What do you like best about Igloo?

Lots of options on how to collate and present information in different formats, while being easy to navigate. Like being able to add blogs, share documents, create larger pieces of information using links to navigate around the work. Users from many roles can provide content and access information. Support available if required. Able to change the layout and re-prioritise information if needed. Different access levels is essential to stay compliant for GDPR etc. Good to be able to change number of users if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Igloo?

Would like more options for the end view users see. Graphics could stand out more. Some of the graphics look a little bit dated so would like to see a more modern finish. Would like to wow users when they first log in. Would like member grouping to be simplified. Never remembers my login, even when saving it! Sharing information worldwide. Important to be able to share all resources available. Easy to update in a changing environment. Have sometimes tried different formats to see what works best for a specific piece of information. Good to be able to link to external websites and other sources. Cost for additional services - there are fees associated with some integrations and any code work that is not part of your original contract

AD/SSO needs - do you want your employees to be able to use single sign on and have active directory sync with the platform. If so, how will you execute with your internal IT team

ease of customization - a lot needs to be done by the Igloo team to create the exact workplace you are envisioning

Support levels - know what you need in terms of support and purchase the right support package

Level of education and engagement from employee base

Get executive buy in before purchasing any digital workplace platform

During planning, create a training plan for employees to contribute to your platform

Ask lots of questions before, during and after purchase and implementation

Ensure your IT team is part of the implementation and well versed as well on the platform

What problems is Igloo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to communicate on a firm-wide basis without additional emails. It has also allowed us to create a repository for HR, IT, Finance and Marketing tools while also creating important news feeds for the client facing teams. Recommendations to others considering Igloo:

Make sure you have a small team of people to help with deployment. Develop a governance plan prior to rolling this out to your staff. They won't know what to do with it and get frustrated if you don't have a governance plan and a plan for how you want to use the platform. This will cause them to not use it. Igloo allowed us a to design and create a website to our needs, there may be some specific gaps in our service due to Igloo's limitations but in general, I would recommend Igloo as a complete service provider. "Almost one year in, Campfire is our excellent digital workplace on Igloo."

What do you like best about Igloo?

At first the Igloo components and terminology was a bit daunting. All the 'how to' training videos break the initial mystery down to more easily understandable chunks. I found myself opening a video, listening for awhile, stopping it, and building the channel and widgets in our workplace. Little by little it came to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Igloo?

Great system for quickly creating and managing content, dates and documents that have complex access and/or language requirements. A free trial with very few limitations made this tool easy to assess, sell internally, and deploy to our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Igloo?

Monthly feature updates have slowed down in past few years. A few key features have had longstanding bugs. Certain features like content sliders and social widgets which should be part of the product are instead sold as 3rd party add-ons. Take the free trial as far as you can. Learn to build your own solutions. Some HTML knowledge will go a long way. Do not over-design, or overstyle your site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Igloo?

This is a reliable platform to have a very good productivity, it is easy to use, it can be said that it has a clean interface which makes its handling better since it carries a good order, allows me to exchange files, schedule meetings and maintain a task control for my team, this can also be used as a social media platform, the truth is that Igloo has features that are very good, as well as, that you can send updates by email. What do you dislike about Igloo?

Igloo is a tool that, as well as having good characteristics, also has some details that are not very favorable to the system and the one that uses it since it has a small flaw and is that it does not seem so good for the search or use offline, The rest is a tool that can be very useful. The Igloo software is very useful for workers who are out of the office, the free version is good for product evaluations with users up to 10, which is very good because still it follows a good interaction with the team of work, allows an exchange of information, schedule meetings and control team tasks, all these features help the company to have a better productivity in this reliable platform.
