iDox.ai Guardrail is real-time AI agent security and data protection software. It stops sensitive data from leaving through AI tools and AI agents, before it happens: Data = what AI receives, Intent = what AI may do. Guardrail inspects prompts and chat, file uploads, clipboard and screen (OCR), local files and folders, AI agent tool calls, and MCP and agent-to-agent messages on the device. Detection, transformation and policy decisions happen at the point of AI use, before content reaches ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, open-source models or other AI platforms and agents. Each interaction can be allowed, sanitized or flagged for review (masked or anonymized), or blocked. What it protects: PII, PHI, financial data, credentials, intellectual property, source code, contracts and confidential business data, across 47 file formats and multiple languages. AI agent governance: control what agents can do before they act, including file and folder access, clipboard access, prompt execution, external communication and high-risk commands, with human approval where required. Natural-language threat analysis detects prompt injection and unsafe intent that signatures miss, and every decision is recorded in an audit trail. Policy packs cover healthcare, biotech and life sciences, legal, government and education, or define your own rules. Guardrail deploys on Windows, macOS and cloud-deployed AI-agent environments with a cloud or on-premises management console, and is designed to work alongside DLP, CASB, SSE/SASE, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and IAM tools through APIs, SDKs and webhooks.
