It makes it easy to understand the status of those tasks and also to share ideas between teams and groups so that brilliant ideas that come up during meetings turn into actionable goals and tasks benefiting our customers and improving our product. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** The hyper context interface is designed for collaboration which is great, however, I have seen some times when this collaborative interface has led to slightly un-expected errors or confusion as teams have attempted to work off of hypercontext sheets that are not all in perfect sync. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** My team is constantly meeting to discuss problems and decide on next steps and solutions. Hypercontext allows us to record these decisions and to create task lists that ensure that we can take steps to address these issues. ### 2. When we first started using it, there were quite a few features that were either missing or needed to be thought through again, but the Hypercontext team is constantly introducing new functionality and updating previous functionality to be better. We've recently started using it for performance reviews and while it's not perfect yet, I'm sure it will be an awesome tool that we'll continue to use in the near future. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** With the many options for notes and follow-ups on meeting notes, navigating the interface takes some getting used to. There aren't any convenient keyboard shortcuts that I'm aware of. Goals and their pairing with the performance management components can be a little wonky as well. They don't show up in a convenient way when completing a performance review (during my self-assessment at least). One major thing that is missing is specific functionality for one-off meetings, everything (that I'm aware of) is tailored to recurring meetings, which is very useful, but I have more one-offs than recurring meetings. They are pretty good about addressing things like this though, so I don't anticipate these things being a problem for long. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a single place to host all of our company's meeting minutes is nice. It means that we can quickly check notes from a previous meeting, know where we can add items that require discussion during a meeting, and more. The centralization and sharing of the notes is great. As far as performance management, we switched from Paycor and it seems to be meeting our goal tracking and review needs for now (with the caveat that they are continuing to update and introduce new features). ### 3. I use it for all 1:1s. The integration with Google Calendar is nice. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** The mobile app is web-based and gets glitchy sometimes. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** I keep track of context and questions raised during 1:1s with Hypercontext. It helps to increase transparency with people reporting to me. ### 4. Additionally, it recommends helpful talking points depending on the type of meeting. You can schedule to-dos for future dates and to specific people. You can also attach agendas to continuous meetings and make new agendas for one-time meetings. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** At times Hypercontext can be super glitchy especially when accessing it from Google Calendar. More times than not it doesn't open to the correct agenda for that calendar event or won't open to any agenda at all and you'll have to open up a new tab. Additionally, sometimes there are glitches so you can't close out a meeting or task properly and it appears on the next agenda for a continuous meeting even though you thought you closed it out. These glitches aren't so bad to make the tool un-useful but without them, it would be a lot better. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of meeting agendas and to-dos across a fast-growing team of 15+. Personally, it helps me keep track of what's upcoming and the timeline for when things need to be completed. ### 6. I also like that they provide a button to not just copy the link to send to others, but to copy the link with a thumbnail. I think it's a little more attractive that way. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** I don't like that Soapbox can be unreliable for me. Sometimes my videos come through nicely, but a lot of times the audio cuts out a little or gets out of sync with the video. When I make a video, I need to watch it to make sure it comes through cleanly. HEADS UP: If I copy the video link and pull it up in my browser, it will come through cleanly no matter what, but won't necessarily come through cleanly for others. To make sure my review of the video is accurate, I pull it up in an incognito window and it seems to be more accurate to what others would see when they view my video. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've tried Hippo Video, Loom, and Soapbox, and I mostly use Loom or Soapbox. I don't pay for any of them, so while Loom is the most reliable, the longest I can record for is 5 minutes. Soapbox has streaks of reliability for me (sometimes it works really consitently, then other times it stops), but it doesn't have a time limit, so I use if for longer videos. Both are easy to use so I don't have preference based on that. ### 8. I also feel more productive with it during meetings. Ever since my company has started using it I have felt like our meetings are shorter without the fluff. It's cut out the unsurety of a meeting and after the small talk dies down and everyone looks at each other wondering how to proceed from there. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** If I was ever to switch companies I wouldn't be able to bring my questions with me which is unfortunate. I would also mention the UI. I find it difficult to find things that I'm looking for. It doesn't make a lot of sense to use for short meetings because it takes so long to find everything. **Recommendations to others considering Spinach AI:** Use it! I think it's a great thing to have at any workplace. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I'm solving with Soapbox is that it keeps our meetings productive. It saves us from wasting time and keeps us on task. I feel more productive and I wish other companies that I've worked at in the past had Soapbox. I remember before Soapbox meetings annoyed me a bit because the speaker would always ramble but with Soapbox, we are able to stay on target. ### 9. When we are meeting we can save time by knowing the aim of our meeting before hand. We can record good videos in it and can have meetings one on one and one to many. It structures the meeting in apt way and hence every team member is well awared that what his task is today. **What do you dislike about Spinach AI?** It is not a standing out application as slack handles the things a little better than this. It is too simple with integrations and should focus on design for integrated items. However we can not say it is not good as it offers very intuitive interface and is easy for beginner. **Recommendations to others considering Spinach AI:** You have to wait for the better stable version of the product as the product is not mature enough at the current stage, however it is worth a try if your requirements are low. **What problems is Spinach AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried using it for some of our team meetings and compared it with other tools. It was very easy to use and looks very great. Collaboration on agenda was made simple for the team members. It is still developing so we can not argue that it does not have potential to be great but still alot to improve. ### 10. After much discussion, switched to another product. **Recommendations to others considering Spinach AI:** for small companies, try the free version and really put it through its paces. Sometimes getting every body at the same place, at the same time which the same playbook was difficult.
