The user interface for non-technical users feels outdated compared to modern cloud-native ECM solutions. Initial setup and configuration can be complex and usually require expert assistance. User-friendly interface is the thing I like the most. The interface is divided into the main window with records or folders, windows with metadata and auxiliary windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM FileNet Content Manager?

I dislike the lack of group actions upon the digital objects but I suppose that is the particular implementation issue. Workflows created for the Content Manager can sometimes be difficult to follow or execute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You have the ability to bring order to mix of content, digital as well as scanned content. You can build a workflows around various types of content that are critical to operations.
