The storage gateway feature to allow tracking of assets in both cloud and on premise locations is a great feature that I use. Sharing assets and collections out to non-Iconik is easy on both ends. Customizable metadata filters are great. Taking screenshots is quick and easy. Fast response times from Iconik Support Team. Price of Iconik is very resonable compared to other options out there. Definitely on the more cost effective end. Easy API Integration into many other products. Overall east of use from a user perspective. **What do you dislike about iconik?** Needs live ingest of assets. Needs a basic editing tool to cut together different assets. More AI integration for faces and logo's. Deletion process could be easier when deleting file types within an asset from multiple assets. **What problems is iconik solving and how is that benefiting you?** For being a startup company, Iconik is providing us with a great MAM at a great price. Having the ability to have our assets tracked in the cloud and on prem is a huge help for our editors. Storage Gateways are also allowing us to upload footage during a live sports broadcast to Iconik so that our editors can get to them remotely. We have editors and users all over the country. ### 2. The intuitive search functionality, AI tagging, and metadata handling save us significant time. Its scalability and support for hybrid storage make it an excellent long-term solution. **What do you dislike about iconik?** While powerful, iconik’s advanced features can present a learning curve for new users. Additionally, integration with certain legacy systems requires custom workarounds, which can be resource-intensive during implementation. **What problems is iconik solving and how is that benefiting you?** iconik is solving the challenge of centralized media asset management across distributed teams, especially for organizations heavily using Adobe Creative Cloud. By integrating seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, iconik enables our creative teams to search, preview, and import assets directly within their editing environments. This reduces time spent switching between platforms, minimizes version control issues, and improves overall collaboration, resulting in faster project turnaround and more efficient creative workflows. ### 3. The search actually works the way you expect, and I don’t have to dig through endless folders. Being able to preview files without downloading them saves me so much time. **What do you dislike about iconik?** Sometimes it can feel a bit slow when loading really big files or large collections. It’s not a huge problem, but there are moments where I wish it was just a little snappier. **What problems is iconik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Iconik, finding the right file meant digging through endless folders or bugging teammates to send links. Now everything’s in one place, searchable, and easy to preview or share. It’s cut out a lot of wasted time and stopped us from accidentally using the wrong version of something. ### 4. While I prefer Iconik over CatDV, the CatDV remote query is how search should work. You pick a field (or fields) that you want to search and then you type in your keywords. No syntax, code, etc. It's very user friendly and quick to search huge numbers of files. If your metadata is solid you should be able to find things quickly. **What problems is iconik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to scan millions of files is great. I'm still struggling with the search function though (see previous comments). ### 5. Instead of wasting time digging through different drives or platforms, everything is centralized, searchable, and easy to share. For me, that means faster workflows, less back-and-forth with teammates, and more time focusing on creative work instead of file management. The AI tagging also reduces the manual effort of organizing content, which saves hours every week ### 6.
