**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

I find Ideagen EHS to be a great all-in-one solution covering incident and hazard reporting, on-site logs, inductions, and training. It's easily adaptable to my needs, and I can create forms as new requirements arise. I also appreciate the dashboard for putting out information and statistics.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

It is a bit clunky and can be difficult to navigate through. We have a lot of issues with forms remaining in progress as mandatory fields are not always clearly marked.

Ideagen EHS covers incident and hazard reporting, onsite logs, inductions, and training.

Our team have been extremely critical of the new Ideagen and have asked us to review alternative systems. It is not as easy to navigate as previous Lucidity and too many clicks to get to the same point as previous.

It is very user friendly. The interface is easy to navigate and is pleasant. The customer support team that i have dealt with have always been very helpful and answered every question i had promptly and in a detailed manner. Integrating over from our previous form was simple and efficient.

There is no major drawbacks that i have found so far.

We now have all our required documentation required in one simple place. Each of our employees have their own login which can be accessed at any time.

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

From an end user perspective, the system isn't very complicated. It's pretty straightforward and user friendly

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

From a system admin perspective, I wish there was a little more of the aforementioned ease of use baked into the backend of the system. Things like "back and forth" between settings. For example, I can push a new calendar item from a corp level, but I can't recall it. The same applies to the BBS module and work areas or behaviors. Or if you transfer calendar ownership, it's corresponding task doesn't change

**Recommendations to others considering Ideagen EHS:**

Make sure you have a clear understanding of where you want to go and don't try to cram what you used to do into this system. Be willing to update processes

Simply put, helping us reimagine our system so we can get better data in, so we can get better data out.

The Gate Pass management feature is easily the best part. It turns a slow, paper-based task into a fast and simple digital process.
​The multi-level approval system is fantastic. It ensures the right people can review and approve requests quickly, which has greatly improved our site security and efficiency. Everything is tracked in one place, making it easy to manage.

Nothing as such. Implemention to go live and day to day operations very smooth

The Gate Pass feature is excellent. Its multi-level approval system makes managing site access fast and simple, which has greatly improved our security and operational efficiency.

The bi-weekly discussions with Caren Sifontes have been extremely helpful and allows me to maintain a relationship with our software vendor.  She is so knowledgeable about all aspects of our account, the program and what additional things we should and can be doing with the software.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Ease of integration and functionality issues.  Some areas are super easy to use and other areas, not so much.  I need up to date user training.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident Management.  Helping us track our corrective actions.  We have other modules but are not using them to the best of our ability.

I am sure there are upsides, and I truly would love to have something positive to say. I think if you are a growing organisation the plus for Lucidity would be that it appears that the subscription is not based on the number of users, rather just modules applied. It seems you can capture quite an amount of data.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

If you are looking for a very poor customer service then Ideagen is your go to.  The communication has been abhorrent, and my team and I feel that we are not being listened to. We are just a small, but growing, company and it feels like we are just the unimportant, irrelevant little folk. My team and I have had significantly better customer service with much lower annual cost software companies.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen Lucidity is currently creating me problems.  If you count angst as a benefit, then Ideagen Lucidity is successful.

In Root Causes - Incident module - the level 1 Root cause appears only in the drop down list, not in the incident report. And the audit module is not friendly, it could be more simple

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

The actual analytics tool(currently hosted by IBM Cognos) is powerful with a lot of great information. Additionally, the incident management module allows for a lot of customization that makes it easier to better define and report on incidents for locations.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

The entire learning management module. Have been with the system for just under a year and it has never once functioned as promised. Constant issues and open tickets and weeks or months to get anything fixed...and that's if they even try. Our favorite part is the entire lack of ownership (because they didn't build it, they farmed it out and bought it after the fact). They have yet to fix anything in the approved contractual time and issues have been nonstop since go live. No joke 85% of all issues, complaints and ongoing problems come from learners about this module and has been so bad it has killed engagement and usage for many locations. Customer support likes to point fingers, take forever to provide actual resolution(if it exists) or straight up tell us that how it was designed(Poorly, in many cases) with zero further discussion because they can't or won't fix it.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen centralizes and houses our Incidents, Audits and Chemical management while also trying to house and be our calendars and learning management. It allows for powerful analytics across multiple locations and centralizes everything for sites, regions and execs so we can see at a glance what is happening all over the country. Had we just relied on them for this aspect, it would have been fine. However, we also went with the learning management module which should not be housed and centralized with these other functional modules. Currently it has standardized our incident reporting and management with a shared chemical management library which our users appreciate, even though there is a bit of a steep learning curve at first.

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

The system is very easy to use, it has many different modules to choose from. Its nice that you can choose as little or as much as you want to use. Implementation went very smoothly, and the customer support during and after implementation is very good. The help desk and our customer success manager is very helpful and always three when we need something.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

They system needs some updates, especially on the dashboards.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started out with spreadsheet and hand written documents. Its nice that all our incidents are electronic. Creating and keeping track of our incidents is much easier and uploads directly to OSHA for 300 reporting is super easy and quick. We also use it for auding purposes that makes it all much easier and all the information is one spot.

The information regarding regulatory aspects for REACH, POP compliance is not updated for all components.

We tried for it compliance and supply chain risk assessment and it was not bad. We stopped using it due to the aforementioned reasons.

Ideagen EHS is slick at helping me keep track of incidents and safety audits wherever they take place within the company. It gives us visibility of what can go wrong and gives us time to do something when needed. Extremely useful are the proactive alerts and reminders with safety compliance, so that no deadlines, critical or not, are missed. I like that it helps to fulfill our company’s in general safety strategy through easy access to historical data for further decision making.

Ideagen EHS is a powerful tool, but it can be a bit difficult to make your way through when you need a specific data or incident history. Some features are buried away in the system and the next thing I need harder to access. In addition, there are times when the workflow is less predictable than expected and when coordinating tasks across departments. As you may begin to see a bit of frustration when trying to align everyone on safety actions.

The main value Ideagen EHS provides to us is to make our safety management more efficient. The process has become much faster since it has eliminated the need for manual incident tracking and reporting. In addition, it helps us to be in compliance so as to avoid legal issues. **What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

For tracking and managing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) metrics, Ideagen EHS’s comprehensive dashboard is very useful. This will give you a clear state of all activities and incidents to allow you see trends and what you should work on improving. And, in particular, there’s great strength in the incident management feature which allows quick reporting as well as quick resolution of the issues. The automated reporting tools also do help a lot by reporting the compliance and it saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Getting set up is an initial lengthy process that needs a lot of data input to work smoothly. The system itself can be a little slow at times, such as when you are utilizing the system for producing detailed reports. Other than that, the alerts and notifications can be customized a little bit more, to better fit the specific team workflows.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Ideagen EHS we gained a fragmented process for managing EHS compliance that not only involved multiple spreadsheets but with manual checks as well. All of that is centralized and automated. The risk of missing deadlines and no compliance issues is significantly lowered. This has given us the ability to see how we have countered the incidents in real time. Moreover, the automated reporting has alleviated the audit processes and will allow us to provide regulatory bodies evidence of compliance.

I love about Ideagen EHS is that you know that we're always on top of our compliance requirements. A lot of the repetitive work involved with tracking and updating compliance records is handled by the software and when it is nearing a deadline or an action must be taken it will send an automatic alert. With all of this stuff off our backs, everything is running smoother, and we’re not neglecting to do any important stuff.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

The drawback of using Ideagen EHS is that users cannot change the alerts and notice options easily. The included presets are great for most circumstances, but I’ve often wished that it was possible to tweak the frequency and detail of reminder. Currently, the system alerts the users when there aren’t many reminders to the extent that this interferes with the proper and efficient exchange of information, and the handling of tasks within the teams.

Ideagen EHS has helped us numerous in handling all kind of safety and environmental procedures. Before, we spent a lot of time manually tracking incident and compliance activity, and it was easy for something to slip through the cracks. We are more efficient and compliant, which has allowed us to become more strategic.

I love the detail that Ideagen EHS is able to provide in its safety workflows which fit industry standards. What I respect most about the way it ensures consistency across safety inspections and compliance processes. That also makes incident logging much simpler, as there are structured templates to make sure nothing crucial is missed. It’s been implemented with our training system so that staff are always updated with the latest procedures and has made adherence to safety protocols way more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Until now, a key issue has been that Ideagen EHS often doesn’t facilitate custom workflows, which can be restricting when requirements are outside of the usual compliance box. It has on occasion broken down into extra manual work bridging the gaps. We have not had extensive documentation to troubleshoot, and that has caused minor issues to carry on for longer than we want them to. These challenges have also forced us to develop some processes less strung up and have increased our workload at specific periods.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen EHS has completely revolutionised the way we manage health and safety through a proven compliance tracking system. It makes sure inspections and audits will be completely done and errors will not happen. Its major contribution has been centralizing all safety related data into one centralized repository thus solving the chaos of scattered documentation. It has also increased the effectiveness at the team level to be at the right place at the right time, at least in part because of the clear workflows and reminders.

Regarding Ideagen EHS, one of the things that strike me most is that it enables one to effectively keep everyone organized in terms of tracking of safety incidents and compliance records. Usefull for making sure everything related to health and safety is kept in one place and it’s great for audits and verifying regulatory checks. One thing they also do is have their built in task management which makes it easy to assign things to team members so I never forget anything important.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Ideagen EHS does a great job of organizing data, but its notification system is a bit stuck. It offers limited customization on what will trigger alerts sometimes so it doesn’t provide the right information at the right time. It has presented some challenges in resoncing to safety events at the speed and in the manner that is required. It could really add some flexibility to how we handle safety incidents if we had more flexible notification options.

By solving the manual problem of tracking safety incidents and compliance, Ideagen EHS has helped us to solve the tedious and error prone task. Once everything is in the system, we spend far less time looking for things, and of course much faster to act on things once we have the information. Our work has become even more efficient because the software is able to automate task assignments.

I like that Ideagen EHS can handle so much work in terms of environmental, health, and safety. It helps us manage risk and stay on top of regulations from incident tracking through compliance management. It’s super easy to track everything with the well organized reporting features. Plus, it integrates with the other tools we use, enabling us to work better across various systems without having to manually enter data.

In spite of the impressive features of Ideagen EHS, the setup is quite complicated at first. The system has to be customized to tune to our specific needs and the interface isn’t always the best for new users. Menus can contain some well hidden options, making it feel cumbersome to navigate. And then, of course, those cost may not be worth it for smaller companies or teams that don’t need all of the software features.

Ideagen EHS solves the main problem of handling complicated records of compliance and safety across disparate systems. Not much. I have used it for 12 years, and it just gets better and better with each new release.

I initially used this software when working for Shell because it provided a flexible and cost-effective platform. It was easy to administer. I then worked for Cargill, where I again recommended this software because they needed an integrated approach for an OHS system. Starting with training delivery, the opportunities grew as decision-makers realized the power ofand integration available from the system. Additional cost effeciencies were possible.

Simple integration of OHS activities including incident management, training and induction management, asset maintenance, access controls and so much more. Ideagen EHS is probably the best thing about real time data and incident management. Incidents can be easily tracked and safety conditions can be easily monitored across different locations, real time, in an easy format. Data sharing with our tools is incredibly easy through the integration, improving our ability to respond quickly when issues arise. We have already experienced major improvements to our overall team efficiency and ability to respond to safety concerns.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

The downfall of Ideagen EHS is that it is not easy to configure custom workflows. The system is very capable, but very time and effort intensive to tailor to our specific needs. It also works fine with other platforms but syncing problems are sometimes there that are making things slow. These are just minor inconveniences that interrupt the workflow if we have to make our reports or data up to date quickly.

We have drastically reduced challenges related to health and safety compliance with Ideagen EHS. This allows us to streamline our incident tracking and risk processes and protect us from noncompliance of regulatory standards. Also, the software helps to improve communication between departments since all safety related data is to be centralized. This has allowed us to operate much more efficient and less prone to error, which could result in compliance violations.

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

I like most about Ideagen EHS is its very advanced risk management functionality. It allows us to assess risks in a complete way helping us to maintain the workplace safe. The transparency coupled with compliance is delivered by the audit trails, which make logs of all activities. In addition, we are able to quickly view basic key performance metrics through customizable dashboards, informing the direction of our efforts to ensure we meet strong safety standards.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

The reporting in Ideagen EHS is pretty limiting, I’ve found. It gives me useful reports however they are not aligned exactly according to what we need so we end up to have to export the data and do extra analysis somewhere else. They could also slightly improve their search capabilities, where it is not as quick or intuitive to find the specific entries which can slightly affect our response time when we need to respond to an urgent task or something like that.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of organizing a full safety and compliance data and tracking it is defined by Ideagen EHS. Monitoring of incidents and tracking of our safety performance in real time allow us to monitor incident and ensure we are complying with regulations. It also enables us to spot risks before a major problem happens and get prevention treatment quickly enough to prevent accidents. As a result, we have been able to create a safer working environment for our people and to make bigger reductions to our risk and compliance costs.

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

Ideagen EHS is a smooth tool to hook up across various departments to boost safety and compliance tracking. Everything including incident reporting and audits are simplified, and they have some good data analytics themselves, but they’re even more powerful when integrated with some sort of back end tool like Power BI. The mobile app is another highlight as it allows our team to report issues, and take them as they come, whether we’re at home or not.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

The downside of Ideagen EHS is how complex the system can be when first implementing the system. It’s very customizable, but takes a lot of work to get set up and the learning curve isn’t that great for new users. The user interface recipe is functional, however it isn’t very intuitive which can slow adoption into the team. Additionally, some of the secondary reporting functions aren't exactly as flexible as we would like them to be, meaning that in order to pull specific data, it actually takes a little extra work.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing EHS data has made our risk management process far simpler with Ideagen EHS. Tracking compliance as well as incidents is much easier and will instead save us time while keeping the risk of overlooking safety risks to a minimum. In addition, the system’s rich reporting tools help the system assist us in finding patterns to make smarter, more proactive decisions that will help make safety and compliance better throughout the business as well.

**What do you like best about Ideagen EHS?**

The main strength of the Ideagen EHS solution is that it has robust audit and inspection management capabilities. These features enable us to apply the reports and determine areas of weakness and strength in providing safe consumer products fast. I also appreciate with option of reminding that do not allow one forget compliance deadlines. Document control tools have enabled us to properly store and quickly access important policies and has made the audit process way easier.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

However, Ideagan EHS does not allow its reporting templates to be customized. Although the system provides some really great data insights, generating reports specific to stakeholder needs can be time consuming. In addition, updates are known to be rarely up to date, leaving the bugs waiting in their fixes for much longer than this to get fixed. As a result, these processes such as sharing the findings with executives have become more complicated than they should be now.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Ideagen EHS, we’ve managed to reduce the time required for audits and inspection. It centralises all useful data so that regulatory checks are much easier to handle. We’ve managed to avoid penalties with automated reminders for compliance tasks and keep us on track. In addition, their analytics features have helped make workplace safety safer as they identify recurring issues and allow us to deal with potential issues very quickly.

Particularly, Ideagen EHS is the best tool in helping us managing compliance because of its in depth monitoring and report tools. It is easy to stay up with safety audits and incident tracking, so we will always meet all regulatory requirements. It connects to our ERP and we get real time updates to make sure everyone knows what’s happening. By reducing the time spend on compliance monitoring and increasing our control on risk management, we’ve obtained this centralized view.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

One downside of Ideagen EHS is that, although there are many customizable options, some feel strictly limited – especially when designing unique workflow or field options that fit our needs. What that means is, we’ve had to resort to workarounds that don’t always mesh perfectly, which means that we’ve had to add extra steps to some of the processes. This restriction has held us back on things that need special data fields or specific steps, so simple flexibility in templates would be great.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By utilizing Ideagen EHS, we have seen a drastic increase in how we manage compliance from tracking incidents, audits, and regulatory updates through a single platform. It consolidates the repetitive work and cuts down on the time spend on the same task and the chance to lose out on a compliance step. In having easy access to data we can act quickly on risks, which has helped to reinforce our safety measures. The alert features notifies us too as to remind us what inspection or audit day is.

There is so much that I like about Ideagen EHS and one of them is all the compliance and safety information that makes management easy. Its incidents and risk assessment tools allow us to manage compliance requirements effectively that with ease. Working together with the document management system, we can instantly transfer safety protocols to all the teams, while reporting has become more convenient because everybody is in the know of what is required of them with regard to compliance.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

One of the things that have not been easy with Ideagen EHS is that the platform here and there cannot be customized in a way that some companies require. The creation of reports or workflows that will be unique to the user might take time. Also, for some of the new users, some of the given features are not intuitive, which often leads to loss of time and creating the need to deploy more time for their training.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideagen EHS has made a positive difference to the enhancement of our compliance as well as our safety management. Its approach to incorporation of an automatic tracking of incidents and a centralized system of risk data enables us to effectively manage safety concerns and compliance with regulatory requirements much more effectively. The team now only addresses safety incidents with a higher level of precision, and the utilization of the platform has also increased the overall response time, in addition to increasing our organizational compliance.

Ideagen EHS is incredible at what it does in terms of managing EHS data as it covers so many aspects that are critical for us in this arena. The platform also has a user friendly design of the platform that improves upon tracking incidents and doing audits. I like that safety is always front and center as we integrate our project management systems seamlessly. This relationship helps to make our reporting faster, and ultimately makes our decision making more informed.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Ideagen EHS has one of its major drawbacks, the setup time can be quite excessive which requires a lot of customizing for our own requirements. This has added some frustration because this complexity has been one thing that can alienate team members that less familiar with technology. In addition, while the software offers plenty of features, some of them seem just shallow and some slow down time from time to time in order to make our work flow disrupted during the safety incidents.

With Ideagen EHS, we have definitely changed the way we manage health and safety compliance, much more simple both to document incidents and track corrective actions. We’ve been able to save a lot of time reporting, while also getting more communication about the procedures between team members due to centralizing our safety data. This software lets us identify the trends in safety problems thus allowing us to take proactive measures that have helped both increase workplace safety and boost the staff morale.

I like Ideagen EHS because it's probably one of the best aspects for centralising environmental, health and safety management. An easy to use compliance dashboard lays out compliance metrics and incident data right in front of you. I especially like how it works so well with our incident reporting platform so that our team is more effective at responding to safety issues. They make reporting tools so good we can generate very full and great insight quickly, which has been a great thing for us making our decisions.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Ideagen EHS feels complicated to users who aren’t accustomed to using its extensive functionality. The array of features is good, and while the set of features is good, it takes a lot of training to master that, and that has pushed our implementation timeline longer. But we had to spend extra time and money making sure everyone was trained the right way. Secondly, I’ve found that customer support can be a little slow sometimes responding when urgent issue comes up.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the toughest issues Ideagen EHS has helped us solve is how to manage compliance and safety reporting effectively. We struggled before adopting it with accurately tracking incidents and keeping complete records, and with this creating compliance risk. It now consolidates all the necessary data, so that safety metrics can be monitored more easily and quickly responded to in the event of an incident. This centralization has increased our efficiency while enabling the redirection of our focus to proactive safety methods to improve our organizational safety culture.

Lucidity is easy to use, is a "one-stop shop" system with all QHSE topics covered, and easy to implement while allowing a degree of tailoring to better suit the company's activities. Overall a great system that we use daily.

The KPI dashboard is not well detailed and requires exporting Lucidity raw data into another system to properly display and use all data. Also some minor frustrating things like the "filters' drop-down which do not automatically hide after filtering.

It integrates perfectly with our systems and to top it all off it is great value for the features available, especially compared to the 'big named players' with whom they need to compete.

The software is designed with a modular structure, making it easier for various user types to access the appropriate sections. The permission settings enable administrators to quickly and easily enable or disable features. After some initial training, the system becomes user-friendly and easy to navigate, even for basic users such as line-level leadership and managers. Additionally, the platform's customizable dashboards enhance communication and transparency. Over the past few years, it has significantly reduced duplicate and redundant reporting.

**What do you dislike about Ideagen EHS?**

Like any system, there are some limitations. Some users would prefer to see more detailed information broken down by specific sites, but implementing this would require significant effort without enough business justification. Additionally, infrequent users may find the system confusing and cumbersome, often forgetting where to locate or process data entry and reporting. While the interactive help feature mitigates this issue to some extent, it is sometimes overlooked.

**What problems is Ideagen EHS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our purposes we were looking for a system to centralize all of our Incident reporting and regulatory compliance needs. With ProcessMAP we were able to do just that. The record keeping and corrective actions sections also allow us to meet and exceed our ISO standards and requirements. During audits it is often brought up how the systems organization and presentation highlight the investigation and corrections of incidents.
