"Works perfectly for Classic Outlook but Classic Outlook only."
4/5
What do you like best about Ideagen Mail Manager?

Following feedback only applies to Classic Outlook:

Search function easy to use

Features in the search function make it easy to find exactly what you want

works seamlessly with everyday use in terms of filing emails.

easy to distribute and locate active user

customer support is quick to respond and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Mail Manager?

Mail Manager on new Outlook is terrible it simply does not work.

Not compatible with Mac users

auto-deallocation function is only there for show but it will be really useful to have this feature and remove any inactive users immediately

technical support is complicated and one ticket goes through multiple people. information on the issue always seems to be missed and needs to be re-explained. It was a long process to resolve.

Seems a bit pricy for a product that works only on one software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Tiffany,

Thank you for sharing your detailed review. It’s great to see you find the search function intuitive and efficient, and we’re glad the features make locating and filing emails straightforward. Hearing that our customer support has been helpful and responsive is also encouraging.

Thank you for your feedback regarding compatibility with New Outlook and Mac users. Addressing these limitations is a priority for us, and we’re pleased to share that enhancements for New Outlook integration are planned for the end of Q1 2025. We also appreciate your input on the auto-deallocation function and technical support process. We’ll review these areas to improve efficiency and streamline communication.

"Solid piece of software to help get the best out of Sharepoint"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideagen Mail Manager?

OnePlace is great at providing additional integration features for MS Office and SharePoint. We use the OnePlace Mail Outlook add-in every day to manage uploading emails to SharePoint. The few times i've had to deal with support I have found them responsive and easy to deal with. The platform is also flexible and can be easily adapted to your environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Mail Manager?

Some of the features in OnePlaceMail could be improved. The upload feature works very well but the ability to browse emails stored in SharePoint from within Outlook is not well implemented, rather than allowing you to browse using Outlook natively, it simply opens OnePlace within the Outlook window which reduces usability. Not a deal breaker by anymeans but could be a killer feature for us if implementation were better. We also at times experience a bug where the OnePlaceMail add-in stops working. This requires us to delete the OnePlaceMail config file for the Outlook add-in to work. A minor issue that is infrequent and easy to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"makes sharing and finding emails easier!"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideagen Mail Manager?

The ability to find an email from anyone in the company past or present so seamlesly. Once set up the folders work well to file. We all use this on a faily basis across the company. It works well as iuntegrated in our normal email platform so you do not need to do anything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Mail Manager?

On occasion the filing systems are slow and we need to restart the computer. Customer support could be a little better, when we have needed help it was a bit slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exactly what we were looking for"
4/5
What do you like best about Ideagen Mail Manager?

OnePlaceMail is exactly what we were looking for. Having recently switched our company file storage to SharePoint OneLine via MS365, we were looking for a tool that would quickly allow us to attach a file from this environment by email. OnePlaceMail meets this requirement exactly. We have added the saving of important emails for the company with exactly the same interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Mail Manager?

Eager to know the version compatible with the new MS365 platforms (new Outlook, new OWA, etc...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
