You can use them to run impromptu polls in locations where mobile devices are inappropriate. (shops etc.) **What do you dislike about iClicker?** In the past there was a challenge to keep users up to date on which version of the software to use. This may be more of a legacy issue though as I believe it self updates for the most part now. It is also harder to justify the expense when there are free polling platforms available and tools such as Slido. **What problems is iClicker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Remote poll and question response in locations where cellphone use is inappropriate or unreliable. With the radio frequency clickers you can use them without internet access. ### 2. If the technology is implemented properly, it can provide a smooth experience for the end user. However, in my experience, the technology is often implemented by executives and or higher level instructors who tend to be older and less tech-capable. **What do you dislike about iClicker?** The technology is expensive and updates are less frequent because of the physical component. There are so many competing technologies on the market that are purely software based that offer better support, cheaper introductory prices, and clearer user interfaces for technology-challenged users. **Recommendations to others considering iClicker:** The most important consideration is weighing the actual price of the devices with the amount of data they capture. This is the best ratio to use when comparing this product with competing software-only products. **What problems is iClicker solving and how is that benefiting you?** iClicker help to capture data from large audiences in real time.
