I had no previous experience using an HRIS previously & was able to very quickly adapt to the role of being a system administrator. In the time since, I have been impressed with additional releases & improvements to certain sections of the system. For example, formatting issues using the Offer module makes it difficult to create professional-looking legal documentation as well as to onboard our team to this new process. File library limit - ISIMS is trying to increase the number of files we are allotted. 500 is too few as this number includes files, branding, images from iforms, iforms, as well as signatures in the form of images for the offer module. I believe improvements to the Offer module will be the most beneficial. This will prevent ICIMS users from using another system to generate & send offers. Limitations with signatures need to be addressed and multilevel numbering needs to be available. ICIMS has also given us the ability to configure our own iforms - this has increased our efficiency. A clunky interface, TERRIBLE customer support who respond back with a rubbish answer in order to meet their SLA and then take days to come back with an actual answer to your question. Account Success Managers that leave the company every 6 months without letting you know and without providing any handover, Very US focused. Whilst good for permanent recruitment, less good for contract/agency work. CRM element to it is rubbish. Don't think abiout trying to move to another system after you've been here for a while - I am trying to migrate but they are making the process as hard as possible, with limited data backups and zero support with trying to understand the data model. After transitioning from ADPRM to iCIMS, I like the reliability of the platform best of all. Although not perfect, the system has less outages and error messages than other systems I have used for recruiting. In comparison, the system is much more user friendly with profile information dislayed in a manner that makes it possible to move faster through each workflow . For full cycle recruiting, you have all the phases of talent acquisitions in one place, which allows for faster onboarding and offer extension. System alerts, and updates are deliverd to your inbox in a timely manner which eliminares the need to research each step of the process. When searching for information for a specific applicant , or, trying to locate inhouse emails to send feedback forms- the system can be very slow and oftentimes there is a delay in getting the proper hiring managers email address. This needs to be resolved as it creates a abit of frustration when trying to move through the interview process and ensure the proper documnetation is completed. To be fair, the system was set up prior to my coming aboard, and there are workarounds, but if you don't live in the data every day, there are challenges in getting the data you want in the way that you want it. CONFIGURABILITY: The iCIMS Talent Cloud is extremely configurable to meet the needs of many organizations. Their core ATS can be as simple or complex, as needed, and can satisfy multi-lingual, multi-branded, and multi-regional organizations. REPORTABILITY: The core suite that was built by iCIMS (ATS, Onboard, Offer Management) is extremely reportable and therefore has the capability to measure business and team success quite easily. Dashboards can be built to not only drive daily actions, but also help recruiters to meet SLAs and work towards defined key metrics. CONNECTABILITY: For anything outside of the iCIMS realm, the system is able to be integrated through various methods. The iCIMS Marketplace has many options for standard integrations for more basic, straightforward connections. Teams that have more complex needs have the ability to work with iCIMS to build a custom integration. RELIANCE ON SUPPORT: Due to the complex nature of some of the configurable elements of iCIMS, many organizations are reliant on the iCIMS Help Desk, even if they are fully capable of managing their platform themselves. Examples of configurations that require iCIMS Help Desk include security features (Search Locks, Security Rules) and automated notifications (Event Notifications). Additionally some foundational features requires the Help Desk to be involved in enabling them (Conditional Field Logic). REPORTABILITY: While the core suite can be reported upon, many of the products that were added to the Cloud via acquisition have not been fully integrated into the ATS, causing cross-product reportability to be impossible. Many of the acquired products do not have the ability to be reported upon at all or they only have standard dashboards/reports that cannot be adjusted to meet all needs. This is a stark contrast to the core suite of products. Although both of the above are frustrating, with the correct level of expertise, teams can rise above these challenges and still have a great experience with this software.
