The only downside I can currently think of is the integration with quickbooks. Apart from the occasional offline errors, the necessity to use 2 programs to essentially do similar tasks feels a bit unnecessary. Icicle had many attributes which were intuitive to use, BUT the real standout star of the program is the customer service. The logic chains behind the program were easy to understand with minimal experience, making it easy to jump feet first into populating the program with your core data. But, The customer service team makes Icicle shine; they are willing to spend the time required (with follow-ups as requested) to make sure you truly understand what the program is doing behind the scenes so you are set up for success out the gate.
