That there are still many Vendors that don't support the architecture. The sad thing is IBM is one of those. We have IBM software that we want to run on the ppc64le architecure and they support x86 but not Power. Ridiculous! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because of their excellent performance, IBM Power Servers can be more complex to set up and operate than other servers. You may need specialized assistance to set up and maintain these servers. What do you like best about IBM Power Servers?

Power servers are highly robust in terms of our criteria; they are very scalable and can start with minimum, and they have excellent scalability performance and can be recommended for any cluster task with dependability. What do you like best about IBM Power Servers?

We have a lot of computing demands at our enterprise, IBM power servers easily handle computations based on efficient resource allocations. Apart from its native IBM software, we can even use ESXI for virtualizations and backups. Overall, Redundancy was achieved with IBM Power Servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about IBM Power Servers is that the onsite servers require electricity even though they are very efficent the electricity cost still adds up as the are running 24/7, compaired to cloud servers which don't require onsite power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
