Processes can get stuck sometimes, and the migration of services may take longer than usual.

IBM BPM has a lot of traits. It is a platform for rapid development of Business Processes based on Service Oriented Architecture. This makes IBM BPM developer friendly as well as for Businesses to understand the process workflow and be able to scale the project with new modifications. The best thing about IBM BPM is its modular approach to develop business solutions. It Provides visibility across all activities of company's processes and monitoring its performance. The worst thing is when server gets hanged due to a loop running or something computationally intensive. This should be managed by IBM on server side to get safe from such flaw to restart the server if this happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are looking for complex UI devlopment ,IBM BPM is not a good option,But they have feature of writing custom code which will work out.

IBM Business Process Manager has many OOTB tools and components in its palate which cover most of the business needs. I would recommend IBM BPM over other couples of products available in the market. It's a mature product and enterprise-ready. IBM does provide easy and flexible licensing, so like if you buy IBM Software/Cloud Pak for Automation, it entitles you to use IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), Operational Decision Manager (ODM), IBM Digital Worker (smaller version of Robotic Process Automation/RPA), Business Automation Insights (BAI) for reporting and monitoring, Content Analyzer, Workstreams, etc. It also enables customers to deploy the applications in the cloud, physical servers, or VMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automation of business flows is very easy, and the product does come up with almost everything business needs. Besides that, the end-user and administration consoles help in managing the product very easily. It's OOTB REST APIs library has helped us a lot in designing headless solutions which some of our use-cases require, and also the build automation has been done using those REST APIs. What do you like best about IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)?

Latest version of IBM BPM is v8.6. I have experience almost like 2 year on IBM BPM v8.6.

IBM BPM is a mature product as compare to previous version. We have developed motor claims automation using this product. Overall experience is good. I personally recommending to use it. It has lots of features to monitor after production deployment. You can also monitor real-time instances. Realtime integration is working perfectly with other system. There are few things which I dislike. Like sometime Services got stuck in development. Sometime instances got corrupted in production and we can't handle it. Sometime we get issue with update tracking definition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
