While it's possible to put the variables in alphabetical order, sometimes the variable names are not what you'd expect (for example, in pre-existing datasets like the GSS). Also, with just a few clicks, you can get statistical significance and Cramer's V that will allow you to calculate variance, which is an important accompaniment to the statistical significance of a p-value.
