What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

The depth of its asset lifecycle management is impressive—every step from procurement through retirement is tracked seamlessly. The workflow engine is incredibly flexible, handling complex approval paths without hiccups. I also appreciate the mobile-first design, which finally delivers a reliable offline experience for field technicians. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

Initial setup remains challenging without specialized expertise—plan for extra time and training. The dashboard builder, while improved, still lacks some flexibility for custom visualizations. And the shift to application-point licensing creates budgeting uncertainties compared to user-based models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ondrej Zosiak of IBM Maximo Application Suite

Thank you, Mahdi, for your comprehensive feedback. We’re delighted to hear that IBM Maximo Application Suite’s end-to-end asset lifecycle management, workflow flexibility, and mobile-first design are delivering measurable results for your operations. "“Powerful but Complex Enterprise Asset Management Solution"
4/5
What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

IBM Maximo Application Suite provides a comprehensive platform for Enterprise Asset Management. I really like how it centralizes asset data, maintenance schedules, and work management into a single system. The dashboards are customizable and provide clear insights into asset health, performance, and downtime. It’s also scalable, so it works well for both mid-sized and large enterprises. Integration with IoT and AI-driven predictive maintenance is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

The interface, while powerful, can feel a bit complex for new users. Initial setup and configuration require technical expertise, and smaller organizations may find it resource-intensive. Performance can slow down when dealing with very large datasets unless optimized properly. Licensing costs are also on the higher side compared to some alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ondrej Zosiak of IBM Maximo Application Suite

Thank you, Azhakendiran, for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that IBM Maximo Application Suite’s centralized platform, scalability, and AI-driven predictive maintenance are helping streamline your operations and improve reliability. Nothing much has changed functionally. So i would not rate MAS any higher than previous version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

Navigation is bad, user access control with IT team, Placement of icons is not friendly - it should be left oriented and not right, Path to upgrade is way too long. Looks like more of a profit strategy for IBM and customers don't stand to benefit much Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
