"Using IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition"
5/5
What do you like best about IBM WebSphere?

It gives the developers choices to select WAS, Liberty or Open Liberty for application development. This greatly increases developer productivity. Also, I like the fact that WebSphere Hybrid Edition allows developers to create and support microservices that reduce application complexity. It supports migration to containers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM WebSphere?

I dislike the time it takes to maintain legacy applications while converting to IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM WebSphere?

I like that it has the Websphere Application Server (WAS), liberty profile for developer productivity because it has a fast start-up time and a wide range of programming models. The best part is that applications do not have to be online silmutaneously, and it has the ability to identify and adress my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM WebSphere?

I do not like that it sometimes slows down during deployment, and I feel that it's expensive to purchase and renew; other than that, it has served me well to the best of its ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"IBM WebSphere Liberty: The Emperor has New Clothes..."
5/5
What do you like best about IBM WebSphere?

We have all grown to know and trust Traditional WebSphere Application Server (tWAS) as the gold standard application server of choice over the years. Now, we have an opportunity to take advantage of micro-services and modernize our application architecture/infrastructure. We need a new, dynamic, lightweight, container-ready application server runtime solution to facilitate this. Enter IBM WebSphere Liberty...all of the above and more. Out with the old, in with the new (with an appreciative nod to tWAS). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM WebSphere?

Change is difficult...technological change, even more so. Thankfully, we have an application server modernization solution like IBM WebSphere Liberty to help us along the journey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful Application Server for All tier applications"
4.5/5
What do you like best about IBM WebSphere?

IBM Websphere is a beneficial and configurable application enterprise server that has many configurations like data source connection, java configs, server configs etc. you can install this server in any kind of system like AIX, Windows even in your local machine for development purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM WebSphere?

There are no such dislikes, but it has a very old user interface, and sometimes it takes time to sync up with the backend side, like stopping a server sometimes hangs your system. Deploying any application on this server is a lengthy process, unlike modern servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
