I like that I was able to figure out how to use the product without a tutorial. It replaced our old system (can't recall the name) and is far superior. It uploads documents quickly and accurately. When a sheet gets hung up in the scanner and I retrieve it sometimes the app won't recognize that I've resolved the issue and I have to restart it to be able to move forward. What I like best about ImageNow is the incredible amount of flexibility that it affords our organization. Due to the ease in which it allows us to develop customized workflows, I'm always confident that I can design and build a solution that meets the needs of practically any business challenge thrown at us. In addition, it's abundantly clear that Perceptive / Lexmark truly understands the needs of modern day business by the plethora of options and configurations that it makes available. There are many intricate pieces that work in conjunction to form the ImageNow product and there are a number of services and options that are somewhat vague in their functionality. What problems is Hyland Perceptive Content solving and how is that benefiting you? We utilize ImageNow to solve a number of business challenges across the enterprise. The most high profile use is for the capture and indexing of scanned medical records, faxed physician referrals, and imported data from legacy applications. This software is capable of handling content from a wide variety of sources - including Email, Document scans, and electronic forms. Setting up this software with other software I use was somewhat problematic and required the assistance of my IT department to be get it up and running correctly. Integration with existing software was extremely beneficial in being able to control documents in a secure manner, especially documents that required electronic signatures from multiple users. It was very easy to integrate our EPIC System with Lexmark - ImageNow. The software and support was very helpful during these rough times and the staff was always available to assist. We had numerous scanners pointing to various points along the way (HIM Scan folders/ PB Scan folders, card scans, etc.) and it was just very easy to configure and optimize.
