Cloudability has given us a platform to properly understand our cloud spend, how our cloud spend is trending and actions we can perform to optimize our cloud spend. It has empowered us to make metric based decisions and greater proactivity in addressing cloud usage before the big bill lands at the end of the month. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloudability?** This isn't a cheap tool, and for many organisations they will potentially just see this as "more cloud cost" and therefore not realise the benefits such a product and solutions can provide them. There are some minor improvements we'd like to see, particularly around rightsizing recommendations and preferences. For example you can avoid certain instance types for EC2 in AWS but you can't do the same for EBS and avoid SC1 storage. This leads to a lot of rightsizing alerts which either have to be snoozed or filtered. It also cleans up the noise with the GL by providing only the data you're asking to see. It's a clean UI and is organized very well. The rightsizing recommendations have provided a lot of benefits to our team and the newly added snoozing functionality is a great help when looking at potential savings! We have some other tools where we just retrieve the data they provide via APIs since their UI is too convoluted, but we never run into that issue with Cloudability. Lastly, their APIs are a huge help to our team when we've needed to pull the data into our custom internal reporting. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloudability?** When creating a dashboard, you can't bring multiple datasets into the same dashboard. Cloudability works in segmented tabs, so rightsizing lives on one page, cloud spend lives on another, same with budgeting / forecasting. It would be beneficial if they could bring it all together in one system, so end users could see a mix of datasets in one dashboard. Apptio BI has been a great solution to this problem from the initial tests we've had. **What problems is IBM Cloudability solving and how is that benefiting you?** our organization built an internal tool where users had to check their cloud spend account by account. Easy to manage views, users and access adminstration. Easy to connect CSP accounts and manage vendor credentials. Good rightsizing recommendations provided. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloudability?** Report can have only 10 columns. We have raised the change request to make it 20 columns but it never happened. When you export a report, the customized business metrics colum names do not appear which is annoying as we have to manually update the column name in the excel report each time. **What problems is IBM Cloudability solving and how is that benefiting you?** we can access the consolidated data from different CSP vendors at one place. It gives us our total mutiple CSP cost and usage data on a desired selected frequency e.g. daily, weekly etc. ### 19. So far I'm quite happy with the responsiveness of the customer support teams. I like the ease with which I can share filtered reports and dashboards with others. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloudability?** Feature parity across the 4 major clouds is still not the same. AWS support is excellent which is great for us but the other clouds seem a little lagging in feature parity.
