## iCal Reviews
  ### 1. Best calendar ive used in my professional career.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justyn T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2020

**What do you like best about iCal?**

The ease of use, personalized color codes, simplicity, immediate sync with smartphone, detection of events in email, and easily editable schedule with drag-and-drop ability to move appointments. Also the ability to enter a phone number and website info to link and call directly from the appointment, as well as the ability to add an attachment to view during the appointment. The creation of a "quick event" is convenient too - as well as auto-fill on events that happen on a regular basis. It's almost as if it learns from your past meetings and understands what you're trying to accomplish.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

The reminder setting could be easier to complete, but overall its not that big of a deal. The fact that it has reminders for any option of time and multiple reminders is great and well worth the complication thats easy to get used to. Also being color blind - its slightly difficult to distinguish between the current month showing, and the next month as its minimal difference. A slightly more drastic color change to distinguish between the two would be greatly appreciated and would allow less constant squinting.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

take your time to get acquainted to every feature. Watch YouTube videos and you will love it.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily add someone to a meeting by inviting them directly from an appointment I make right in the calendar, ensuring that we're all on the same time without confusion. I also work with a headquarters that is 3 hours time difference and it automatically changes the time for your time zone so that theres no glitches.

  ### 2. iCal keeps me on task and organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2021

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Alerts, I would miss many meetings without alerts on all devices.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Manually having to enter details from an outlook cal from a P/T job.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps me organized, on task, and I never miss appointments/meetings.

  ### 3. ICALish!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benitta E. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like the fact that I can put something on my iCal on any of my Apple devices and it automatically syncs to my other devices. The look of the calendar is clean and simple. The variety of colors available so that different calendars can be color coded.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Every now and then I get an error message because I allowed an event to expired before I added it to my calendar. It takes me quite some time to figure out how to remove that error message. I checked the apple community first but I was still unable to get rid of the error message.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Playing around with it is the best way to learn how to best use it.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, I don't have to put an event on my calendar on every apple device I have. I can add an appointment on any of my calendars without having to download the software. The ability to invite others to my scheduled events makes family planning easy. I realized that others were able to invite me as well to their events. Paper is not required when we use the iCal. Most women keep two calendars. One for their purse and one on their desk. iCal allows me to only have one calendar.

  ### 4. iCal: Simple and Efficient Calendar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NEHİR NAZ F. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2020

**What do you like best about iCal?**

iCal is very easy to use, synchronizes with all Apple devices, which is very helpful if you are using mostly Apple products. Graphic and interface design is very pretty, you can use different colors to organize events. If ıt's a repeating event, like a birthday or anniversary you can make the event for each year. In a work environment if everybody has ios you can create an event for each person in the team.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

If you don't have an Apple product you can not use it, also if you have an iPhone but not a Macbook, the calendar won't sync.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really schedules my program, clears out the confusions or forgetting anything. iCal is a very efficient calendar.

  ### 5. Life Organizer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilie T. | Media Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like that iCal combines my personal calendar with my work calendar so I can see everything in a more holistic manner.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Somtimes events get added to my calendar that I didnt add. For example, a dinner reminder that was mentioned in a text message will show up. This could be beneficial though, for those who do plan something and forget to add the actual reminder.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Definitely look into it if you are someone who adds personal events (workout classes, dinners, trips, etc.) to a calendar because you can also sync your work calendar for an added bonus!

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not double booking appointments since I have my calendars synced. The color-coding option helps me understand what I have going on that day. You can send the calendar invite to others, and add various pieces of information to each iCal event which has been very helpful.

  ### 6. iCal for Work-Life Balance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I used iCal for most of my high school and college years, and now that I'm a working professional, it's proving to be as useful as ever. Over the years, I've tried many calendar, scheduling and organization apps, and none of them have compared to the seamless interface and simplicity of iCal. I love that I'm able to use iCal on all of my Apple devices — it makes it easy to transition from home to the workplace while keeping everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I have noticed that iCal isn't quite as customizable as other calendar apps, which I think it in keeping with most Apple products and applications. Sometimes, I wish I was able to integrate other apps — other than Microsoft Exchange — into my calendar.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCal has made it tremendously easy to keep everything I need to stay organized in one place. The ability to categorize and color-code my calendars helps me stay in tune with my work-life balance, and features such as the integrated map make it quick and simple to glance at my calendar and know exactly where I need to be next, and how long it'll take to get there. I couldn't live without my iCal!

  ### 7. Fantastic App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn C. | Enrichment Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2020

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I love that it lets me keep track of schedule. I can input doctors appointments, meetings, PT conferences, birthdays. Plus, I love that I can sync it to social media.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Nothing, I have no complaints. It is a fantastic app.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

You can use it to track, plan and remind you for any plans you have. You can also set up reminders and alarms for specific events.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that it sync to social media so that I never forget anyone's birthdays.

  ### 8. Great for personal and business use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I really enjoy that you can have multiple calendars linked to one. With each email (personal and work) I am able to see what my whole day looks like. I also like that I can invite my family to a calendar and make sure we are all on the same schedule when needed.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I wish the design/set up of the monthly calendar was a little easier to navigate and organize. I have a lot scheduled so just having a dot on the day doesn’t tell me enough in the preview.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCal makes it easy to stay on track with your day personally and professionally. It also helps your family stay on top of tasks that apply to them.

  ### 9. iCal for Students

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I can say without a doubt that iCal is absolutely essential for college students who like to stay organized and involved on campus. I've used iCal since high school to schedule my classes, plan meetings, and block out my days in a way that's optimized for productivity. I love the feature on iCal that allows users to color-code calendars — it was perfect for distinguishing classes from meetings and personal activities.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

If anything, I wish iCal was more like Outlook and gave users the ability to invite others to events. I'm able to accept invitations from my Apple email, but to my knowledge, I can't use iCal to send meeting/event invites to other students and colleagues. I'll always prefer iCal to Outlook for everyday use, but when it comes to work and school, I do miss the collaborative function.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iCal has changed the game for my productivity, allowing me to easily create events and do long-term planning from the comfort of my Apple devices.

  ### 10. ical and sharing information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlyn D. | On-Camera Booker , Apparel & Fashion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2020

**What do you like best about iCal?**

the convenience of connecting your calendar to multiple apple devices

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

sometimes on the interface you cannot see an upcoming event because it links to the time of day it is at

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

do it!

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can share anything with a friend and invite them to an event

  ### 11. iCal Review

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like the fact that I can put something on my iCal on any of my Apple devices and it automatically syncs to my other devices. The look of the calendar is clean and simple. The variety of colors available so that different calendars can be color coded. Like much of Apple's products, it is aesthetically pleasing. It is easy to use and does exactly as it should. If I only used Apple products it might make this of competition against Google Calendar. Most appointment setters including ICal so it is easy to download events to the ICal system.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I have noticed that iCal isn't quite as customizable as other calendar apps, which I think it in keeping with most Apple products and applications. Sometimes, I wish I was able to integrate other apps — other than Microsoft Exchange — into my calendar. This makes it more difficult to collaborate with others. There's a bit of elitism in that it is only accessible on Apple products and that doesn't feel right. The competition is just easier to use on multiple platforms. And while it works with Google Calendar, it takes more time to use.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Every now and then I get an error message because I allowed an event to expired before I added it to my calendar. It takes me quite some time to figure out how to remove that error message. I checked the apple community first but I was still unable to get rid of the error message. help??

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: Sometimes events get added to my calendar that I didn't add. For example, a dinner reminder that was mentioned in a text message will show up. This could be beneficial though, for those who do plan something and forget to add the actual reminder.

  ### 12. The only calendar app I use daily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

With the iCal I like how you can the color the appointments and group them so you know what the appointment is and can easily categorize them. It makes your calendar neat and organized so you're not confused with what you are looking at. It looks really sleek and adding in appointments is so simple, setting up the time, adding the location, name and end time which is everything i like about this calendar.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I don't like that you can share your appointments and schedule on the iCal with your partners, friends and family like you can with google calendar and do not like that you can't change the theme of the calendar to your tasting.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

If you are looking for a calendar app for your mac then iCal is the way to go. The design is beautiful, simple and sleek. Easy to use to schedule your appointments so you can keep on your appointments organized. It even has multiple reminders that go off automatically so you don't miss any appointments

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems that I solved with iCal has been booking appointments for meetings and interviews which is a large part of my life and it's important to keep up with what meetings and calls i have day to day. This has been a huge life saver and do not know where I would be without using this amazing calendar so definitely has solved my porblems

**Reviewed by:** Olivia B. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about iCal?**

iCal literally saves my life in so many ways. It integrates all the different calendars I have across my life whether personal, academic, professional, etc. all into one simple way to see them all.

I have realized how to streamline all my activities and have the best time management skills. I time block hardcore with iCal and set all of my "to-do" and priorities within the app as well so it's all right there for me to see.

  ### 14. so easy to use and sync with other programs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori B. | Freelance Illustrator, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

  ### 16. Basic Calendar Functionality

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

The best thing about iCal, I suppose, is its simplicity.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

iCal is not currently my go to scheduling software for two major reasons: there are not enough functions, and it glitches all the time.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

If most of your work is analog, iCal is a simple digital scheduling tool that might work well for your business. Beware though, it deletes old information so you can't count on it for archiving.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using iCal is certainly better than not having a scheduling software. All of the times I have used it, it deletes all of the information that is a month old. As a graphic designer, it is extremely important for me to be able to access my old information. So this is a huge problem for me and ultimately made me stop using iCal.

  ### 17. My favourite Calendar Tool

I dislike that it doesn't integrate very well with Google calendar.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 22. Next great thing... After Google calendar

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Like all of Apple products that I've used for far, iCal super intuitive and easy to use while remaining extremely aesthetically pleasing. My favourite feature that makes my time and project management life easier is actually the fact how easy it is to sync between different apps and keep everything in one calendar.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I feel like there has not been a lot of innovation or feature updates in recent years from iCal. Considering that the market is constantly looking for new integrations and time saving options, there could be done more.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Calendar was my first organizing tool that allowed me to have everything synced in one place without making a lot of effort. And for that I am ultimately thankful. But as mentioned, it needs a bit of a refreshment, since other players are catching up with more innovative solutions to stay on top.

  ### 23. I use ical on a daily basis, it comes in handy in everyday work.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taryn B. | Dispatch Administrator , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like using iCal because it really helps me to stay organized and collected with my scheduling and events.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Sometimes iCal doesnt allow you to put that much information in, which can be a downfall at times.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to stay organized with my daily work and if i ever need to refer back to something i always know i will have fast and easy access.

  ### 24. Handy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Not much to dislike, perhaps the overlapping schedule layer can be more clear

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Make sure everyone have set up an account properly and have good training on how to sync iCal on other devices

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing wirh other devices, but can easily be fixed by asking their support team

  ### 25. Simple but effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Very easy to use app, that is simple in look but effective. Love how I can have iCal set up across many devices and they all sync with any changes made.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Dislike how cluttered it can get when you have multiple Holiday Calendars showing, especially if the holidays are the same (for instance Canada and USA holiday calendars have same holidays and it will show up twice on iCal)

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's nice that everyone in the office has access to the same iCal and can see what events or projects are coming up.

  ### 26. Simple but elegant

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan R. | Screenplay Consultant, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like the straightforward design of the layout, the ease in switching between different views, and the integrated maps feature that syncs across all Mac devices. Super easy to move from iCal on my MacBook to Maps on my phone for the drive to an appointment.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

To my knowledge, it's not integrated with Apples Reminders, so it lacks the robust ability of something like Outlook to place task inside a certain schedule block.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to keep my personal and business schedules straight. It's incredibly convenient to jump from iCal to Maps when navigating to an off site meeting.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about iCal?**

There isn’t a lot of bells and whistles (comparing into outlooks calendar for example) which makes this use simple and provides the surface needs I need in my personal life.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

If I needed more options for color coding, inviting others etc, this would not be my first choice.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

It is a great starter tool and allows for personal organization.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No major problems. I love that it syncs up to my phone for reminders.

  ### 29. Calendar application

  ### 34. ICal is Easy to Use but Not Enough to Leave Google Calendar

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivian N. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2018

**What do you like best about iCal?**

It's pretty. Like much of Apple's products, it is aesthetically pleasing. It is easy to use and does exactly as it should. If I only used Apple products it might make this of a competition against Google Calendar. Most appointment setters including ICal so it is easy to download events to the ICal system.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

It's only available on Apple products so more than half of my products cannot use it.

This is a solid product if you only use Apple products.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't really see much if I can't use it on my Chromebook and smartphone. This is a good product if you use only Apple products. It is also easy to download events/apppointments to from most websites and FB.

  ### 41. Reliable Calendar for iOS Devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor B. | Marketing Executive, Sports, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Apple Calendar is the best Calendar that I have used on my iOS devices. The feature that I like the most about Apple Calendar is that it is compatible with Apple Mail. When I receive an email message to my Apple Mail, any events and appointments are automatically synced to my Apple Calendar. This is convenient because I don't have to remember to go back-and-forth in between my email and my calendar to write events that I received via email. Before my calendar and email automatically synced, I would have to go from an event I was even an email and manually type it out into my calendar. It was easy to leave things out, make mistakes and even sometimes overlook and forget to write events on my calendar. There's definitely a convenience factor with this automatic sync.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I dislike the reminder feature of Apple Calendar or at least certain aspects of it. For me, it is important to be reminded of every event that is on my calendar. Unfortunately, I have discovered that Apple calendar does not automatically set reminders to events on the calendar. Even those automatically synced events from my email. So, when event is automatically synced from an email to my calendar, since Apple calendar does not automatically put a reminder in to an event, I have overlooked and missed events because there was no reminder notification. Especially for those events that are not manually added to my calendar, a reminder is important. I would like Apple calendar even more if reminders were automatically set to each event on the calendar.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I recommend Apple calendar anyone who uses an iOS device. It is convenient since it automatically syncs with your Apple email and with your Apple Maps. So, if a location is added to an event in my Apple calendar I can automatically bring it up in my Apple Maps without having to manually type the address out.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Calendar has been a huge benefit to my business as you are allowed to share your calendar with coworkers or anyone who uses Apple calendar. So, I'm able to view the calendars of my employees and coworkers. I'm also able to share my calendar with others. This has been a most convenient feature as I don't have to check in with 10 people who I want to set a meeting with in order to get their availability. All that I have to do is look at their Apple calendar to see when they are free and then I can set meetings around others schedule. This makes it more convenient for me and for others. It is also a great future because you can set permissions to allow what others can view on your calendar. You can let them view details or just that you are busy or free at certain times.

  ### 42. Makes it Easy to Keep Track of Everything

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer P. | Admissions Coordinator, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Apple Calendar is so great because it provides an easy way for me to track everything that I have going on in my life. My favorite thing about it would have to be the reminder feature. The reminder feature allows you to set a reminder alarm or alert for any event that is on your calendar. You can set it to remind you on a certain day or on a certain day of each month - this means that it routinely reminds you of an ongoing event. You are also able to have it remind you one or two days before an event. Before this, I used to have to add one event to my calendar multiple times so that I could be alerted days before an event. This allows me time to prepare whatever I need for that event. Apple Calendar's reminder alerts have made life much more simple now that I'm able to set multiple reminders for just a single event.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

The thing that I have found to dislike about Apple Calendars also has to do with the reminder alert feature that I love - and that has helped me - so much. This is because those reminder alerts are not automatically set when something is added to your Apple Calendar. So, you have to make sure that you remember to manually add a reminder each time an event is added to your calendar. If you don't manually add it, no reminder alert will be included and you will not be reminded - or notified at all besides with a pop-up at the time of the event. This is really bad when I have it synced so that events that I receive in my email are automatically put on my calendar. This is because - since these events are automatically synced and I'm not manually putting them in - an alert is never included.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I would definitely recommend Apple Calendar to any person who uses an Apple device. It is easy to use with a clean and professional layout. I definitely recommend that you set it up to automatically sync with your Apple Mail so that any time you receive an event in your email it automatically is placed on your calendar. This feature has really been of assistance to me. Apple Calendar is also nice because it allows you to set priority to each event on your calendar. Highly recommend Apple Calendar to anyone and everyone !

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Calendar has proven beneficial because of its compatibility with Apple Mail. This means that - since I have Apple Calendar and Apple Mail synced - each time I receive an email containing an event - it is automatically synced to my Apple Calendar. Before this, I would have to go back and forth between my Apple Mail and my Apple Calendar in order to be able to manually type in the details of an event that I received in my email to my calendar. This was time consuming and it was easy to overlook details. There were even times when I got so many emails that I overlooked an event all together and it never made it to my Apple Calendar at all. Now that I have the two services set to be synced - I never have to worry about missing an important event. It has really proven to help me in my professional life and I continue to recommend it to my colleagues. I recommend it a lot to colleagues because we can then view each other's calendars - another great and helpful feature of Apple Calendar.

  ### 43. Functional calendar app

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Indya J. C. | Family Advocate & Self Sufficiency Case Manager , Government Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Apple did an amazing job at allowing apple calendar to sync with your connected accounts. Because I sit on several boards, they have made calendars that I need to be able to foresee at all times. For this reason I can see both my personal calendar events and events from my boards at the same time. I also love that you can be very specific with the details for your events, setting timed reminders, recurrences, etc. Because Ihave so many recurring calendar invites I can color code them as well. I would save overall this is a great calendar app that is simple and user-friendly and undoubtedly functional. I must say though that my favorite feature is your ability to click within your own invites and calendars and share seamlessly with your contact or simply by entering their email address. My family uses this feature for traveling plans and recently surgeries planned within our family.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Im not super crazy about the interface. Its very simple--good and downside. I also don't like that even with adjusting with the window sizing if there are multiple reminders for that date--you just have a number i.e. 6 more. I think it would be nice to see at the very least the colors for the various reminders, so that even if you can't see the reminders themselves, if your have recurring or new reminders you are visually triggered by whats included on that day.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

If you have multiple calendars this is an extremely user friendly calendar. I think if you coordinate events or external calendars, you will also enjoy this app as you won't have have to create multiple invites as you can simple create the calendar and share it with said users w/o having to give them permissions or multiple links

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can definitely share calendars! This feature has allowed me to literally streamline my life as i have access to my personal, business and volunteer -related calendars all at the same time. This made my paper planner obsolete.

  ### 44. Great Syncing Calendar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I love how Apple Calendar syncs with every single Apple device that you own. If I put an event in on my iPad, it will show up on my MacBook. I find this extremely beneficial because I have a tendency to forget the various events that I have lined up and need access to them on every device. I love that the calendar displays the actual date rather than a "fake" date.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I few the Apple Calendar as an excellent resource, and, therefore, do not feel like there is an aspect about it that I dislike. I am very pleased with it's overall results.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Apple Calendar is a great scheduling and date took for anyone that sings Apple Products, including: MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads. If you are looking for a calendar that syncs to all of your devices than this is the Calendar for you! And, this software is free on all Apple products!

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that when I schedule anything, especially business related, I can put it into the Apple device that I am currently using, and then it will show up in all of my other Apple devices. I like this because I don't have to worry about repeatedly putting in an event, but I can also access it from anywhere.

  ### 45. Love Apple Calendar!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather B. | Content Creator/Social Media Consultant + Event Planner, Public Relations and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2018

**What do you like best about iCal?**

Syncing with my family so we're all on the same page for appointments and scheduled outings/parties. Keeping up with all my appointments, meetings, etc plus things that my family has going on was difficult before we switched to Apple calendar.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

There's nothing that I dislike about the Apple Calendar app.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling meetings around my family's busy schedule.

  ### 46. Reliable and Convenient Calendar - Makes Life Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kennedy G. | Pension Administrator, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

The thing I like most about Apple Calendar is that it is compatible with my other Apple Applications. Apple Calendar automatically syncs to my Apple Mail, allowing me to never miss an event. Also, when an address is attached to an appointment on my Apple Calendar, I can access it in Apple Maps with one simple click - instead of having to retype the address between applications. I have found that not having to put something on my calendar then enter the address in my maps has made things much easier with less room for error.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I have only found one thing about Apple Calendar that I dislike and that is the fact that reminder alerts are not automatically set when an appointment is added to my calendar. If I want a reminder or an alarm to sound to notify me of an appointment on my calendar, I have to remember to manually set an alarm. This has proven detrimental many times when I overlook setting an alarm reminder and I miss an appointment because I was never notified.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I recommend Apple Calendar for any person who uses the IOS operating system. Since Apple Calendar is compatible with all other Apple applications, it makes it easy to share information between them. You can automatically set it so that any events in your Apple Mail are synced to your Apple Calendar - so that you never have to type everything out and ensures no details are missed. It is also great because it allows you to set multiple reminders for one event - so, I can be reminded of an event two days before it is scheduled and two hours before it is scheduled.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Calendar has helped with my business because I can share my calendar with my coworkers and even sync it to their calendars. So, when I'm going to schedule a meeting, I can automatically view my coworkers schedule on Apple Calendar. This is a great feature. No more taking up people's time by having to schedule a time for everyone to get together so that we can view our schedules to to see when is a good time for us to schedule a meeting. Apple Calendar makes this much more simple. I don't even have to contact coworkers - just by looking at their calendars I can see when they are free and schedule a meeting.

  ### 47. Apple Calendar: I'd love to use it, but the interface just doesn't work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace M. | Documentation Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2018

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I would like to use Apple Calendar, as it would tie in more seamlessly with my devices. One of Apple's big strengths is how well everything works together.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I just don't like the interface. Compared to the other things I've tried, including the two calendars I use now (Outlook and Google), it just doesn't look or feel right.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I think whether or not you end up liking Apple Calendar is ultimately just a matter of personal preference about how things look and feel. You may love it, or you may prefer other options.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My need is for work and personal calendars, on separate apps, that can be easily synced. This was not a benefit I could realize with Apple Calendar.

  ### 48. Excellent way to manage schedule

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel L. | Procurement Specialist, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

The feature that I like best about Apple Calender is that it is compatible with the Mail program on the Apple interface. This is so convenient because whenever an event or meeting is emailed to Mail, it automatically syncs to my Apple Calendar. That's right, Apple Calender automatically recognizes events sent to my Mail and adds it to my Calender. It is so convenient and time saving. I also like that when I create a recurring event on Apple Calendar, I'm easily able to go back and edit one occurance without having to edit the entire series.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I would like if Apple Calendar made it easier to add events, time and place, by following links. Apple Caneldar would be more convenient if it allowed you to locate an event and - by clicking on the link - it recognized the time and place and automatically set a reminder.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I recommend Apple Calendar for those who want an easy a way to manage their schedule. It is especially convenient for those who use Mail/the Apple email application as it can be set to sync with Apple Calendar to automatically transfer all events received in the Mail application (using any email account you use in the Apple mail application) to your Calender - this helps to ensure that no important event is overlooked and saving you the extra step of creating a calendar event manually.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reminder feature on Apple Calendar has proved to be the most beneficial tool in the application. It allows you to pick a time for Apple Calendar to remind you of an event and even set a second reminder to ensure you don't miss anything on your schedule. It also allows you to customize the reminder with your choice of vibration or alarm sound. It has helped to ensure that we are prepared and don't miss any event. We are even able to share events on Apple Calendar with others that need to be included, to help ensure all necessary parties are notified.

  ### 49. Simple calendar

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jon p. | Youth and Worship pastor, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2017

**What do you like best about iCal?**

You can set multiple accounts with multiple calendars. This makes it very simple to separate work and other appointments that I have. I also like how it links to all of your devices, allowing you to always schedule what you need, even if you don't have your main device with you.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

I wish that there were more options to each specific appointment that you make. If there was a sharing function that allowed you to share certain appointments or events with large groups of people without having to select each person individually. It would also be nice for multiple people to be able to edit events.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

Use it as a simple way to keep track of both your person and your professional obligations. I definitely enjoy the ability to have multiple, separate calendars.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customizing specific events and sharing them with the entire company. This makes planning meetings very simple.

  ### 50. Easy calendar integration for iOS apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2018

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I like that this calendar is universal with personal and work bookings. Very simple integrations. If you use the calendar app on your phone, you always have the data on the go straight from your iPhone.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

There really isn't anything I dislike about the app. Maybe if was better implementation between other calendar apps.

**Recommendations to others considering iCal:**

I can't think of anything now. They are headed in the right direction.

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple calendar for scheduling meetings and staying organized.
