The system is very fast, intuitive and customisable meaning it doesn't take a long time to learn. The API for TP is also superb, meaning we can write our own tools to integrate with it with ease. Customer support is second to none, always available to help and being able to sort out the issue. **What do you dislike about IBM Targetprocess?** One thing that is a bit annoying the is that external links aren't opened in a new window, meaning if you click on it you go out of TP and have to then navigate back. Also, when adding a new member of staff you do not know at the time if you have enough licences to be able to do this and if you don't the person isn't added, forcing you to navigate away to buy the licence and then you can go back and add them, having to enter all their details all over again. **Recommendations to others considering IBM Targetprocess:** Give it time and you will learn to love it! **What problems is IBM Targetprocess solving and how is that benefiting you?** TP has helped us greatly at organising our projects for the various systems we are working on, making communication and organisation between developers, project managers and business analysts very easy. Cards, lists, timelines, burndowns, predefined and custom graphical reports. Extremely powerful filtering allows you to create almost any view you want. Planning on any level (programs, projects, epics, features, userstories, tasks, bugs) but you don't need to use all of this - just choose what fits your needs the best. It's fast, looks nice, and you can customize it as you need it (though it comes with predefined customization). Our stakeholders use it at features and epics level, developers - at userstories and bugs level. It works really well for us. **What do you dislike about IBM Targetprocess?** It was a little bit hard to switch from the previous predefined and almost non-customizable tool to fully customizable TP. TP from the box was missing some views we used to use with the previous tool but the TP support helped us configure it really quick. The phone and tablet apps (at least for iOS) are not the best to be honest. Since the release of Target Process v3 the reach and power of the tools when to the stars and beyond!!! I believe that everyone has felt the frustration of using a new tool and not been able to understand how it works or how to make things happens, but I can guarantee you that will never going to happen with Target Process. Their solution is extremely intuitive and attractive, that you know what to do and how it works in just a few seconds, and what is better, is that the more you uses it, the more you know it and that gives you the change to get all juice of it :) simply amazing!! After my previous statement you may think "well, and if I don't know something? what then? I don't what to read a boring FAQ or How-To to solve my problem!!!", No worries my friend! Target Process has one of the best supports staffs and documentation I have ever seen!!!! They are just amazing!!! Even if you are a free user, you have access to all of that, just great!! I almost forgot! You font like something? well, just change it! :) Target Process is highly customizable and you will get the results you want. The support is second to none, they respond promptly via email, but usually I use the live chat which is just perfect. Using live chat we have often used the screen sharing facilities and the support person has taken control of our server virtual machine, which I'm more than happy for them to do, I trust them 100%. We've never had a show stopping issue from their system by the way, its very robust and smooth to run, even on a vm. **What do you dislike about IBM Targetprocess?** Generally the only thing I have disliked is the learning curve switching from the TP2 interface to TP3. If you are a new user of course, you wont have this issue as you will just be using TP3 interface. The TP3 interface is very good, very flexible and looks awesome, it's just very different from the TP2 interface that I was used to. **Recommendations to others considering IBM Targetprocess:** Its a really great system, just give it a try! **What problems is IBM Targetprocess solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have complex software and release / iteration schedules. Multiple products - some off the shelf, some are bespoke. Varying release schedules and iterations. TargetProcess copes perfectly with all of this. It is just as ideal for small projects as it is for large projects, utilizing tasks bugs, stories, features and epics. We even use TP for time sheet management for pretty much the entire company. It's generally a great, stable platform which runs very efficiently on minimal hardware. ### 5. What I like most about Targetprocess is the closeness to the people behind it. In the past, I have used Jira, Agile Zen, and Trello to name a few. TargetProcess is the only tool that I have not thrown to the side after a few months. The reason? Flexibility. I project manage four very different teams within a large corporation. Some of my teams are traditional development teams, and some are marketing teams. You can organize your tasks, bugs in boards/views based on different criteria. It's easier to see a big picture using TP. - The tool is very flexible. You may build your own workflows, processes, add custom fields. - You don't need to follow a certain methodology to benefit from a tool. - I really like a possibility to share boards, so you don't need to create account for everyone and help them to configure boards. People who are not heavily involved in the development may follow the progress using shared boards. -I like the interface, it's pleasant to use a software with nice UI :) **What do you dislike about IBM Targetprocess?** It's not easy to get started. A new user has to spend a lot of time time in order to learn how to use it. It'll be necessary to read a documentation if you want to enjoy the tool functionality. As a result you have to invest time in training your team and clients at the beginning. **Recommendations to others considering IBM Targetprocess:** I would recommend to any software company. Configuring everything can be difficult, but once you have everything setup and train your team you'll get a friendly and useful tool for projects management. **What problems is IBM Targetprocess solving and how is that benefiting you?** Target Process helped us a lot to organize projects, tasks and bugs management. We have a really big backlog of features, technical improvements, etc, As soon as TP is very flexible we were able to find a "good and separate" place for different entities.
