HWKeeper is a free IT asset monitoring service for small and mid-sized companies, schools and IT teams. A small agent (a single ~10 MB file for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus an Android app) records every computer's hardware with the serial number of each component: CPU, every RAM module, every drive, GPU and monitors (via EDID). It also records installed software and connected USB devices. Every 15 minutes the agent compares the new snapshot with the previous one. When something changes, you get an alert by email, Telegram or webhook, with the old value, the new value and the exact time. Typical cases: a drive was pulled, a GPU or RAM module was swapped for a cheaper one, a remote access tool (AnyDesk, TeamViewer) was installed without you, a crypto miner appeared, an unknown USB drive was plugged in (on Windows and Linux it is blocked until you approve it), the BIOS changed overnight, a monitor was unplugged, or a laptop went silent for days. Regular inventory tools show what is there now. HWKeeper remembers what was there yesterday. It runs alongside your RMM or inventory tool, not instead of it. Free for up to 50 computers per account. Dashboard in 10 languages. - \*\*Key features:\*\* - Hardware inventory with per-component serial numbers (CPU, RAM modules, drives, GPU, monitors) - Change detection every 15 minutes: what was there, what is there now, when - Software inventory with alerts on new programs (remote access tools, miners, your own blocklist) - USB drive allowlist; unknown drives blocked on Windows and Linux until approved - BIOS version, Secure Boot, TPM and disk encryption status per device - Offline device detection (for example, a laptop silent for more than a day) - Network discovery of devices without an agent - Alert rules with quiet hours; email, Telegram, webhook; built-in tickets - Roles: viewer, manager, admin - Agents for Windows, macOS, Linux; Android app
