Switching from Corpay One to Hurdlr **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Brianna M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023 **What do you like best about Hurdlr?** Our decision to switch to Hurdlr from Corpay One was really based off of the employees' familiarity with Hurdlr from using it previously. We found that it didn't seem to be as glitchy or have as many processing issues as Corpay One for submitting mileage reimbursements. **What do you dislike about Hurdlr?** Hurdlr doesn't seem to have an option for just uploading a receipt for expense tracking. The functionality isn't fully there to only use hurdlr to track expenses and everything you need for a business. **What problems is Hurdlr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hurldr is helping us create and document reports of how many miles each employee is driving. Keeping all the mileage information in one place is helpful. ### 2. It's easy to jump in from my phone, and fairly intuitive for small business owners/self-employed folks for simple, everyday use. **What do you dislike about Hurdlr?** I find the reports to be improving, but I still find them to be tedious. I'd love to see a report that breaks down each business we own, broken down by expense type and divided by months or even weeks. It would be even MORE amazing if I could just export everything to an excel spreadsheet in this format, as I usually copy and paste everything from my expense reports into a spreadsheet for my accountant every year. I know this isn't everyone's way of doing taxes, but it's been rather clunky for me. I am also not a fan of auto-tracking, there has to be a more intuitive method. I have a lot of expenses and miles that are not business related, and unless you drive uber it feels tedious to have to review all the miles you've driven and choose which ones are business related, and then go choose what the purpose was. We turn all auto-tracking off because we find it's actually easier to manually input, which defeats the purpose. **What problems is Hurdlr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I feel that Hurdlr is really trying to solve the manual tracking problem by enabling auto tracking of expenses and miles. However as I stated above, I am finding auto-tracking to be more tedious than helpful. ### 3. The setup is pretty easy too. The receipts feature is another plus for me, it helps me stay on track and organized. The dashboard is suitable for tracking gives a great snapshot visually of progress. **What do you dislike about Hurdlr?** I'd like to be able to start invoicing from my phone as well as my computer. I would like it if they can introduce call method for customer support. **What problems is Hurdlr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hurdlr lets me separate my mileage and income from each. It helps me track my progress. It records all the expenses and keeps me updated on tax estimates. ### 4. It has nice data tracking benefits and syncs well with the phone's location capabilities. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate if you've used any other apps. **What do you dislike about Hurdlr?** Honestly, it's a super heavy app. I used it while driving for rideshare and rideshare drivers typically use more budget-friendly smartphones. As such, the processing speed isn't good enough to handle the rideshare app(s), the mileage tracking app, and location services all at the same time. **What problems is Hurdlr solving and how is that benefiting you?** The IRS lets a tax filer deduct applicable tax milage at the standard deduction rate. It's tough to manually track this, so Hurdlr helps do so via the phone's location services. ### 5.
