"Simple to Navigate and Automation helps with audit evidence"
4/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

The application is simple to navigate and setting up audit document request lists is great. We have started to setup some automated evidence collection which is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

Some of the automated requests for JIRA and ServiceNow do not sync well with our environment making it tough for internal teams to see and respond to those tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Risk and Compliance with a Clear Framework"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

What I like best about Hyperproof is how seamlessly it connects controls across multiple frameworks like ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 with our Risk Register and third-party supplier assessments. This integrated view gives us a much clearer understanding of our overall compliance posture and helps us manage our security & privacy programs more efficiently. What I also appreciate is how the platform enables us to decentralize ownership of controls—handing responsibility back to individual functions instead of everything sitting with the InfoSec or Data Privacy teams. This promotes better accountability and cross-functional engagement in our compliance efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

While Hyperproof offers strong functionality, the user experience can sometimes feel a bit unintuitive, especially for first-time or non-technical users. Some features like Hypersyncs require a bit of trial and error to understand fully, and clearer in-app guidance or tooltips would be helpful. That said, the support team is very responsive and open to feedback, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Audits"
4/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

Hyperproof has drastically streamlined our audit preparation and evidence collection process. What I like best is how it centralizes all our controls, frameworks, and evidence in a single platform—making audits far more efficient and less chaotic. The automated evidence collection and integration with tools like Jira, Google Drive, and Slack reduce manual follow-up and increase accuracy. Its clear mapping between controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) also makes cross-framework work seamless. For audit readiness, it’s a game-changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

While Hyperproof is powerful, the user interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first—especially for new users who aren't as familiar with audit and compliance workflows. The learning curve is steeper than expected, and some areas of navigation (like drilling down into control mappings) could be more intuitive. Additionally, reporting and dashboard customization could be more flexible to better align with stakeholder needs. However, these are areas the Hyperproof team seems to be actively improving. "Accelerating SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance for Platform Services"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

As the platform services team embarks on the journey toward SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, Hyperproof has proven to be a valuable partner in streamlining our compliance efforts. Through our weekly sessions, the Hyperproof team has provided hands-on support, helping us ramp up our documentation processes and leverage their Hypersync feature. This proactive engagement has not only improved our readiness for audits but also fostered a culture of continuous compliance within our team.

Hyperproof’s platform offers intuitive tools for evidence collection, control mapping, and workflow automation, which have significantly reduced the manual overhead typically associated with compliance initiatives. The Hypersync integration, in particular, has enabled us to maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure that our controls are consistently monitored and enforced.

Overall, Hyperproof’s expertise and platform capabilities have accelerated our progress toward SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, making the audit process more manageable and less resource-intensive. We look forward to continuing this partnership as we advance our compliance maturity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

Learning Curve:

While Hyperproof is feature-rich, new users may find the interface and workflow somewhat overwhelming at first. It can take time to fully understand how to best leverage all the platform’s capabilities.

Customization Limitations:

Some users have noted that certain aspects of the platform, such as report templates or evidence workflows, offer limited customization. This can be a challenge for teams with unique or complex compliance processes.

Integration Gaps:

Although Hypersync covers many popular tools, there may be gaps in integrations with less common or highly specialized systems. This can require manual workarounds or additional effort to bridge those gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Superb Customer Service and Great product"
4/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

I think that easily the most important thing that I can talk about with the software is the ability to customize it to fit the needs of the organization. It's been easy from my perspective to implement. The support from our implementation consultant has been absolutely top notch. We're still working on the integration with a few of our systems to get it to play nice, but it's been a joy working with them to get set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

I always struggle with dislikes when it comes to companies that have provided such great service. The only thing I can think of is that it's really configurable. with that in mind, it'd be easy to take it outside of what it's really good at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Integration with Opportunities for Simplification""
3.5/5
What do you like best about Hyperproof?

I like Hyperproof's integrations of different programs in one. It also eliminates the efforts of collecting same evidence again and again. When fully implemented and understood by all stakeholders, Hyperproof's system & processes well & execute can greatly benefit the organization by ensuring compliance with various laws and standards through its robust automation capabilities.

I also like its risk register module for its ability to connect to controls in our existing program. So for example: if you have a risk around data classification then you can link it to the 27001 data classification control helping you map the risk back to the control Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyperproof?

Currently does not have ability to generate statement of applicability for the audits or the customers. This is odd, considering their main module is "programs" and statement of applicability is one of the important part of it

Additionally, Hyperproof's complexity can be overwhelming. While the value of implementing the programs is very high however its intricate structure can sometimes be challenging, cause confusion & lose motivation. It is harder for those who are not good at adapting to new technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
