"Best secure easy to use backup system"

What do you like best about HYCU?

It is easy to learn and administer. It works as promised. I use it in a Nutanix environment, and it has been the best backup software. Ease of use is a no brainer anyone can learn it. It has all the features most for free where we have to pay for other vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

What do you like best about HYCU?

The simplistic design of the solution complimented by the comprehensive backup that is provided, give me and the key stakeholders complete peace of mind that our environment is fully protected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

What problems is HYCU solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease in which the solution can be setup enabled us to switch from an expensive Veeam-heavy backup configuration to HYCU in a very small amount of time. Whether the requirement is to provide verification that backups are ready for use, or to utilise an offsite, air gapped backup target, HYCU has the answers. Policies that fulfil almost every element of an audit to prove your backup solution is robust and fit for purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A refreshingly easy backup solution"

What do you like best about HYCU?

Hycu is easy to use, easy to maintain as a product. The interface is simple and with little knowledge you can set it up with help from a great partner. Their support also makes problem solving easy and their skilful knowledge makes problem disappear like snow for the sun. The number of connected platforms also grows with the time, making it a go to central SaaS backup solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

The logs showing the errors sometimes require a more in-depth knowledge to resolve, making it so sometimes one needs to contact Hycu for something that in hindsight was very simple if the error was a little clearer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HYCU?

HYCU is very straightforward to deploy and configure. I like that it supports both on-premises workloads and SaaS applications in one platform. The interface is simple to navigate, scheduling backups is quick, and restores are reliable. Customer support is also fast and helpful whenever I need assistance. What do you dislike about HYCU?

Reporting could be more detailed when handling many backups at once. Sometimes error messages are not very clear, so it takes extra time to troubleshoot. Costs can also increase depending on the amount of data or advanced features you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HYCU helps us centralize SaaS data protection in a single platform. It ensures our SaaS applications are backed up regularly and can be restored quickly when needed. "Good support and integrates nicely with Nutanix/AHV"

What do you like best about HYCU?

Integrates very nicely with Nutanix.

It only takes an hour to deploy and have backups working. It gives a clear snapshot of what's working and what's not.

Their support has always been great, and it requires little maintenance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

The update process can be a little clunky in Nutanix.

I wish it supported immutable backups and the ability to turn on a backup, take a screenshot, and include that in an email as part of a backup validation check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easiest to Use Backup Solution"

What do you like best about HYCU?

HYCU has been a great backup solution. Our old solution failed to keep up with the times and when it was time to upgrade HYCU provided us the perfect solution. I have been able to recover from lost data to many times to remember. The few times I have needed tech support they responded quickly and helped resolve the issues on the first call.
