Company background: iCommunify was founded in 2023 as a "for students, by students" initiative to solve the fragmented tools problem on college campuses. Based in Palo Alto, CA, US, the platform launched at Northeastern University in early 2024 and now serves students at universities across the US and Canada, including Boston University, Harvard, Stanford, UC Davis, and University of Toronto. The platform is free for students and student organizations, with paid packages available for employers. Key features and functionality: iCommunify combines club management, event ticketing, membership tracking, and a student job board in one platform. Student leaders can create organizations, manage member rosters, publish events, sell tickets with promo codes, track attendance with QR code check-in, collect membership fees via Stripe, and co-host events with other clubs across universities. For employers, iCommunify Jobs offers branded job posts, optional video descriptions, direct candidate messaging, and applicant review dashboards. For colleges, Student Affairs teams get campus-wide visibility into student organizations and event activity. The platform is available on iOS, Android, and web. Primary value: iCommunify replaces the patchwork of spreadsheets, group chats, and separate event tools that most student organizations rely on. Students get one app to discover clubs, RSVP to events, manage memberships, and find campus jobs. Club leaders save time on admin work so they can focus on building their community. Employers reach students based on actual campus involvement, not just resumes.
