"Iconosquare is the best way to track analytics for Instagram."

What do you like best about Iconosquare?

I love how detailed the analytics are. It makes it so easy to find all of the information we need to keep track of how our page is performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iconosquare?

This is more of a dislike of Instagram, but I initially thought we could schedule Stories through Iconosquare and that was one of the reasons we chose it. I was disappointed to find out that this was impossible, but that's not Iconosquare's fault. I would love it if this could become a feature in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the moment you can schedule Instagram stories via Iconosquare but they must be manually inputted. We're always looking to improve at Iconosquare and we'd love to implement this as one of our auto-posting features in the future.

"Complete tool for all social media analytics"

What do you like best about Iconosquare?

Iconosquare offers connections to five major social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and TikTok. We started using Iconosquare to schedule our Instagram posts and download our Instagram analytics, but in recent years have been using it more as an overall analytics tool for our social media. It offers easy statistics and insights for editors as well as the option to download Instagram and Facebook data in XLS form, which is great for me as a data analyst. Iconosquare keeps developing new functionalities as well as adding more platforms to connect, and always gives an update on login explaining the new features. What do you dislike about Iconosquare?

We were on a non-profit discount rate, but when we wanted to add a fourth social media profile to our plan, we had to upgrade to a business account + 1 extra profile. This increased our costs significantly (it more than doubled). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Iconosquare:

Be aware of the following limitations: Iconosquare stops collecting data for Twitter after 2 days, while sometimes tweets will gain some more impressions after that if they go viral. Within the PRO account, Iconosquare does not differentiate between regular posts and boosted/sponsored posts. You might still need to log in to the platforms themselves occasionally to gather these statistics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Iconosquare solving and how is that benefiting you?

When we have troubles with logging in, technical issues with collecting the correct data, or need explanations on how to interpret the graphs, we simply click on the 'help' button and start a chat with an employee. They usually answer very quickly: the same day or within 24 hours. If they answer at a time we are out of office, the message will also be sent to our mailbox, so we don't miss their response. What do you like best about Iconosquare?

Easy to use, streamlined analytics, IG/FB/TT all in one place. It is super user friendly and I didn't have to spend a bunch of time on the platform learning how to do things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iconosquare?

Not a ton, the only thing I would say is some of the insights don't get super in-depth in iconosquare. Paid and organic are sometimes grouped together and we have had to figure out a way to separate them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Iconosquare?

I first started using Iconosquare some time back in 2016. I've always found the "Listening" tools very insightful.

I'm able to see the benchmark for my market and also compare what my competitors are doing.

This gives me fantastic data points to make strategic decisions for my social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iconosquare?

The downside to Iconosquare is that it's quite pricey. However, the price justifies the value that you'll be getting.

Another area for improvement would be the user experience. It would be helpful to state how long it will take for the reports to be generated.

When I did a competitive analysis, I was under the impression that it will take a few minutes or an hour max for it to be generated. However, it took about 24 hours for the report to be ready and reflected on the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Social media analytics made simple"

What do you like best about Iconosquare?

Iconosquare has a slick user interface and provides a meaningful amount of social media insights via their reporting/analytics functionality. They also support TikTok analytics which most other tools don't yet.

I mostly use the tool for analytics but they have a very good social scheduler that is especially well suited to visual social networks like IG and Facebook.

They also have a bunch of IG specific features such as hashtag lists which come in very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iconosquare?

It would be nice to see their conversations feature support Twitter but I understand real-time mentions/messages are tricky because of the price Twitter charges for it's API. Also, it would be nice to see LinkedIn support for their PDF/XLS report feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
