"IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier"
4/5
What do you like best about IBM OpenPages?

IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier is the best for text data analysis. It helps us detect people, events, & other types of entities mentioned in the input content given to it using its out-of-the-box capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM OpenPages?

The price of NLC is a bit on the higher end. Hence, it becomes slightly difficult for individuals/small businesses to use it. Apart from that, due to its constrained knowledge, it sometimes produces results with a high degree of inaccuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Very easy to use service that does the exactly what I need"
4/5
What do you like best about IBM OpenPages?

I have been working with the IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier for years not and I have seen this product come extremely far. I think IBM Watson has been very responsive to their customer needs in providing a solution to training and productionalizing a NLC that doesn't require a massive amount of technical expertise. That being said it still allows for power-users to go in there and get a high amount of customizability if they desire Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM OpenPages?

This is not as much of a dislike but more of a frustration, sometimes I have struggled with getting the classifier to be accurate enough because I have not provided enough nuance in my training data. Creating all that training data can be super time-consuming which can be no fun. I think some of this will change as NLP large-language models continue to become the industry standard and continue to develop their applicability to infer information from text. "OpenPages is an awesome GRC product"
5/5
What do you like best about IBM OpenPages?

The task focussed UI views along with the workflow and calculation engines allow solutions to be easily configured to meet client needs with mostly configuration. This means that solutions can be delivered in an Agile approach allowing teams to quickly build and deploy new/amended solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM OpenPages?

Personally I would like more capability for both administators and users to create multiple homepage dashboard panels, and for local panels, to be able to share them with their local teams. This would reduce overheads of creating multiple profiles to have different dashboards.

Having said that, the simplicity and flexibility of how users can setup their own dashboards is very impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about IBM OpenPages?

OpenPages is very configurable while also providing an object model to help guide development. The ability to associate objects is HUGE when looking at this product in a global scale for a large company. Tailored views allows each group of our customers to see what they would like to see, and the new addition of custom email tempaltes for workflows is a great added bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM OpenPages?

Guidance from IBM is a bit lacking when it comes to best practices and suggested use cases. We don't want to start going down a path that would cause us tech debt in the future. There is no real documentation on recommended ways to configure the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
