"Product for large business organization which includes complex business logic"

What do you like best about IBM Sterling Order Management?

One product for whole enterprise management includes Inventory,Order management,Catalog Management,Returns everything we can thing of with respect to a business.Well suited for large enterprises who has to deal with complex business logic. Multi store fronts or multiple buyer and seller organization.

I like how it controls very complex logic just by creating one simple rule or by checking or adding some attributes in the existing pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Sterling Order Management?

I dislike the fact of Sterling commerce being very heavy product.Installing this requires large memory and maintenance of the product is also difficult.

Comes with a rich client platform which again consume large space and not really very fast responsive.

Sterling commerce is complex solution involves lot of complex rules and installation cycles.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Sterling Order Management:

I will recommend this product for organization with good budget and very complex business model to follow. You should have a good number of business logic involved in your business process like multiple shipment , order with large number of items of different categories, Product+ service orders,up selling and cross selling etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Sterling Order Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving almost all kind of retail business problems like optimization of cost, transportation. Order management life cycle from adding an item to the cart till payment process there are lot many backend business logic that needs to be validated can be performed through sterling product suite.Return management is also another part of the product which can be implemented for an organization.
