/contratcs are set by you to be used as you'd like. Secondly, linking the acceptance of the proposal to a payment method gives you a smooth cash flow.

Ignition's customer support is awesome. Our client support person is fabulous and patient and clearly explains each step needed to enhance out proposals.

We are a Quickbooks Online Firm and the proposals and payments flow right into QBO.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

The only problem is set up is time intensive as you would expect with new system.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No Accounts Recevable! We are paid monthly automatically.

  ### 28. An excellent client management software.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The user interface is intuitive and the customer support is stellar.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There are some quality of life features that could be included or upgraded, but Ignition is always improving, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they are available or improved.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have effectively eliminated our accounts receivable, which was our main goal when switching to Ignition.

  ### 29. Ignition works wonders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Ignition is like adding staff to handle proposals and billing. Simple, thorough proposals everytime. It has been a time saver for our firm. The proposal examples gave me ideas to increase revenues substantially. I also like the fact it is not charged per transaction, at first that sounds good but eventually grows to be a problem.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There's a lot of tax related proposals that I don't use. Not a big deal. I just ignore them.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use to have a long drawn out process of producing a proposal, Ignition has greatly simplified this process. Keeping them all in one place is a game changer also. The reminder to sign a proposal is amazing. Last but not least is the invoicing and payment collection is outstanding!

  ### 30. We liked it a lot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chanchal M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Invoicing and proposal to the new clients

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Nothing as such as yet but so far it is fine

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly new proposal and direct debit payment arrangement

  ### 31. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenda C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

It's helping me to get paid for all services and create a continuous cash flow with subscription plans.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Just need to learn it better. Nothing negative to say.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use once you get your head around it. I love that it integrates well with XPM and Xero. Less debtors to chase. The implementation has been easy, Great customer support. We use it almost on a dayly basis for our SMSF and big group of clients.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I don't like that you can't do many changes once it has been approved.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Debtors and reconciliations of payments

  ### 37. Ignition: An Automated Accountant + Businessman

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The thing that I like best with Ignition is that you are able to engage the client with your proposals virtually and also proposal free. In this modern time, it makes things much more easier to do and also saves much more time than using papers for proposals.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

The one that I dislike with this one is that the placement of the proposals can be quite confusing and that there is no option to do split payment for clients when they accept the proposal.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

Say goodbye to papers and face to face proposal meetings and say hi to paperless, virtual and easy to use engagement with your clients.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As said before, one problem would be not having the option for an instalment payment plan in the proposal. Benefits would definitely be the automated process of doing the proposals and sending them out to the client. In turn, you are also able to create workflows that would be able to help your business.

  ### 38. Best invoicing software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sakshi S. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

I love how user-friendly it is. You can customize your services and break the pricing down into different modes. It accepts various payment options and integrates so well with the Xero. The software is user-friendly, and it also sends automatic client reminders!

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

The only feature I would love to have is if it allows clients to do a payment plan, and we can charge interest if clients choose to go with this option. The firm can select the interest rate and admin fee on the backend if the client decides to use the payment plan instead of paying it up front.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer have to chase clients on their proposals as the software sends reminders. The software also integrates with Xero, which makes bookkeeping super easy. It also allows you to add a budget to see how the business is doing each month with budget vs actual.

  ### 39. Getting paid faster and more efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | Quality Review Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Easy to use, breaking down invoices into multiple payments

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

nothing so far to be honest, everything seems great

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping our firm get paid faster and reducing the work a client needs to do to pay us. It connects with Xero which we and our clients mainly use

  ### 40. A powerful system to produce a proposal and manage a strong business.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vita A. | Procurement Assistant Manager EU, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

With Practice Ignition, it has become so easy and efficient for me to run our business. Direct debit collection and invoices in soft format have made things advance and efficient as well. By a single link, we are now able to send a large engagement. It is a complete package that has a lot of features like with practice ignition we are now able to send and track proposals which helped us in the better running of a client focused business. This ultimately saved my precious time in generating proposals and has made customer engagement prompt and simple too. DISADVANTAGE

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I think it would be great that it make us able to send a single Proposal to a client with multiple options rather than sending different proposals with different options it would make it more efficient. And I am not much satisfied with its chargeback option too.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping in view the features and ease it has incorporated in my life I think it is a really good and powerful way to run a business successfully and I like its ability to create and track proposals that make it super. By using its automatic payment we don’t have to disturb customers every month we only create a proposal and voila..and it has an amazing support system too.

  ### 41. Making life so much easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The paperless invoicing saves us money and works seamlessly. Also the Direct Debit collection works really well and the integration with our accounts software (Quickbooks) for creating the invoices is great. It has made our lives so much easier.
It is also very easy to use and we have had no issues in training up staff and very few issues in getting clients to sign or view the proposals.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I dislike the continuous billing switched on by default, as this can mean a DD carries on while the next year's proposal begins so we have to keep an eye out for this in order to stop proposals continuing and having to refund clients. This is something that we have to monitor and can cause us to spend time correcting. Perhaps this needs sorting in settings?
Other than that there isn't much that we dislike about it, but I am sure it will continue improving with the times and is invaluable to the business.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

Go for it! You won't regret it. The time saving and ease of use is great. We haven't looked back and we highly recommend it. We find it invaluable to the business!

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time saving problems have been solved, as we can quickly raise a proposal and we don't have to do any printing and posting. All staff can access it and monitor the proposals. It is very quick to amend any proposals where needed, whereas this would have taken a great deal of time in sending letters out before. It also helps with fee increases and reviewing the fees.
We have also saved paper and space within the office, as we no longer have to store signed agreements nor scan them in to our software as it sits in Practice Ignition. This has also saved money in postage and buying headed paper.

  ### 42. My PI review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard C. | Global Solutions Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Simple to make proposition, when the setup has been finished. It demonstrates to me how a lot of cash I have coming in consistently, and what amount is coming in for quite a long time to come. So it without any assistance handles our commitment, month to month invoicing and direct charge installment preparing.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Can take a short time to get it set up and to get comfortable with how it capacities.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

I'd prescribe you draw in with a specialist in any case, to guarantee your inner procedures are adjusted in like manner and that on the off chance that you associate this with any of the incorporated programming arrangements, you comprehend the effect of the proposition creation and how this conveys solicitations and employments.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It assists with the initial introductions of the firm, and customers are stalled marking numerous agreements for various administrations. The usability for customers has been extraordinarily improved. Consistence and commitment, no more indebted individuals, work the board. The greatest advantage is getting commitment letters marked, getting programmed accumulations, and having everything brought together and sorted out.

  ### 43. Practice Ignition Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

We've been able to streamline our proposal and renewal process, sending multiple letters of engagement (tax, advisory, implementation services) within one link. We like the ability to customize the templates and branding. This platform was recommended to us by several people in the accounting industry, and we're glad to have made the switch.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

There is an inability to switch between different templates, so renewals get the same email that new clients get, which can be confusing.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is much less cumbersome for clients than other solutions we've used in the past. It helps with the first impressions of the firm, and clients are bogged down signing multiple contracts for different services. The ease of use for clients has been greatly improved.

  ### 44. Saves me hours of work every month

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelly R. | Founder and President, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Practice Ignition not only saves me hours of work every month, it also shows me how much money I have coming in every month, and how much is coming in for months to come.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Accepting ACH payments via Practice Ignition only costs $1.00, but it takes more time to receive the payment than I would like. Still, the automatic collection from customers, combined with the fact that I no longer need to generate monthly Invoices, makes it worth the wait.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

The tech support is amazing. Let them help you set it up.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to generate invoices to clients, or collect payments from them. I know how long my engagements are and how much money I have coming in from all of my combined engagements. I have saved many hours of tedious work, and my clients have a very clear understanding of the scope and length of our engagement. Renewing the engagement each year is a simple click.

  ### 45. Thank you Practice Ignition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

No more chasing for money
No more paying credit card fees
The Engagement Letter is in the Proposal, so we don't need to send separately, wait for signed copy returned
Easy to create proposals, once the setup has been done
Year end renewal process is a gem
PI's link to Xero makes accounting for receipt of income automatic, and nothing for us to do since PI takes care of this
We have converted all but one client to accepting PI, and our 18 month experience has been awesome

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I'd like PI to pull new client contacts in Xero into PI, or push from PI to Xero, so we don't have to duplicate this
PI requires a substantial investment in time to learn; I wish the step by step process was more user-friendly, and point out pitfalls

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to keep a close eye on receivables
Proposals are consistent, clear and concise, and easy to prepare for clients using the Services feature
Save on credit card fees

  ### 46. Professional, effective, work smarter not harder!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Accountant, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Solved the age-old issue of detailing a well-written engagement in an efficient manner. Also enabled us to start offering fixed monthly fee packages which our clients love - it's great for their cash flow and ours. So it single handedly handles our engagements, monthly invoicing and direct debit payment processing.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I'd like it to keep growing and become more of a business intelligence tool. However, this is not really a dislike as through my interactions with Guy and his team I know they are looking to expand on the features which PI currently has.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

If you handle monthly payments, retainer work, fixed invoices, or simply just require a more strict application of engagement protocols then you need this software. It's revolutionised our business and I am always thinking to myself 'what would we do without it'. I know it's targeted at accountants but I can't see why other professional service businesses couldn't use it too.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engagements - stop the scope creep in work carried, be more transparent with clients on pricing, and fulfil professional association obligations all in one hit.
Payment processing - a cost-effective way to collect direct debits each month. The software also handles the bookkeeping entries which could make 50 direct debit payments monthly a nightmare to handle in the books.

  ### 47. RAVING Patron

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariel D. | Founder | Accounting & Bookkeeping Services, Training, & Resources for Jewelers, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

We have been using Practice Ignition since May 2016 (going on a year and a half as of this review) and it has streamlined so many tasks. I used to use (and Pay for) multiple programs; when I found PI through Xerocon 2015, I was hesitant because of the monthly subscription. After an analysis, I saw I would not only be saving money, but time, and we all know what that means: more money savings. I was using Adobe eSign for online contracts and accepting payments through a myriad of processors: Bill.com, Stripe, PayPal, Intuit, checks... Practice Ignition wiped all that away. I love that there are templates for terms and services that are easy to update and customize per client. All of the payment options are great too: recurring, upon completion (with or without a down payment), estimates (hourly or price range), and clients can setup autopay with their bank or CC and easily update their info themselves. Another best thing: PI integrates with Xero, so the invoices are automatically created each month in Xero and maps the jobs to clients in Practice Manager - another huge plus for our time tracking. The ACH fees and CC discounts are good.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

The initial setup of products and templates was a monster; so set that time aside (why we switched in May/June after tax season). I adore being able to easily customize a proposal now in a few clicks. The setup of the templates was worth it, and so easy to add new ones and modify existing ones now on the fly. In contrast to the things I love about PI, the downsides are that the auto created invoices, don't automatically get emailed to clients, so that has to be done (can be sent in batch from Xero), but I would prefer an auto sent email reminder be sent letting clients know, instead of us having to send and have customized emails to let people know NOT TO PAY, because it's already being collected. This isn't a deal breaker compared to all the advantages, but I would like to see this feature one day. The integration with Practice Manager (workflowmax) can duplicate client names; this may be an error on Xero's side, but easy enough to archive the wrong one. I wish the deposits were 1 or 2 day instead of 3-10 days.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

Don't wait. My only regret using Practice Ignition is that I didn't switch to it when I first heard about it.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing, Proposals, Job Creation, Lead Management, Renewals

  ### 48. Best software EVER!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giles W. | Founder and CEO, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

The ease of set up. I set up PI from scratch within a few of days and this included me writing the various agreements as I went along. If your agreement templates already exist then you can be using PI within a day. My clients love it to. No more printing and manual signing of documents. Everything is on line. The UI is great and the dashboard will be your constant companion, as you watch your revenue targets grow and grow. Very satisfying.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

I can't say I dislike anything. I know some users would like to have the option to bill by the hour which PI does not offer, but that is not relevant to my organisation.

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

If you have all your agreements in place already, then setting up PI will take no time at all.

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to send all agreements to clients in Microsoft Word/PDF. Every proposal would have to be manually put together with our and the clients contact details and the various details of the agreement. Very time consuming indeed. A PDF version would then be sent to the client, who would then have to print off the proposal, sign it and scan it back. Very time consuming and annoying for them. Now all this is semi-automated with just a few click. Clients can sign on line. We have complete visibility to all agreements that are being drawn up, sent to clients, accepted by clients and in progress. The PI dashboard shows fantastic stats about your revenue, from recurring revenue to average client revenue. We use Xero as our accounting software which allows PI to automatically interface the sales invoice data into Xero. No more manual keying.

  ### 49. No More Chasing Receivables

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy S. | Owner, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

PI allows me to collect payment information upfront from clients - when they sign the engagement letter - so I am able to automatically collect our fees instead of waiting for a check.

Saves us a lot of time in sending out proposals since we have set up our standard services and can add them to proposals with one click.

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

It still takes a little while to receive the funds after collecting from the client.

I would love the ability to create quarterly recurring services (instead of only monthly).

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes me better about collecting engagement letters - which were always hit or miss in the past. Now we are at 100% compliance.

We no longer spend any time chasing receivables.

  ### 50. Great ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve B. | Owner, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Ignition?**

Once you have spent the time to set up your practice details & service details, this software enables you to really push the up sell to your new & prospective clients, with complete flexibility

Plus the cost of the software, really pushes the benefit, as is creates a genuinely high ROI

**What do you dislike about Ignition?**

Why did it take me so long to find & make use of this software

**Recommendations to others considering Ignition:**

Honestly if you're considering using PI take that step & sign up, the ROI that I have experienced from using this software, has been truly amazing and has brought my practice "out of the dark" of using paper form agreements and engagement letters

**What problems is Ignition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PI brings the application of Letters of Engagement, fee structure & payment all into the same automated platform
