## About Ideagen Quality Management
Ideagen Quality Management is a cloud-based quality management system (QMS) that enables quality and operations managers in regulated industries to manage compliance, CAPA workflows, audits, document control and supplier quality across multiple sites from one connected platform. Named a Leader in the Verdantix Green Quadrant 2026, an independent analysis of 14 QMS platforms serving life sciences, healthcare and manufacturing, Ideagen received perfect scores of 3.0/3.0 for AI operations and supplier quality management. AI is embedded into quality workflows from the ground up, not added as a feature layer. Ideagen Mazlan uses an organization's own QMS data to draft policies, guide investigations, flag compliance gaps ahead of audits and track regulatory changes across jurisdictions in real time. What previously took three days of investigation takes three hours. The platform is purpose-built for GxP and regulated environments and reaches 80%+ adoption on the floor. Most QMS failures trace back to the same causes: quality data fragmented across sites, CAPA processes managed in email chains and documentation that is out of date before it reaches the people who need it. Ideagen Quality Management addresses these directly by centralizing quality workflows and automating document version control and approvals, eliminating the manual overhead that creates compliance risk across sites. Core capabilities include: Non-conformance and CAPA management: capture every non-conformance, guide root cause analysis and track corrective actions through to verified closure so the same issue does not recur Document control: automated versioning, approval workflows and full audit trails ensure every site works from the current, controlled version Audit and inspection management: plan, manage and evidence every audit in one place, with AI-driven monitoring delivering 99%+ reduction in audit findings Supplier quality management: monitor supplier performance, manage non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions across the supply chain Training and competency management: track certifications, qualifications and completion status — new hire training time reduced by 40% Regulatory intelligence: multi-jurisdictional regulatory change monitoring with automated alerts and impact analysis Organizations using the platform report 25-40% improvements in compliance audit scores, 50% faster CAPA cycle times and 30-50% reductions in documentation time. Customers include Nuffield Health, Torbay Pharmaceuticals, Fresenius Kabi, Vector Aerospace and Whyte & Mackay. The platform integrates with ERP, PLM, MES and HR systems and is available in cloud and on-premise deployments. Ideagen Quality Management is well suited to mid-market and enterprise organizations in regulated industries managing quality across multiple sites or standards, where fragmented systems and manual processes create compliance and operational risk.

## Ideagen Quality Management Reviews
  ### 1. Long Term Laboratory User - Vital System

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wallis H. | Pathology Quality & Governance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Nothing at all - move to new cloud based SaaS hosted version has not resulted in any changes to the desktop based version. Web based version not fit for use.
New version has tripled costs and provided sub standard support.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

No choice but to move to a cloud based version in order for system to continue to be supported. However since moving contract price has tripled and support is minimal with more reliance than ever on internal IT support.
Ideagen support takes days to respond to issues even with entire system outages.
Updates performed by Ideagen without warning and without request causing system outages and time/effort required for system checks. Currently on our second outage. First took 10 days to resolve.
Unacceptable support and would look to purchase an alternative product from an alternative provider.
Ideagen not the company it used to be.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All-in-one product for all aspects of Quality Management. Replaces paper based or Windows based processes. Easy and intuative to use - all modules operate in a similar way. Allows for easy gathering of evidence for accreditation purposes. Without it, this would be much harder to achieve.

**Official Response from Maria Aksiantsiuk:**

> Hi Wallis,

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review of Ideagen Quality Management. We’re glad to hear that the solution has been an essential part of your laboratory practices for over a decade, and that it simplifies quality and governance work while supporting accreditation needs effectively. It’s fantastic to know that your team values its intuitive design.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the training module and the web-based version. While we’re constantly working on enhancements, we understand how vital these features are to your workflow. We’re actively optimizing the desktop version to ensure a smoother experience for all users. Your insights help us prioritize developments to deliver solutions that meet your needs.

We value your long-term partnership and encourage you to reach out to our Support Team or your Account Manager if you have any questions or require assistance. Thank you again for sharing your experience - we’re committed to supporting your laboratory’s success.

  ### 2. Cloud Transition Slows Down an Otherwise Useful System

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

It has the facility to track staff training and skills, with the people module. It ensures all key documents are stored and accessible in the documents module.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The move to the cloud has made the system clunky and unwieldy. To upload documents to the people module, I have to wait 1 minute 43 seconds for the system to connect to our servers. This is an unacceptable length of time. Previously, verifying documents was a simple process of just inputting my password. Now, I have to enter my profile details including email address and password.
The web-based version, in my opinion, is of no use to me. Viewing documents is difficult, as the document opens in a small window. There is no ability to upload to the people module, so I will not be using this version.
Frankly, I do not see the move to the cloud as an upgrade.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a useful tool to store key documents and keep staff training and skills monitored.

**Official Response from Maria Aksiantsiuk:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're glad the People module for tracking staff training and skills, along with our Documents module, continues to provide value for your medical practice.
The connection time you're experiencing with document uploads is concerning and warrants immediate attention. We'd recommend raising a ticket with Ideagen Support at https://iqm-pro.help.ideagen.com/hc/en-gb/p/support and reaching out to your account manager, who will make this a priority to help get the speed issue resolved and discuss solutions for your authentication and web interface concerns.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this honest feedback and look forward to helping resolve these issues.
Kind regards,
The Ideagen Team

  ### 4. Disappointing Experience with the IQMS Web Version

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Once you understand how to navigate the client version it is easy and modules can be used for different things, e.g., the audit mmodule can be used to schedule reviews, assessments etc. I use the system almost everyday and although the client version looks quite dated it operates well within the parameters set.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

We have recently reviewed the web version of IQMS and was disappointed to find that not much had moved on since first assessing this in 2023. The functionality being offered does not match never mind make improvements from the client version and at a loss as to why Ideagen would promote this in its current state? Some of the issues we picked up are frustrating particularly as we spent a long time setting up our structure on the client, for this not to be the same in the web version. One of the main user functions for our organisation is to make searches easy, and the way it had been set up on the web version made searching impossible.
Customer service has been patchy, with lack of communication through to the other extreme where we have had excellent technical support and advise.
We are currently waiting on timelines from Ideagen for when they will be able to implement fixes required to address issues found and until then we cannt proceed any further with the web version which is disappointing especially as this is the second attempt to do this.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document control, audit and CAPA recording

**Official Response from Maria Aksiantsiuk:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback on the Ideagen Quality Management.

We are glad to hear that you like the flexibility and user-friendly interface of Ideagen Quality Management. Our goal is to ensure your experience is smooth, and we will keep you updated on our progress.

We are addressing the gap between the client and web versions and implementing measures to enhance customer service. Please be assured that timelines for fixes are being developed, and we're committed to meeting your expectations.

  ### 5. Quality Management

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I think one of the key fuctions of Ideagen Quality Management is the email reminders you get if dates are set in tasks or automatic dates for you to complete sections of a non-conformance report. The system will email you to remind you the task is due or overdue. This function is a great prompt to ensure that your Quality Management System does not become non compliant. The implementaion process was very good with regular Teams meetings to discuss what data we needed in the system with the Ideagen team building the databases for each module with clear instructions from us. The integration of the system was easy as training was also provided by Idagen via Teams with all the training sessions recorded and sent to us so that we could go back over the training or train new staff in the use of the system. The system has now been fully intergrated into the business and used daily as this covers a variety of processes crucial to the management of our EN 9100:2018 standard.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I think the customer support you get from Ideagen when you encounter an issue is incredibly poor, when you submit a ticket an AI system will look at key words in your question then send a load of article that "may" fix the issue. This type of support which is paid for in the annual renewal cost put the ownership of fixing the issue back onto the user.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen quality management system manages several key functions that are crucial to our continued approval to EN9100:2018, these functions are; our internal audit program, the non-conformance register, calibration through the asset module and service and maintenance of our machine tools. This system benefits us as it is all managed in one program so is standardised for ease of use and requires a lot less human resource to manage allowing key personel to focus on other areas of their job.

  ### 6. Inconsistent service and product offering

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kent S. | Director Of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Helps make ISO administartion and management easier.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Tool is not intuitive and since the Ideagen acquisition of the Qualtrax application support has suffered.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used the application to manage our ISO documentation, manage workflows for some internal quality processes, and for user testing on ISO work instructions.

**Official Response from Maria Aksiantsiuk:**

> Hi Kent,

  ### 7. Functionable, Bulky, Primitive.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The idea of a centralized QM system is a good idea, and Ideagen sometimes gets things right. Sharing of id numbers is easy; back up systesm for records is the main reason we chose it.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

1. Links sent by email are not helpful as they do not open up the document/workflow from the email, you have to login, copy paste the id and search it yourself.
2. The search function is the weakest search tool I have ever used.
it will show you every workflow that has a document listed first before the actual manual you need.
3. Personnel function takes minutes to load sometimes(dialup slow), and you can’t search by employee number, have to ask HR every time I need to look up an employee number from an audit; not cool during an actual audit trying to show the customer training files.
4. Training Matrix does not allow us to export to csv/excel, does not show graphs or the completion percentage for each station.
5. The approved vendors list: The AVL status will show approved even after the vendor expires, this can cause users to think a vendor is approved, but is not, causing us to be out of compliance if a vendor is used.
6. Corrective Action Requests.
A. The description of the finding does not appear in the Managers side once approved by QA and does not appear until the later phases of the workflow.
B. A visual map at the top showing status of the CAR would help Interested Parties who do not deal with CARs often (think Pizza Tracker like pizza hut/dominos).
C. the font size is infinitesimally small vs the available room on the page. Also, the fields move around from one phase to the next, Root cause is at top on one page, then drops down below making it hard to find when referencing for Corrective action response in the next phase.
8. CORRECTIVE ACTION COLUM: cannot sort from inbox by station/customer, must search every time you need specific CAR.... Jeez!
9. Audits vs CARs.
A. When cars are created in the audit workflow, it does not keep track of the Qualtrax Id of the cars; this is super frustrating when doing research or providing objective evidence to customers/FAA.
B. When the audit is complete, you cannot see any of the reports, documents, information about the audit anymore. A separate report must be run to see some of the data. If this data is gone, it may cause us to be out of compliance with records retention requirements.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Records requiremnts mainly, and accessable manuals, forms, et c.

  ### 8. System looks dated and overcomplicated

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Been able store documents and keep track revision dates/updates

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The process to upload and activate a document is overcomplicated.
16 Digit sign in has shown to be a major put off to using the system (webversion)
Cannot create links from sharepoint to qpulse successfully (Known fault by Qpulse)

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an area for documents to go but the process of getting them on there and having collegues wanting to use the system is a hard sell.

  ### 9. Ideagen is customizable and well suited for Document Management but overall not very user friendly.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I like how custabmizable the software is. It is great for all the documentation needed for ISO 9001 compliance. I like that workflows, training, and workflows can be built and documented within the software.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

The software is so detailed and has so many features that it is not intuitive to use. It has been a great challenge within our organization to get all employees to use the software and use it correctly because they have trouble using the software.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly maintaining ISO 9001 compliance by have documentation and records for work instructions, document control, training records, and corrective action documentation.

  ### 10. Documents and Management

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Its one stop place to keep all your documentation which is QMS controlled

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Not very user freindly. Very long winded and many clicks to get to where you need to be. Once documents are loaded and if you turn them into PDF's you can not return them to Word etc

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment it is being used to store information

  ### 11. Q-Pulse review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

I use it on a daily basis.
Easy to see Version Dates.
Great to have direct access to Support

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

In my opinion, not very user friendly. Takes a long time to figure issues out.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Direct access to documents

  ### 12. Limited and expensive QMS that I wouldn't recommend.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Limited user access (unless additional licenses are purchased).

**What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?**

Limited flexibility for data configuration - the manual is not complete which means I have had to email customer service and the responses basically just told me to consult the (incomplete) manual.

The modules also make it difficult to navigate and aren't practical.

**What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not solving problems.
