**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William W. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Signing up and starting basic email campaigns is relatively easy. Though it helps, users don't have to have advanced computing or technical email knowledge to implement basic campaigns. We can import our existing contact lists and integrate them into new or existing campaigns. iContact has an abundance of email templates that can be edited with intuitive and uncomplicated editing features.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

The automation capabilities are good, but don't allow for as complete of a hands-off and self-adapting experience as in other email marketing applications.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iContact gives us web tools that provide a doorway into our organization. Website visitors and those that receive emails or read social media or blog posts can connect to our iContact forms and sign up for events, to receive learning resources or to get directly added to marketing lists. This allows us to regularly reach out to contacts that already have an interest in our company, products and services. Maintaining meaningful communications with our contacts has helped us to increase promotion inquiries and business development.

  ### 3. Great service for email marketing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wanda C. | Senior Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like that it offers the analytics that other e-marketing programs have, it has a very easy to use interface with a ton of useful features and a large database with helpful articles and webinars explaining all the features, it also has good tools for manage subscribers and classify them into groups for different purposes, I also like that it has a large number of content blocks available to create your own custom emails, I also love the simplicity of mailerlite and the easy to use templates and design blocks.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

There are some features that I think should be implemented, I would like to be able to deliver messages at the moment when users generally open the messages we send.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a fully functional email marketing software to provide clients with exponential campaigns, it has the best combination of ease of use, affordability and marketing power of all the platforms I have tried, it has also allowed me to manage my clients and the base. of contact data easily and efficiently, it also helps me save time and important resources, the ease of use has dramatically increased my production and greatly improved my workflow.

Sending large quantities of emails within a blink and managing their deliverability.

  ### 5. iContact is One of the Best Email Services Out There

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William W. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2017

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Our strategic advisor is really kind, funny, and very helpful for our email marketing needs. She goes over our account each month with us and takes the time to help us out and make sure we're understanding and doing everything correctly. I also really love their system, simple to use and effective. We can include and exclude lists to send an email to, schedule it in advance, and forget about it. We can also see the history of a contact - what they open and how many times. Their clicks, etc. This makes it so we can send to people who open our emails, ensuring we don't get blocked by the major email providers. They have excellent customer service!

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Sometimes sending and uploading lists can be a long process, but it is worth it to ensure you're sending to the right contacts. The HTML editor can be funky at times, but it is handy.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

There are a lot of advantages and customization in using iContact to get the most out of your email list! Excellent customer service - they're always there if you need help or suggestions. They can even help write your email or build it, make subject line suggestions, and analyze account metrics information. Good organization of your list and list hygiene as well.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to succeed at email marketing with iContact. Our emails don't get blocked by major service providers because through iContact, we can only send to people who open our emails, so we don't get marked as spam. Our open rates have increased, and complaints have gone down. We still see the same amount of response or even more through doing this!

  ### 6. The worst customer service ever

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

The finished product looks OK, not any better than Mailchimp or Constant Contact.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

The program is clunky and there's a known glitch that keeps the emails from going to social media, especially Facebook, which makes the emails much less effective. It takes a ridiculous amount of time for customer service to get back to you. I don't mean an hour. I mean days or weeks. Apparently they don't understand that these emails are time sensitive. They also send the response in a "noreply" email so you can't have a dialogue. I gave it three tries. They struck out.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More bounces than other programs. Hard to understand their reports, not enough information and I'm going back to Mailchimp

  ### 7. Dedicated email marketing and automation studio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rukmani D. | Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

The positive aspects of iContact are that it is simple to use, straightforward, and offers reasonable pricing for everything included in the subscription. Furthermore, their customer support team is also outstanding, and they are always prepared to go above and above to assist users.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Even though they just implemented a drag and drop-based email template creation option, the interface is not particularly intuitive and requires greater flexibility and smoother usability. Additionally, The price plan is expensive when a specific volume of email addresses is required; instead, they should consider offering bulk pricing plans.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The all-inclusive experience with iContact has been beneficial. With relative ease, it allows us to manage a vast volume of email addresses from customers and leads and send them regular updates, offers, and newsletters from our company. However, it is quite limited in terms of its drag and drop-based email template and landing page creation features.

**What do you like best about iContact?**

It's very easy to create eye-catching emails that create interest in our company

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I do wish we could have multiple logins so my business partner can be working on things at the same time I am

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to segment our contacts and send relevant emails to just those groupings, or send something to everyone at the same time. It's very easy to do target campaigns.

**Official Response from Hank Hoffmeier:**

> Thank you for the great review, Rita. By the way, you can have additional users, depending on your subscription. Let us know if we can help you with that.

  ### 12. iContact is a Must Have Email Marketing Automation Platform

Sending large volume of outbound marketing emails.

  ### 13. Best email marketing app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoj S. | SEO and Digital Marketing Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

It is easy to integrate and a good option for a follow-up email.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Integrating HTML design, someone messed up the output.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help us in managing email marketing automation.

  ### 14. Stay clear

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manu D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Comparable to other mailsending platforms.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Not very "on the ball" when it comes to new trends (like responsiveness).
Very customer-unfriendly. Will let the renewal date pass without notice (even if your account has been inactive for 6 months) and will bill your VISA for over 900 dollars. Don't give your credit card number to these people!

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

This company is not about giving a good service but about making as much money as possible. They don't care about customer satisfaction. We were customer for over 10 years but still they treated us like idiots when we had a problem with our account.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending newsletters for clients (I am the administrator).

  ### 15. Long time user!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurie P. | Executive Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Having used it for over 15 years now (!!) I am pretty familiar with it. iContact allows me to publish our weekly film newsletter in a fast, efficient way.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

It took a few years to identify and research any content issues that would not allow us to publish. We would be blocked for hours sometimes. I wish the system would highlight that content to find it easier. Otherwise, I have to hunt and peck through a ton of newsletter copy to find the offending link, etc. - and THEN I have to replace/remove it.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication. We are a non-profit with no budget and little revenue, and our job of keeping the film community connected has been critical to our region's growth. COVID has limited our access and activities, but our newsletter and related social links have been invaluable to keeping the lines of communication open.

  ### 16. Primarily a good experience; learning curve is moderate.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerome S. | Director of Public Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Designing e-newsletters. The number of templates is very helpful. I learn a lot when I have the time to tinker.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Limitations on image space. Space limits are not set high enough. I have upgraded, but now I have reached my image limit again. Unlimited image storage would be an improvement. Wish there was a way for the platform to automatically fit images to the proper and most optimum resolution. If I didn't have Photoshop, resizing would pose a problem, given storage limits.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending out weekly communications has been made easier through iContact. Learning more at each setting. Becoming much more productive. Performace has increased.

  ### 17. You can't rely on this tool.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Although simple to use, it is ineffective. It is not a reliable tool.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Worst customer service and too expensive in comparison to other tools and features.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to solve problems, but after a while, it began to cause new ones.

**Official Response from Hank Hoffmeier:**

> Thank you for your review. We would love to understand how you feel the platform is unreliable and about your concerns about our pricing. Our goal is to have an affordable, easy to use platform and any further information you can provide would help us.

  ### 18. iContact Overall Overview

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon G. | Senior CRM Specialist - Email Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like that iContact streamlines marketing through automation.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Mobile application do not offer all features available on the cloud service.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Yes.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending large volume of outbound emails.

Managing email deliverability.

  ### 19. User-friendly, very customizable broadcast email service - I highly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim J. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I have been a regular user of iContact for probably ten years now. I love how easy it is to create an email template, add graphics, including video links, and more. Very simple and intuitive, and I am not an html coder, just a basic business person. I have found iContact to be able to do everything I want it to do, including future-date emails, segment my lists, and more, and all at a very reasonable price point compared to other broadcast email providers I have researched.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Nothing comes to mind, honestly. I will continue to use iContact for as long as I continue in business.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to drive readership to my weekly column, and I found iContact the best way to drive awareness and increase my readership subscription count.

  ### 20. Simple, intuitive platform for non-profits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele G. | co-founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

IContact has a simple interface and nice selection of templates. Their knowledge base is easy to access, and the tech support is helpful and affirming. The functioning is intuitive, and we've rarely run into complications with our monthly use.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Wish there was more flexibility to adjust for Outlook quirks.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

I recommend non-profits examine their external communications requirements and determine if a simple, intuitive platform would meet their needs. Now with new constraints in email deliverability and lead attribution, a simple method of staying in touch with those who opt in to our messaging is critical.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We communicate each month with our alumni volunteers, and have published program updates during the pandemic. We're able to publish special announcements for various departments with ease and confidence.

  ### 21. Easy and dependable!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch E. | A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Being able to customize mass emails on the fly is great. Having a platform to quickly personalize emails to be sent out to our teams and prospects is a huge plus. Generally, mass emails can come across as ingenuine or scam-y. iContact makes our emails significantly more personal and professional.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

No integration with our guest list system means anyone who unsubscribes from our mailing lists needs to be removed from our end manually.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Filter your email account so all "user has unsubscribed" emails can be followed up with or closed out on your end, if you use a separate system for prospect/guest management and/or communication.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest issue was finding a happy medium between personalized emails and your general mass emails. iContact has provided that happy medium to us, so now, we use it almost every day.

  ### 22. Great For Super Small Groups/Businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natali H. | Owner & Creative Troublemaker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Their Drag and Drop format makes it super easy for anyone to use without having to rely on a designer or marketing creative.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

There can always be more options to customize.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

They have a free account available for up to 500 contacts, I highly recommend you set up an account and play around with it a bit.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to easily set up and run email marketing without having to spend hours on it. It definitely saves me time and energy. I can even hand it off to an assistant to do as it's super intuitive.

  ### 23. At my job, it’s buggy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

It seems as if it would be fairly easy to use if all of the functions were open. In my current position, we only use it for outgoing contacts and switching aux statuses.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

It's really buggy. Everyday it automatically logs out at least once or has trouble shifting from one state to the next. I also don't like that it doesn't show you the times your were into each aux.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't honestly say I'm solving a problem. It's more of a required resource to complete my required job duties. Now it does allow me to make calls long distance without prefixes.

  ### 24. Very Easy to use and always updates some new features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like more to create a new template as per our marketing purpose. Also, it has many templates that can us on different occasions.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I dislike the slow updates on their website which some of the features are old and need to be new (like memes and others...)

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved lots of problems regarding customers' disapproved or do not contact issues.

  ### 25. iContact is a great email provider for our company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2016

**What do you like best about iContact?**

My company uses iContact at least twice a month to send emails to our customer base. We love the metrics that iContact provides. The metrics are great to share with our regionals and makes them clean up their lists when they see who bounces.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I really have nothing negative to say about iContact. They provide a great service.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

If you want an easy email provider to work with, iContact should be your choice.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iContact allows us to achieve two touchpoints throughout the month to our customer lists. We want to stay in front of our customer is the latest news about products and iContact achieves that goal for us.

  ### 26. Middle of the road solution

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2019

**What do you like best about iContact?**

It gets the job done. If you're looking for 'just the basics', iContact is right for you. It does what you need it to do, but lacks the bells and whistles other platforms offer. For a simple and easy-to-use solution, iContact may be the perfect solution.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

There are some real areas of opportunity for iContact. From a design perspective, it's difficult and cumbersome to design emails if you're not a graphic designer (not easy to plug-and-play). List management is not intuitive or easy to manage (compared with other platforms). Analytics for delivery are less than industry average, which may indicate that it's getting stuck in pesky spam filters. The design capabilities are a bit limited, somewhat handicapping design creativity.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

It gets the job done. Not as easily as you may like. Not as quickly as you may like (the learning curve is a bit steep). List management is not easy to slice and dice, but it's doable. In short: iContact absolutely gets you there, but won't be the slickest, fastest, most streamlined way to go about it.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Event invitation, firm-wide promotion and sharing of news, external email campaigns, etc.

  ### 27. I love Icontact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Support L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

The ability to create messages that are colorful and professional.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Ability to print created emails once I have completed and sent out

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

I would highly recommend

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems that have been solved with Icontact is I dont have to send out individual emails, I can create and choose groups. I realize the biggest benefit based on our company needs is it is user friendly and easy to train others to use.

  ### 28. Rock Solid

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick R. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

The interface is extremely well thought out, easy to navigate, and reliable.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Would be great if unused resources could be carried over to the next period.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Avoid "blind" contacts at all costs. These are at best, money leaks.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By far the biggest problem that iContact solves is the risk associated with conducting email-based business activity on the internet. Overzealous anti-spam systems and ISP "cops" were making it impossible to attempt any email-based marketing before we found iContact.

  ### 29. Easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2017

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like how you can easily create emails on it, using pre-made templates. It was very easy to utilize and send out emails with, I also like how it ties into salesforce, so you can keep all of your emails in one place.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I dislike how sometimes when I needed to hyperlink something, it would change the color of my font and it took me about 8 tries to get it how I wanted it to be. Sometimes the formatting got messed up very easily.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

I would use a much more advanced email software over this. It is kind of annoying to work with. It's easy but can be annoying.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used this to get customers known about products and promotions that we had at a previous company. I sent emails out through it , and looked at data on who was opening and not opening.

  ### 30. A Solid Email Campaign Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

iContact offers a knowledgeable staff that will assist you with setup, any issues, concerns etc. The system is relatively easy to use and executes easily.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I feel that iContact could simplify the software to make it easier for novice users. There is a small amount of ramp-up time to learn how to use it thoroughly and seamlessly. The pricing model is high for startups and small businesses making it difficult for them to purchase a monthly subscription on an ongoing basis. Other software is more competitively priced and has a shorter ramp-up time. They do offer a free account; however, it's very limited in how many contacts you can send to each month.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software checks off many boxes; we can create newsletters, coupons, and landing pages quickly. It has saved us time when creating new creative copy for prospects and current clients.

  ### 31. Value to Price Ratio is Best In Market

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William P. | Public Affairs Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

iContact offers a suite of easy to use tools on their web-based platform that allows me to efficiently create distribute newsletters to my valued stakeholders. The functionality is intuitive. Anyone with limited tech.-savvy can easily use iContact!

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I don't like the "review" process after I select to send out my newsletters. I've already done the due diligence to ensure that my list meets compliance standards, and iContact's review of my project only delays the delivery time to my stakeholders. I would like an option to check whether or not I want the project reviewed.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Give it a try, and I think you'll find it a value-add for your organization.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our internal stakeholder engagement levels have increased markedly since we started using iContact. Employee engagement through transparency builds trust and loyalty; iContact is helping our organization achieve that through improved communications.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Hello William and thank you very much for your feedback of iContact, its wonderful to hear that you find our email marketing tools to be useful and easy to use. The information that you have provided here is very helpful and ensures that we continue to deliver the best software possible.

  ### 32. Effective and Simple to Use

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like the simplicity of checking the reports concerning openings and clicks of the newsletter sent.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I want to be able to modify a newsletter after I have scheduled its release.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IContact newsletters are an effective communication tool to send announcements and links to educational videos and articles.

It's very user friendly. Lots of different templates make it easy to send out newsletters.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

No downsides at all. Everything works perfectly.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

I tried several email programs but this was my favorite!

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 37. Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** laura w. | Publisher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

To be honest, when i started Cozumel 4 You 10 years ago, I made it all up as I went along. Icontact's staff helped me alot, it was a steep learning curve learning to create a newspaper, and their staff was always availbale

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

There's built in spam filters, and one time I was trying to send an email that was really "heavy" and although they tried, there was no way for the staff to override the block. They did give me a work-around though

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I looked at other platforms, and this is by far my favorite. I like their reports, how they are clear and easy to read

  ### 38. IContact is very effective and Versatile with user-friendly Email Marketing Platform for Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujon R. | Commercial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I have a small business of handmade terracotta tiles. Due to the current Covid-19 we have a lockdown here. Every day the crisis of Karnavira is increasing and decreasing again. This is why we are moving away from our customers and clients. One of my clients speaks of "Icontact" in this situation. We are currently very happy using it.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Every software has its pros and cons. But already we have used many types of software. But I have never seen such a comfortable and user-friendly one. So I want to give the "Icontact" 100/100 mark.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

All I can say to my customers and clients is that they should use this platform. Already several of my customers are using it. They are benefiting from using it. I'm hopeful that whoever uses it will succeed. Above all, I wish "Icontact" continued prosperity.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Contact, I can start any campaign very quickly and get in touch with my clients by sending them emails. It's through the whole web. Just like I wanted. Already has created a similar template on their site. With this template, I can set up beautiful emails and send any mail to my customers and clients.

  ### 39. I Love I contact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren W. | Geriatric Care Manager Certified, Consumer Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Great customer support and I like supporting local.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Only that I have to upgrade to new format.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing clients with information, knowledge about elder care issues.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Thank you for your wonderful feedback Lauren.

  ### 40. Best for business accounts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Dedicated business account support that's fairly responsive. Ability to pause account if dormant for one month or more. Reliable. Better reporting in new release. Easy to switch between multiple client accounts.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Test messages don't always appear as per preview. Not enough templates and templates that are there are too US focussed.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to manage accounts for multiple clients and have an affordable email marketing solution for larger volumes of data.

  ### 41. Solid performance with some annoyances

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

iContact is full service email blast company but they offer the service at a lower cost. The available stock images are solid, and the graphics editing tool get most average jobs done. It has good basic tools for checking spelling. It has a built in spam checker. You can send test messages. I have been able to create all the segments I need to target just the residents I need. There are preview options for mobile, and computer which are relatively accurate.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

They have a resign up rule that doesn't make sense and blocks legit requests. They have an upsell, "increase your limits" banner that shows too soon. It is lacking "wrap around" option for images. It is lacking ability to handle clear back ground images. The file library could be more generous. It's only 10 meg, and hasn't increased even though we have moved up in our limits. On some holidays they post that they won't have any customer support available by phone and to only submit e-mails.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

There are a couple of design features that are limiting in iContact. Be sure you don't need them. If people unsubscribe, they can't resubscribe without contacting iContact customer service. That is a major flaw.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email is running smoothly and our residents / customers are happy with the communication. People are obtaining the information they need in a timely way. We have increased our number of contact from 7000 to nearly 20,000 contacts. It takes constant work, but our growth is steady. The response and feedback are clear indications that we are meeting the needs of our residents / customers.

  ### 42. Icontact is a new wave for emails!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Really like the features ad self-help of this portal and set up. It is user-friendly even for first-timers. Their support is excellent!

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

It would be nice if there were more templates to choose from. Themes then can choose a new theme for each email blast. Themes exist but could use more options.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the ope in feature, especially when using a few send from email addresses. Learning how this works is slightly challenging.

  ### 43. It changes the rules of the game putting everything in our favor to do email marketing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

iContact is an easy-to-use tool with a spotless and friendly interface that has powerful tools that greatly facilitate our email marketing management and customer channeling. Of the capabilities to highlight this tool is the integration it has with social networks, the ease with which I can create email marketing campaigns and run them, the generation of custom reports, among others.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

The only thing I have seen and considered that needs improvement is the segmentation functions. Otherwise, it meets my expectations.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

It is one of the best email marketing tools on the market because of its wide range of functions, its ability to integrate with other tools and take better advantage of its parts, its price, and its excellent customer service and support team. I recommend it.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iContact is an email marketing tool that has brought nothing but benefits; its incredible selection of tools makes everything easier and saves significant time while performing excellent email marketing campaigns and channeling new customers. It is competitively priced, and the implementation of the service has allowed us to have personal consultants to help us create effective marketing strategies.

  ### 44. Great Customer Service & Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2018

**What do you like best about iContact?**

Whether I call or email, I always get a response. They are so easy to work with. The best support I've ever seen with a software company.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I've never had one bad encounter with this company and I've been working with them for 10 years and have recommended them to multiple clients.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

I always recommend iContact and have been using them for 10 years. I just started using their services for my own private use as well.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer email marketing to our clients and are able to use iContact to manage all our clients...that's phenomenal. I have all my email clients in one corporate account on iContact. They each have their own account, private access, etc. but I can manage them all in one place.

  ### 45. Love iContact

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like the salesforce integration. It makes it easy to set up campaigns and view results.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

The salesforce integration is a little glitchy/tricky at first and you kind of have to do a few workaround things, but once you figure out how to do that then setting up and sending campaigns is easy.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

iContact is a user-friendly tool for email campaigns, though if you're using the Salesforce integration then you'll need to have some additional training/coaching to get it up and running seamlessly.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're not really solving any problems with it, but I am able to send over open/click analytics to my sales team super fast.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Hello Sarah and thank you very much for taking the time to leave this wonderful video feedback. The information that you have provided is appreciated and valued.

  ### 46. Great Email solution, with some drawbacks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** D S. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about iContact?**

The ROI on this solution is easy to attain. The cost structure of their program is very straightforward and lends itself to a larger volume that hasn't quite hit enterprise level.
If you are in a hurry, their pre-created emails will work nicely in a pinch and their basic templates give a great starting point.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

The templates available are quite limited. However, with a few trained associates in HTML creation, this becomes a non issue. There is also a very limited asset upload available without additional cost which is a shame. It is very easy to max out your assets on your plan. Combined with the fact that at the max level, you can no longer increase the asset retention, there is much wasted time "tidying up" the files. We have also found that some of the templates will appear as if broken into segments so always send a test prior to publishing.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

If you are willing to do a little additional work with your email solution, iContact can definitely be a good fit for your company. The lower cost allows for a quicker ROI and can allow for additional deployments. Although it may be a bit difficult for a novice the first time, the learning curve is fairly short and the cost is minimal to start. Certainly much more robust items out there but give it a try and you will see it is a great option.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a program to continuously keep our products and brands in front of our customers. IContact makes this process clean and quick. Reporting allows for A/B testing with virtually real time responses on open rate down to the user level.

  ### 47. Easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim H. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

easy to update contact lists, export when needed. like the ability to add contacts one at a time when needed, or can upload an entire list at once and add them to multiple contact lists at the same time for more targeted emails. Easy to schedule, change or update emails as needed. Once templates are created, it's easy to re-use and update those templates to send re-occurring emails monthly and weekly.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Templates to create within Icontact can be tricky, either way too many graphics or very plain. When I have chosen pre-made versions within IContact, those never seem to send correctly and you cannot see much of the background pictures or graphics, so I have had to alter them quite a bit to make them look normal when sending. Also have had issues with templates showing different than in the previews for different types of screens, like mobile it seems to show very different than it shows in the preview window before it is scheduled. Recently updated some of our templates and there was a glitch that it would not let me type out the HEX color code. I found a way around it by clicking on another section that used that color, then it pops up in the previously used.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Easy to use, works for what we need.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits realized would be having separate send lists, and being able to export the lists to update them every few months. Not any problems, but did make it easier for re-occuring emails that can be customized to come from certain team members for their specific areas, no make the emails more custom, and then I don't have to have them coded.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback Kim, this information is valuable and important to us.

  ### 48. iContact for the long haul

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | Speaker, Trainer, Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I like how easy it is to create, edit and schedule my emails out to my followers. From start to finish I can get a quality email out in five-ten minutes. The analytics that are provided help me personalize how I communicate with my community. I don't use the templates as much, but scanning them gives me ideas. I have used iContact for over 10 years. I started when I only had about 50 people on my list. Now my list is over 8,000. My followers have consistency and creativity with my message. My brand is stronger because of iContact.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

Overall, not too much. Anything I want to do I have to take the time to learn how to do it. I wish I just knew, but I don't. Tons of tutorials.
It is a benefit that I do not have too much to say for this part. Keep doing what you are doing and others will start moving your way.
Maybe it takes me a while to go through the tutorials in order to learn the next new thing. Isn't that what everyone has to do? It is what it is.

**Recommendations to others considering iContact:**

Don't wait! Just get started. I have used iContact for over 10 years. I started when I only had about 50 people on my list. Now my list is over 8,000. My followers have consistency and creativity with my message. My brand is stronger because of iContact.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping my followers up to date with what my business is doing and how I can best serve them.
Providing consistency and automation of my message so I can do it once and not worry about it ever again.
Learning how to become a better communicator and using words that connect best with my community.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Hello Steven and thank you very much for taking the time to leave this wonderful and detailed feedback for us, it's a pleasure to hear from a long time customer such as yourself.

  ### 49. Perfect for our growing university department!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kori H. | PPE Program Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about iContact?**

I love how easy it is to update contacts! We have a lot of turnover in our department, so being able to update names and contact information easily is so necessary. I also love that it's easy to import photos and edit them, so the images can really pop in my emails. I also really appreciate how I get warnings when links aren't working, so I can prevent any issues with the users' being unable to access our content.

**What do you dislike about iContact?**

I'd say formatting can be tricky in the actual composition blocks. It's hard to copy/paste and expect the formatting to stay the same, so better features in the writing blocks would be fantastic! And more templates to choose from would be amazing. I also wish that there were more features for graphics and video embedding. It would be great to have lots of options for visuals in my email blasts.

**What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Outreach has been a challenge for us, so getting to know what the clicks are, what is being responded to, and what people are enjoying from our mailings has been a good way into the mind of our userbase.

The biggest benefit is getting to see the effects of our emails in numbers (click-throughs, opened emails, bouncing, etc.) It's really important for us to know what's happening with our communication, so I appreciate seeing the exhaustive charts and figures over time.

**Official Response from Carlos Petersen:**

> Hello Kori and thank you for taking the time to leave this in depth feedback for us, it's wonderful to hear about your experience with iContact and the information you have provided is valuable.
