## IFS Cloud Reviews
  ### 1. Yeh it’s alright

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I appreciate ifs ERP for its robust features, seamless integration capabilities, and user-friendly interface, providing you with efficient tools to streamline business processes, enhance decision-making, and optimize overall operations.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The gui is a bit clunky and the platform rather niche, plus the mobile tools aren't very mature.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procurement to pay

  ### 2. Great user experience, quick support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jade S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

It's more user friendly than the old version.
Introduction of lobbies is good, all info in one place

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The updates can cause random bugs and are not always obvious at first.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Latest update caused some issues with change management, support team are working on it.

  ### 3. It's my work manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sidali T. | Relationship Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Using it for my business process or my business management.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Nothing, after the new update I have nothing to say.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a way IFS connect all the workers of the company.

  ### 4. The power of IFS is amazing and overwhelming.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS is intelligent, powerful and logical. We use it for 95% of our business process, and we could use it for 99%. IFS Cloud has improved several of the methods, quoting and asset management.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

What you think should be intuitive is not, and the business reporter is not as simple to use. Many of the areas you need to set up to meet your needs. That is both good and bad. If you don't know how to set it up, it isn't easy to understand how to start. Some of the features we used regularly are no longer available in Cloud. Human Capital Management seems complicated for businesses that do not use it for actual payroll.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS is trying to keep all business functions in one location. That would be beneficial instead of having data in several applications with duplicate input. We have not fully taken advantage of all IFS has to offer but we keep striving to move in that direction.

  ### 5. IFS gets the job done, but fall short in a number of ways.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I really like the ability to customize IFS to fit our company's processes. We use IEE and love the ability to customize screens, lobbies and more. We have been doing some work in Aurena to prepare for an upgrade but have been frustrated to the point that management has decided to skip Aurena and jump to Cloud. We just hope that customizations are as easy to do as with IEE.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The IFS technical documentation is hard to read or even find the topic. We have been exploring Aurena for our outside sales group, and finding documentation not on Cloud but Aurena is almost impossible.

We don't like Aurena that much. It seems half baked. Aurena doesn't seem to get us where we want to go.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main reasons we chose IFS in 2013 was that we could use it for all our business divisions from distribution, to project engineering and fabricating, to day to day on-site services. IFS allows us to pull all our business together.

  ### 6. IFS User Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacey R. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I like IFS because it is very structured and user-friendly. Having the ability to search for specific functions and queries helps to save time. Since we started utilizing the attachment feature, it has enabled us to have one source for transactions with corresponding supporting documents.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

There are areas within IFS where the coding requirements are ignored; adding consistency would prevent many posting errors at the month-end close. The consolidation process is a bit tedious.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS helps integrate production and finance for an effective close. We can also integrate other systems into IFS for Sales, etc. It has been easy to create reporting for our specific business needs.

  ### 7. Excellent Dababase system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad N. | Project Engineer (Water Treatment), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Customer order booking system help us aloot

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Package part is Least helpful about IFS to us

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer order booking and stock management

  ### 8. IFS Superior Tier 2 ERP solution.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett D. | Head of IT & Digital Transformation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The thing I find most helpful about IFS is the ability to get access to key information metrics via dashboard/lobbies capability. Having used other tier 2 ERP solutions. I find the user interface and general strength of the product to be far superior.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

We are currently using IFS, apps, 10, which is good, however, having recently seen a preview of IFS cloud, the current interface is significantly inferior. Very much looking forward to upgrading to IFS cloud.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our business IFS is solving the problem of desperate ERP solutions across our group of companies. We are now consolidating all Marshall group companies onto the IFS platform and architecture.

This allows us to share resource amongst the business with a common tool that those particular role groups will be familiar with.

  ### 9. Powerful ever expanding and improving mid tier ERP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Be W. | Global Director Business Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The user interface and flexibility of configuration options provide enough degrees of freedom to adapt to almost any situation.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Nitpicky, but how IFS has set Company/site access alongside but not directly connected to core permissions sets up a 'false choice' between allowing users access across companies or maintaining lock on security.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interconnected modules, global standards in process, enabler of master data management, and connection to outside systems via EDI and Open API's. We're now poised to leverage better data analytics and look for automation opportunities via configuration or locally applied customizations (CRIMs)

  ### 10. IFS Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS allows us the ability to expand our customer base into different markets and offer more services to more customers with little increase to overhead.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Support and a sense of Partnership before and during the initial implementation of our FSM solution was severely lacking.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now provide better service to our customers and offer them asset-level reporting. We also can now improve our call-taking and dispatching process. IFS will allow us to provide our customers with a much better customer experience from our technicians and back office supporting staff.

  ### 11. IFS applications, the best ERP you've probably never heard of.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Great, modern user interface, the latest version IFS cloud has a cloud native, modern infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

While they are growing quickly, they are not as mature as other vendors, particularly for larger customers (>$250M). Internally they are quite siloed, so it can be challenging to get holistic solutions to your business problems. The implementation methodology is not appropriate for larger customers, with considerable complexity or lots of change management to do. The user forums are improving, but are quite thin right now. However, if you get connected to the right people and executives, they are responsive, are rapidly improving, and actually do listen to their customers.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing a new manufacturing ERP to replace our legacy technology and allow us to grow beyond $1B in sales

  ### 12. Legacy to cloud

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tray S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS's upsides can be felt in its innovation and integration capabilities using IFS Cloud. The solution revolving around planning and scheduling optimization would best benefit our use cases.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Our support model is restricted because we use an older version and cannot move to the cloud. As we have issues arising, support from IFS would be greatly needed.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, in our legacy instance, it solves the problem of technician dispatching. Our model is very dated; therefore, we are not receiving or using all of the capabilities of FSM.

  ### 13. Difficult transition from a heavily modified ERP system-but we are happy with the functions/features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan H. | I.T. Specialist - Senior I.T. Specialist - I.T. Manager - Director of I.T., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

User interface is great - functions are flexible and customizable.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Did not include EDI feature for the automotive industry so we had to purchase another product.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS has automated manually processes that were conducted outside of the ERP system

  ### 14. IFS helps with managing assests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelica A. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Everything is in one place. You can see and track what you have.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

I'm not sure if it's IFS or something else in our software but it glitches pretty often

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of running multiple apps to organize our assets and hold numbers, everything is on here in 1 place.

  ### 15. Strong System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim P. | Central Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

User friendlyness, ability to implement customisations

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

High charges for changes that need to be implemented by IFS, however with the FSM6 upgrade these should reduce.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS solves all of our scheduling issues via integration with PSO

  ### 16. Overall a good ERP system with sufficient flexibility in setup options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | Chief Financial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The customizability of the software is a key feature, the SQL basis and features covering the majority of business transaction, setup types and adaptable to most regulatory environments.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The response time from IFS support for technical bugs can vary, and at times the wait time to resolve issues has been too long for normal business needs, we have waited months at times for a fix of a certain bug.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We operate as a custom project-based business and the features offered within IFS as well as the savy of our local ERP team has allowed us to make excellent use of the software in our business and implement efficiencies and integrations, like a purchasing portal, or interaction with automated importing of a Bill-of-Materials.

  ### 17. Questionable technical capabilities, confusing engagement for issues, and lack of urgency

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The production environment availability has been very stable over the last year and a half with few issues. For the most part it has been dependable and feedback on the user experience is positive from our user base.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The support organization has questionable technical strength and is lacking in basic environment management processes. Our test environment was out of sync with Oracle updates and Delivery versions for 9+ months. There was failure after failure as the support team tried to apply Deliveries. It prevented multiple business critical enhancements and fixes from being moved to production because the test environment was so far out of sync with production and multiple key OTC processes couldn't be tested successfully.

We continually experience finger-pointing and back-and-forth exchanges of issues between different internal IFS teams. I have multiple examples where Global Support says one thing and other organizations (ex. Cloud) say something different. As the customer, we watch the IFS teams go back and forth with no progress while the issue goes unresolved and our users suffer.

Overall, escalation to our client VP contact is almost always required to get issues addressed with any semblance of urgency.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS is used as the ERP platform for mobile medical equipment rental and repair. The solution includes a custom mobile solution to enable technicians to work remotely as they deliver and pick up equipment from customers.

  ### 18. A Critical Exploration of IFS EAMs Impact on Enterprise Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS EAM includes features for preventive and predictive maintenance. This helps organizations schedule maintenance tasks more efficiently, reducing downtime and extending the lifespan of assets.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Employees may resist using EAM tools, especially if they perceive them as complicated or time-consuming. Proper training and change management are crucial to overcoming this challenge.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual and disjointed processes can result in inefficiencies, errors, and delays.

  ### 19. BSA View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS can run nearly any business. While primarily known for the maintenance aspect, we use IFS from Order to Cash. Our catalog company also offers customizable products, processing and shipping approximately 500 shipment lines per day. The extended API capability with Apps10 has also benefited streamlining data across multiple external systems. As we grow within IFS, we find the opportunities nearly limitless. Currently, we have two sites working within IFS and plan to add more sites/companies. Some current uses are MRP, EDI, WaDaCo (Warehouse Data Collection), Manufacturing, Site to Site transactions. Near-future plans include Maintenance and Project Management.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The biggest challenge has been finding consultants to support growth. We are an American-based company, and the EU has many different laws. Our employees have used managed ERPs, but upon moving off those, they are not so helpful with sharing setup requirements. We need consulting for this but struggle to find resources at times.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS is continuing to innovate and grow its portfolio of offerings. However, they have not left out the maintenance of their product. IFS continues to bug-fix as issues arise with quick responses. These are then rolled into the next Update of the product software.
Also, IFS has improved our manufacturing processes through the ease of labor tracking. Labor Tracking was previously done using manual time studies, but their Shop Floor Workbench makes labor tracking a breeze, and the data is already entered.

  ### 20. IFS created a good ERP system, which can reach all departments of the company

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ENILDO C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The system manages to reach almost all departments of the company, and we are always learning with functionalities that we didn't even know could exist.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

the design leaves a lot to be desired, both in terms of the layout and in the creation of new objects that could help in the performance and speed of the company's work

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managed to make several satellite and scattered systems accessed in a single system.

  ### 21. It's all very logical!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I like that it is very logical and in order. The help is very good when you are new to an area. I like the broadness of the application and I don't think I have said "IFS does not offer that" yet.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Sometimes depending on which area you are using in IFS 10. There is a need for various amounts of data needed to be set up. Sometimes what is required are in many different places, making IFS sometimes difficult. In the way that if you miss changing or adding this data. The function might not work.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It Solves different problems for us. Moving toward digitalization of functions I see as the main one. IFS offers new ways of thinking and how to solve issues that would not be possible without the help of a system.

  ### 22. Internal Consultant in a technological company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS is very flexible. I appreciate we are able to customize quicky and we always receive good support from a local support partner. This way we can provide the best service to our internal customers.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

IFS is rather unknown in IT industry. Therefore when I am talking to my peers from other companies with similar scope, I am the odd one out as the other mostly use SAP or other "more popular" systems.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business control, transparency. We are doing as much as possible in IFS. Everything from HR agenda to logistics, selling, invoicing, maintenance and even simple CRM.

  ### 23. Decisionmaker today

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

It is a system and for a large company it is important to work in a system.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

We have an old version just now. But would that old system be your new system you would go bankrupt in comparing to what internet collaboration are today.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintenance, Finance

  ### 24. I am using IFS for 3 years and it was very helpful to do all I want.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shashin M. | IT Junior Executive , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

We can easily create quick reports for those who need them. We can easily navigate among windows and can use shortcut keys. We can run and execute queries as well.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

I am honestly saying that there are no any dislike options in IFS for me. But it is good enough to more strong links between respective windows and interfaces in IFS.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, we had an internal system to do our day-to-day transactions. It was very time-consuming and had so many issues. But we can easily do our transactions after obtaining the IFS to our company.

  ### 25. Head of IT & qualified Accountant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaun B. | Senior Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Everything in one place, one version of the truth. Highly configurable and can be tailored to our business

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Looks very different to current applications so taking users time to get used to the new look and feel

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

one version of the truth, all applications in one place, once implemented will drive significant efficiencies

  ### 26. Ifs for HR operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Easy to operate and work for various hr operations through IFS , I have been using IFS for payroll operations & it's easy to use and process payroll

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Interface and integration of processes should be synchronised, like while doing promotion/ increment entry , it requires two steps to make is effective, like one is from HR side and second payroll process.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing manual work and make accurate and time convenient processess.

  ### 27. Easy to customize fields and easy to navigate as an admin

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The ability to create custom reports and integrate them with Crystal Report.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

I'm not a big fan of lobby creation and layout. I feel like we are limited in what we can do with the widgets once we created them. I hope IFS can have an interactive widget in the future products such as MS Dynamics Dashboard.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS is solving problems to make it easier to do Master Scheduling and MRP within the application. We can also link this information with the demand planner easily.

  ### 28. Functionally rich ERP

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Can be configured flexibly. Good functionality and user friendly operation. Can be tailored well for use in food & drink industry

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Like any ERP implementation, the introduction is a big task.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More accurate reporting. Better stock control. Demand Planning

  ### 29. Terrible software for manufacturing. Perfect for Consultants to make a living.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shapiro K. | Manufacturing Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The borders are purple. I like purple. The sales job to sell the software was very impressive. Fooled me.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The Aurena interface is terrible. Not intuitive at all. Suppose you know a part number and want to know everything about it. In that case, you have to enter the part in multiple screens to find out if they are in stock, if they are on a Purchase Order (a two-step process) or Shop Order. Where the component is used, how many were used last year, who the supplier is, the unit of measure, sales price, invoice cost, lot size, order multiples, etc. Stock labels don't have stock location printed, so it is hard to see if a box is located correctly at a glance. Support is available from consultants that range from good to terrible. All at a price. We have had to increase staff at all levels to handle the additional work required for IFS to operate (Finance, Customer Support, Planning, Purchasing and Material Handling). Our old system (NAV 2004, with lots of customization) was so much easier to use that shop floor personnel could use it with 15 minutes of training, and Lot number tags could be printed with two clicks. I was sold on Lobbies, which we have not started to use and don't do much anyway. Questions go unanswered on the Community forum.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing comes to mind. Maybe someday, it will benefit my company and me. I work in Planning, and it sure keeps us busy.

  ### 30. A

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary A. | Loadmaster, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS provides capable software that empowers the business to track real-time compliance across all aspects of aviation maintenance.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The Maintenix product does not allow much customization to meet clients' specefic needs.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS appears to be working diligently on new features to befit the user community.

  ### 31. Wonderful product, but consultancy services should improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillermo V. | Planning, Innovation and ERP Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2021

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The product is very reliable and user-friendly in most of the operations. There is a lot of customization options that can be done by the customer and free of charge. It just needs the proper knowledge about the software, and you will be able to adapt it to your company's needs.

Interactive dashboards (called lobbies in IFS) are an excellent way to make the job easier for end-users: they will see the correct information to perform the right task at the right moment. Lobbies are also great when it comes to data discovery for chiefs and directors.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Support service is average. Consultants lack the project management skills and ability to achieve a successful implementation of the software.

We would like to have more flexibility for increasing or decreasing the number of licenses for a reasonable price.

**Recommendations to others considering IFS Cloud:**

If I were to implement IFS again, I would demand a PMP-certified project manager from IFS and another Project Manager for the customer with experience in software and project management. In this way, issues can be addressed soon enough and requirements kept in control.

Nevertheless, the effort is worth the product you receive, regardless of how painful the implementation could be.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data quality improved from day one. This lead us to having better reports, and most of them are real-time reports.

Clear improvement in productivity at Finance Department, Purchase Department and Project managers when doing cost control tasks.

  ### 32. A Comprehensive and Adaptable Multi Company Accounting Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steph R. | Senior Project Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

For a business that has over 100 entities - most standard software packages don't meet our needs. With IFS we are able to easily move between different entities, build group reports and utilise a consolodation module (that we dont use currently) The add on of business analytics is a great feature as its so adaptable and easy to build the exact reports you are after.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

IFS is complex enough for our multi entity purposes but in some parts its out of the box solution is too big for our processes. To work around this we have a number of automations that push through unnecessary steps of procurement for example which works for us but is a lot of clickng around the system. With a looming upgrade most of this will be resolved so we are looking forward to that.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have found IFS to be the most impactful with our operational budgeting - this was simple to setup and import multiple business units and design custom reports to assist with our board reporting. With the biggest impact being group reporting.

  ### 33. My review about implementation, usage and support of IFS Applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mihails D. | consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Very scalable system in terms of the use of separate modules, getting only the necessary part of all functionality. Intuitive user interface.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Lack of available technical documentation

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optimises key business processes, speeds up analysis of company events and reduces response times. Costs are reduced accordingly.

  ### 34. Powerful ERP for manufacturing business, with a user-friendly interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaban A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

User-friendly, and versatile regarding manufacturing businesses.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Crystal report is too slow in performance. There is no other tool to develope reports as per our requirements

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- monitoring the business
- integration between different divisions
- reporting and analysis
- Control
- More productive

  ### 35. Flexible solutions for tailor made manufacturing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Simplfy our manufacturing processes and tracking projects

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

User interface can be more friendly sometimes

**Recommendations to others considering IFS Cloud:**

Easy and functional

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a complex manufaturing company, and we can use configurations to track our products.

  ### 36. It is very helpful and avoid waisting time in the worl

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Avoid waisting time, very flexible system, very friendly and i like the report shape

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Report and very easy steps to perform the transactions

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem are:friendly with my company employee and the system bot complicated

  ### 37. It was good for the intended use, but we were not required to use it to it's full capabilities.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakitha F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

It provided easy-to-use functionality for Accounts payable and accounts receivable.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

We only seemed to use a small portion of the capability of IFS.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to process day-to-day invoices through the process of input, approval, PO matching and payment.

  ### 38. Very poor support

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niel C. | ERP Functional Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The system is very flexible. The custom field, event and logical unit functionality does allow for powerful low code customizations

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The support received is very poor. Issues that are escalated take weeks to resolve.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

  ### 39. My experience with IFS has been very positive.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcin L. | Business Applications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Starting from the experience related to the company/partner with whom we did the implementation and we are supported, to the product itself, which is very much developed. From the perspective of 8 years of using the second version of the system, I see how IFS strongly focuses on providing the latest tools.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

I believe that there is still a lot to be done in terms of communication between the customer and the support department. Long waiting times and sometimes ineffective communication, lack of focus on quickly achieving the goal by the client are problematic

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many elements in the company that have been supported by the IFS system, but mainly it is work in the warehouse, reporting on production, where each element is tracked with a serial number. Many management processes have also been taken to the next level.

  ### 40. Feature Rich ERP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naren G. | Director Software Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

State-of-the-art software, keeping all business data and applications centralized and manageable.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Few minor missing detailed features and lake of upto date help.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run our day to day operation on IFS

  ### 41. Quality Module is Quality output!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Quality Control Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

All the information you need at your fingertips. IFS stands for, It's freaking Simple!" It's organized as you want it to be. You set it up the way you want.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Sometimes it crashes but I don't know if it's IFS fault. But it is frustrating when it does.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crashing seems to be subsiding which is such a big deal. Time is money as they say. So now we are more productive.

  ### 42. IFS provides a modern and intuitive ERP experience at an affordable price point.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hennie V. | Head: Business Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

- easy to use
- modern interface
- Lobbies! The dashboards make relevant data readily available
- strong integration between modules
- can do substantial customisation without affecting the source code (makes upgrades easier)

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

The IFS Application 10 Payroll sub-module is not localised to comply with South African legislation. Significant customisations would have been required to ensure compliance with SA tax laws, etc. IFS Application 11 does not have a Payroll sub-module any longer. Instead go with a local payroll software solution and integrate it with the IFS HCM module.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IFS is able to easily provide meaning to data, i.e. convert data into information by means of reports and dashboards. This solves a problem we had with our old SAP ERP system, where it was both difficult and expensive to develop business intelligence capabilities.

  ### 43. Promises not fulfilled

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** huzefa a. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

The core IFS ERP system is fundamentally good

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

IFS seems to be focusing on niche spaces. The core of this system is good. But they seem to be losing their way. Lobbies did not add much value. Thing like 3D modelling and virtual reality are gimmicks for an ERP.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From IFS 7.5, our full business runs on IFS including manufacturing, distribution and finance.

  ### 44. IFS Cloud 22 r1 experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sameera P. | System Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I have used IFS version 8 and IFS Cloud R1 ifs cloud can be used using different devices and have customization capabilities

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Complex kurbernates architecture and current errors

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a ERP system we have implemented ifs to help all the ERP fuctions like Procument, Purchasing , Warehouse , Manufacturing , Quality , HR , Finance and IFS provide us a good platform to control these process.

  ### 45. IFS Customer Focus Changed

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sivasubramanian M. | CIO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

As a Product IFS is Good for certain Business sectors. It meets the required business processes. Cost-Effective.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

1. No customer orientation
2. Does not care about the customer
3. There is no dedicated Account management for taking care of customer.
4. Though developing Product oriented Organization is good, it needs to develop resources in the market. It isn't easy to find quality IFS resources.
5. Decentralization of Localization of Geography. Partners are not able to meet customer expectations
6. As a customer - Not seeing a future focused on Tech Company
7. Transactional relationship rather than Strategy Focused
8. No Proactive approach in serving customers on regional-specific compliances & regulations.
9. Need to develop quality partners or strengthen the own capability.
10. It Needs to be more user friendly

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Entire Business Process of core EPC. It helps to monitor the P&L of each project till completion. It serves the Finance function properly.

  ### 46. A variable and flexible information system with a user-friendly environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaroslav . | IT / IS Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

- From version 8 user objects (Fields, Tables, Lists of values, Events and many others)
- Enterprise explorer client currently in use
- Excellent support and cooperation from a local partner CDC Data s.r.o. (Czech republic)
- 99% localization for the Czech Republic

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

- Some set processes in the system do not correspond to our use
- Specifically, the functionality of PMRP does not suit our usage
- Few colorful environment themes (only 2), we need at least 3 :-)
- Version 9 does not have a native connection to MS Teams

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The IFS application in the current version 9 solves all company processes (business, sales, production, service, DMS). The significant benefit is that everything is located in one system.

  ### 47. Easy to use and easy to access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisabeth J. | IT-Tekniker, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

I like the cloud solution, which makes it easy to access whether it's via laptop, tablet or mobile.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Certain functions only work via certain shortcuts.
Email notifications: For e.g. invoice reminders we would like to be able to make them have a nicer layout and easier to read.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The invoice flow becomes simpler and more efficient

  ### 48. IFS app review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Flexibility of the application and the ability to expand and adapt to your own needs.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Costs, implementation time, and especially the method of servicing.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems related to data protection - through authorized access and backup / restore thanks to the properties of the IFS application itself and the Orale database management system. Managing employees, fixed assets, logistics and production processes is also easier and more efficient.

  ### 49. Not user friendly in Aurena mode. The Enterprise mode seems better. Cloud is not still evaluated.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

Covers a lot, but need a lot of training and is not the fastest ERP system to use.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

Not user friendly user interface. Need more shortcuts to connected views.
The lack of intuitive shortcuts slows down the use.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning and production management, create history of transaction

  ### 50. Modern ERP System that's Customizable but requires patience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie F. | Manager of User-Based Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about IFS Cloud?**

IFS was a fresh look for a company coming off a 20-year-old ERP system. It is highly customizable with the help of 3rd-party resources. The implementation team worked with us and was in for the long haul. While there was back and forth and some disagreements here and there - that is going to be the case with any implementation all-in-all; IFS Provided us with a team that led to a successful launch of our product.

**What do you dislike about IFS Cloud?**

With every new system, you are going to have things you love and things you hate. Change is hard. My number one complaint would be the lengthy user setup process, followed by the difficulty of nailing down user permissions and fully understanding the requirements around the CRM outlook Plug In. We had situations where we got it to work, but there was so much trial and error that we were unsure what resolved the issue.

There is quite a bit of a learning curve here, as I've seen in other reviews - so be prepared to take your time - ask a lot of questions - and find a 3rd party resource to assist and train up your developers and IT Resources. If you can find someone already has experience with the software - don't let them slip away - onboard them but don't expect them to be able to carry all the load.

**What problems is IFS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous ERP system was very old and behind on updates, plus it was also on-premises, so if we had any network issues or maintenance at our main site, we lost the ability to use it. IFS resolves both of those for us.
