This isn’t a one-size-fits-all corporate system that’s been awkwardly retro-fitted to suit education. It understands the complexities of school environments—multiple stakeholders, duty of care responsibilities, ever-changing legislation, and the balance between operational demands and educational outcomes. Everything from the language used to the structure of policies, templates, and workflows feels relevant and usable. It aligns with how schools actually function. When you're dealing with risk management, child protection, excursions, or complaints handling, the system speaks our language and supports our processes rather than complicating them. It's been easy to implement and something that we frequently use. While we have had our challenges, this feature has been a massive time saver for us. This, in the context of the new aged care changes in 2025, has been of great benefit. Customer support is quite responsive and always keen to help out. We have used the main policy page as a common landing page for all of our links, to keep our access to policies front and centre for staff. Assurance is a generally good product, with a good form builder. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Policy Logic?** There is no effective integration between the CompliSpace products. The policy portal could be improved by the ability to assign policy owners and better manage internal reviews. Currently reviews of CompliSpace-provided policies can't be assigned review dates by policy owners. Some type of feature to manage this in Assurance would be beneficial. We don't use CompliLearn as we have found another product better placed for education in healthcare. Pricing models have been challenging for a stand alone site which operates in a unique model. The ability to contextualise policies has not been as straight forward as we had originally hoped. For example, changing the entry for one key in a policy might impact a range of other policies, where that same role might not be responsible. This can be a blessing (time saver) and a curse (where CompliSpace content doesn't match up with our processes, we need to create freeform versions, and then maintain the updates for these manually). More individualisation in this regard would save a lot of time. A lot of the focus in updates seems to have been on PolicyConnect at the moment, however it would be nice to see Assurance start receiving more attention/capabilities and modernisation. **What problems is Ideagen Policy Logic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were previously very challenged with policy management and it was difficult to get a full range of policies in place that were compliant. The full CompliSpace policy suite, particularly in the context of the vast changes to Aged Care, has been able to solve that problem for us. ### 4. Links to policies remain the same, even when you make updates to them. Able to publicly share policies via links. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Policy Logic?** Lack of customer support: Use to have an actual person to deal with and speak with, which was nice and helpful and it made the customer feel important. I was able to raise concerns with someone online (face to face) and have the matter resolved there and then, if urgent. Without that support, matters can take days or a couple of weeks to resolve. It's frustrating and be made to feel insignificant. Clunky software: Some of the modules that we have licences for are proving difficult to use and manage with each year that goes on. Policies that are stored on PolicyConnect are bulky (40% larger than what a policy on a Word Doc would look like), with large fonts unprofessional looking, unable to use school letterheads to look more appealing and can't make simple changes to policies to suite the school, because they are locked and I need to seek permission from Ideagen to get that done (which takes days). Lack of reporting flare: Unable to simply print a report for a risk register or checklist, or one that looks professional. It can only be downloaded in a PDF or excel, which is not professional. I was told that I need to download the excel and then format it in power BI to get the result that I'm after. If that's the case, I'm not sure why we pay for the product, but instead should just be using excel for free. I find it to be the most powerful form-builder (with features not found in Microsoft Forms etc.) and it does a great job of managing the data once it's in. Its integration with Power BI is also a massive plus for us - we pull huge amounts of data into that system in order to perform various analyses on it (what kinds of injuries do we see most often? Where are they occurring? How many staff have used PD this year, and what areas of development are most utilised?). I recommend it to people often. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Policy Logic?** The way users are set up in Assurance is a frustration (full/lite users). The cost of that platform considering its limitations in the user space can make it difficult to recommend for some businesses. Having workflow elements restricted behind 'full users' really limits how useful the software can be. **What problems is Ideagen Policy Logic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Complispace has been really useful in 'filling gaps' for us in our compliance processes. It's a fantastic way of creating systems to support good practice and acquire data - even when it comes to simple tasks. We use the forms a lot in Assurance, and provide links to people using QR Codes so that they can (for example) register at our front desk, or report an incident or hazard. ### 22. It all integrates together nicely so it makes managing this space easier. As a result, there is low friction when I am assigned courses to complete or policies to read. Also the team has been very easy to work with when it comes to implementing the services. I also appreciate the ease of integration, thanks to the Go1 API which allows us to provision users in advance before they log in with SSO, allowing the compliance officers to assign courses before they start. The support team is also knowledgeable about the products they support. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Policy Logic?** Occasionally when authenticating, the page attempts to redirect to a non-existent "oauth2/" URL/"site".
