A single AI model can be fluent, confident and wrong. IamVERA checks an AI-generated answer before you act on it: independent models review the facts, challenge the reasoning and verify the sources, and every step is shown to you. How it works: you ask a question or upload a document. In the full verification chain, Claude drafts the initial answer, GPT performs a factual review, Grok challenges the assumptions and reasoning, and Perplexity checks claims against current public sources. The justified findings are then incorporated into a final answer. You see every correction, disagreement and source, not just the end result. The chain is configurable per session, so you decide which models take part and how much verification depth a question deserves. Two privacy layers reduce sensitive-data exposure. Vera X-Ray is a Chrome extension that works on your own device. It opens a PDF, scanned page or text file locally, detects sensitive values such as names, IBANs, case numbers and health information, and lets you review and approve exactly what is released. The original file stays on your computer; protected values are replaced by tokens and restored on your device after Vera responds. Inside Vera, the Semantic Privacy Shield replaces detected sensitive values in document context with synthetic placeholders before that context reaches an external AI provider. It fails closed: if detected real values remain, nothing is sent. X-Ray controls what AI sees; Vera verifies what AI says. Vera Office is a browser-based DOCX workspace that combines privacy-preserving AI document analysis, multi-model verification and controlled document editing. Edits follow a validated action plan; a model never gets unrestricted access to your file. IamVERA is built for professionals who act on AI output and are bound by confidentiality: lawyers, legal advisers, notaries, board members, doctors, healthcare professionals and estate agents. Typical uses include AI hallucination detection in draft analyses, fact-checking reports and proposals, reviewing cited sources and summarising sensitive documents. IamVERA is not a single language model and not a guarantee of truth. Its privacy controls are pseudonymisation, not strict anonymisation, and no detector finds everything. It reduces the risk of undetected errors and of data exposure, and leaves professional judgement with you. We publish tests of our own verification chain, including failed checks and the raw run data. The Vera environment is hosted in the EU; only approved, transformed context is sent to the AI providers you select.
