The loading times really surprised me, by this I mean that no matter the size of the data loaded everything will be fast when it comes to starting to configure the visual reports. I have been trying to use other platforms but in none of them I can get the same response time from when the data is loaded to the point where the graphs can be generated. I like how I can combine several inputs from different sources to generate the reports, with this I can create more detailed reports. The provision of importing different data sources is very useful for me because it allows me to easily generate reports without any problem. **What do you dislike about IBM Cognos Analytics?** It would be very useful to have a feature that shows a warning when errors are made in the creation of a report and it is not executed, this would help a lot to be able to solve the problem that the loaded database may contain more easily. It would also be nice if they added possible solutions to the problems that are generated. At first glance, the interface lacks intuitiveness, it requires complete training even if you already have knowledge of data management in SQL to be able to implement said data to this platform, so the lack of intuitive tools made it difficult to be able to navigate within the interface and be effective for data analysis. I had problems with certain browsers when working with this platform for the first few times, in some cases it simply did not display the virtualized elements correctly, for my solution it was only to use browsers that based on Chromium, because otherwise it will simply have errors even in displaying the drag and drop elements. **What problems is IBM Cognos Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** IBM Cognos Analytics is quite prevalent in my work environment because the creation of reports is very specific and efficient. We generate reports on the real estate market in order to analyze the possible better property offers and to be able to make a price comparison in order to determine the best option that our clients need. My experience with this tool has been excellent since it is very robust and complete, it has many data analysis features and also AI functions that improve the way in which reports are generated. So far, we had used dashboards and charts in order to visualize our HVAC model data. It does not provide same level of drag and drop functionalities and even pre built visualisation options as like power bi. The tool is pretty rich in features, and can be used daily as easily as any other tool. Able to analyze a variety of datasets. If you don't have a powerfull enough computer, it can be a little frustrating.
