## Huntress Managed EDR Reviews
  ### 1. You dont have Huntress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David W. | vCIO/Service Business Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress gives us the ability to offer an amazing security offering to our SME clients while still being affordable. This allows us to add value to our clients while keeping them safe. Proactive Threat Hunting, Expert Analysis and Response, a user-Friendly Gui, and amazing community support and customer Support is what I like most about Huntress. Deploying Huntress through our RMM is a breeze, cutting down on implementation costs.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Not too much, as Huntress provides what we need. The initial cost could be a factor for some smaller MSPs, but they are very accommodating as their goal/mission is to bring security to as many MSPs as possible. Integration was limited but that is changing, as they recently announced some integrations into some major PSAs, including HaloPSA.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Provides a single pane of glass to manage our EDR and MDR, allowing us to focus on our customers. Deployment and implementation costs have been reduced, allowing us to increase our profit margins as an MSP.

  ### 2. Huntress does what it says it does and doesn't drag the system down

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is proactive both in their software systems and in the larger cyber community. Its quick to onboard and the reports it gives are trustworthy in our experience.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It can be a bit complicated to get things setup exactly as you want.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to sleep at night :)
Knowing that our clients systems are comprehensively protected and actively monitored by the system and their engineers gives me great faith in their product.

  ### 3. Huntress Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas M. | Service Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

That ability for Huntress to automatically resolve potential threats, and the roadmap to resolving an issue manually. Huntress is also very lightweight compared to other EDR solutions.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only thing would be it does not connect with our RMM Superops, but we made a script so no big deal there.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mitigating risks on endpoints, allows for greater automation and for us to have a smaller company but still service a large amount of customers.

**Official Response from Tayler Blanc:**

> Hi Nicholas! Thank you for taking the time to review Huntress! We're proud to be part of your solution. We'll take your suggestion back to our team.

  ### 4. We're an MSP and work with over 20 vendors, Huntress is my favorite!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob W. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We love the threat intelligence that Huntress team brings to the table and their remediation plans are so helpful when there is an incident. The quality of their blogs and the caliber of their team (I've met them at many conferences) instills a sense of security that experts have our backs. It's also great to have a resource to lean on when there is a security incident. Huntress catches things that our higher spend SOC/SIEM provider misses.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish Huntress offered a full SIEM solution with optional log retention so I can consolidate security vendors.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For EDR, onboarding a client and dropping huntress into a network and have it discover persistence that the previous provider missed, is so fun to watch (and scary). For MDR, we strongly believe that the user is now more of a risk than the endpoint and having someone watch cloud identities 24/7 for malicious activity is so comforting.

**Official Response from Tayler Blanc:**

> Thank you for your kind words! We're glad to hear that our threat intelligence, remediation plans, and team have provided you with a sense of security. We understand your desire for a full SIEM solution, and the good news is that we have a new SIEM product launching this summer. If you're interested in learning more about our SIEM product, please reach out to your account manager.

  ### 5. Huntress: Elevating Cybersecurity Standards for the 99%

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is not a "noisy" tool. When you receive an alert, you can be confident that it needs to be addressed.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We wish it were more integrated with our RMM or PSA to allow us access to information with fewer clicks. It's not a dislike; it's more of a feature request.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR solves the critical problem of protecting our devices from malicious actors by continuously monitoring and responding to potential threats. This proactive security measure provides us and our clients with peace of mind, ensuring their environments remain safe and secure. It also benefits us as we can focus on other core activities and trust Huntress will alert us to potential cybersecurity breaches.

  ### 6. As an MSP, it gives our clients a lot of peace of mind.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco O. | It Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

untress provides clear, actionable insights that allow my team to respond quickly without needing to be experts in incident response. The detailed forensic reports are also extremely valuable for understanding the nature of threats and improving overall security posture

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

lacks some customization options for alerts and notification

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 monitoring and expert analysis, we have drastically reduced our response time to incidents. This capability allows us to contain threats quickly

  ### 7. Second to none

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The team at address is extremely responsive and the detections are second to none. They've got things that others have missed for quite some time. It really takes a load off knowing that our clients are in good hands.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only downsides we've encountered is we haven't been able to scale as fast as the software.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint detection and response, detection of malware, footholds and other bad actors.

  ### 8. Great product, great service, and truly great people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zac P. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has really opened up visibility into areas we just didn't have with our other security products. We have peace of mind that someone is looking at everything 24/7, and the portal gives us all the information we need.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress may not be for real large accounts, but fits small to mid size perfectly.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get eyes on stuff we didn't have visibility into before through a very economical MDR. There are tons of options out there for MDR, but Huntress was really built with the MSP in mind, while keeping costs low enough to make it available to all clientele. May of our clients want the outcome of an MDR service, but cannot have a dedicated SOC or pay one of the "big boys" to do this for them. We find Huntress is a great fit in this space. It has plenty of power, but doesn't break the bank. We are able to provide it with all our clients on our security stack and that is not possible with many other SOC solutions out there in the market place.

  ### 9. Huntress is always on top of security for their clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

No matter what time of day it is, Huntress team is looking out for your security and the auto isolation/disabling mailboxes has saved our clients from possible spreading of the compromised device/mailbox

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is nothing I dislike about Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving the need for a 24/7 security team having eyes on all our agents. We do have somebody always 'on call' for if an alert comes through from Huntress, but we don't need anybody to stare at login logs or an AV portal to find anomalies or issues that could be malicious on our clients devices. They create the alert for us and then somebody can investigate based on their findings.

  ### 10. Very Well Balanced EDR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominic S. | IT Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The client management interface provided by Huntress is exceptional, ranking among the top EDR/MDR platforms I've experienced. What sets them apart is their proactive communication and accessibility through various channels, complemented by informative seminars to keep us informed. We're so impressed that we're considering utilizing Huntress's Curricula as a comprehensive Learning Management System for our clients' internal policies.

The implementation process was seamless, thanks to our existing business tools and straightforward guidance provided by Huntress. Another advantage is its lightweight nature, allowing for effortless integration atop our current infrastructure without disruption. This has made our transition smooth, and we've been using it daily with ease over the past month.

I had to get in touch with their support team recently for a question and they were nothing but pleasent to deal with. Can't really fault them on much!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Downsides so far is that the Curricula part of Huntress has a few customization options that i'd like to be able to customize out of box but even then the feedback process for Huntress is really straight forward too and seem to be working on user submitted ideas.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many, it's allowing a more lightweight solution using existing tooling (with OOB solutions like Microsoft Defender). Their SAT solution is best in class, honestly, and the customization options are still really good albeit maybe needing some more for advanced users/admins.

  ### 11. Director of Cybersecurity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim M. | Director of Cybersecurity, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Its proactive threat detection, easy-to-use dashboard, and excellent support make it highly reliable and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Customization of alert thresholds could improve.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses endpoint security gaps by detecting hidden threats, ensuring compliance, and reducing response times to potential breaches.

  ### 12. Easy setup, excellent SOC assistance, AMAZING Customer assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We transitioned 1700+ endpoints and all syslog sources to Huntress. We did this in just a few weeks of minimal effort thanks to their amazing support staff. It was unbelieveably easy to move everything over and get all of our questions answered. Remediating problems has never been easier.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

My only "negative" is some of the syslog limitations. That being said, as long as you know where the data iscoming from, it's very easy to follow documentation to find what you're looking for.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource use was through the roof with Sophos and we didn't have the visibility that we wanted.

  ### 13. Huntress provides a reputable EDR with extras

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Partner, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The persistant foothold detection is an effective sales tool. The managed A/V integration offsets the needs for additional software licensing and management. And it backed by support that responds very quickly. We look for

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I don't have any outstanding dislikes for Huntress. I would like to see more customization of some end-user interaction but thats not a reason to avoid Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24x7 monitoring of endpoints.

  ### 14. So far, so good doing a trial / POC on Huntress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Agent install, monitoring, centralized dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing I dislike about Huntress so far.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Additional layer of protection on top of defender.

  ### 15. Excellent Product and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean C. | Cloud Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The product is light weight and never causes issues. Integrations are seemless and easy to configure.

When assistance is required their support love chat is fast and really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

So far I have not found anything to dislike about it. We had one issue where huntress was causing performance issues for an application however support instructed us on whitelosting the application and it's been fine ever since

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating security issues with detection and isolation allowing us to quickly assist our customers before they even know it's happening

  ### 16. Huntress is Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John G. | Head of Managed Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As a smaller MSP, we just like knowing that Huntress is there. It is one of those "I sleep better at night" situations. It's like insurance.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It sometimes feels like you are paying for something that you don't need. I mean, you don't WANT it to find issues that you have to deal with -- but sometimes you'd like a reminder that you're paying for something. But, we consider it like insurance: you want it there, but hope you never need it.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because we are a small MSP, I just don't have time to look at everything all the time. Especially when it comes to brand new attack vectors. Huntress seems to be on top of things. I'll hear about some brand new potential breach being discovered and then, soon after, I'll get an alert from Huntress about a server that I would have never noticed had some old (and potentially vulnerable) version of a tool installed on it.

  ### 17. Huntress EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Response times are within 30 mins for an incident, and usaully at the lower end of that.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The UI is a bit of a pain sometimes. Organizations especially are very cluttered.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to just use AV, but that VERY quickly failed us at critical junctures. Particularly in regards to ransomware and other intrusions into our networks. Huntress has essentially eliminated the guesswork of "did something happen?" and "what do we do now that something did happen?"

  ### 18. Premium security service behind a single pane of glass

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR was extremely easy to use within our organization. Deployment is easy and automated through our RMM service, and devices were quick to synchronise. Within a fortnight, our service representative had reached out and were suprised at the low nubmer of incidents for a company of our size. Huntress has a well-designed "Command Center" which displays all recent and critical alerts, as well as detailed analysis on devices within the organization. Due to 24/7 monitoring of our endpoints from both machine learning and human oversight, we can obtain weekly reports from Huntress and feel secure that our organization is in safe hands.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

On occasion the system does report false positives, such as a file being accessed with certain trigger words in the title like "Password" or "Protected". The agents also report some Windows inconsistencies such as Firewalls being disabled when they're not, and built-in antivirus mechanics like Windows Defender being disabled when it's on via group policy.
However, these are the worst of the issues we've come across while using Huntress EDR.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is actively monitoring our endpoints, both at the end-user level as well as the production server and database level.

  ### 19. Huntress is the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis C. | IT Lead and Security Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The customer support and ease of communication.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Next to nothing. Cost, communication, customer support, and what they have to offer is next level.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress removes convoluted and unnecessary detections with the way they monitor and implement.

  ### 20. Amazing product and amazing support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The accuracy of every alert leads us to very rarely have false positives.
The support is always quick and helpful,
The suggested actions are always helpful and easy to action with auto remidiation.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Not much! The only thing of the top is some of the UI layout and ls a bit confusing sometimes with the location of certain settings and such.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the Primary EDR for our MSP

  ### 21. Huntress is the best solution I have found for the MSP.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | IT Consultant \ Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Setup is simple. Agents are deployed through NinjaRMM. The product found issues that many other solutions missed. The team at Huntress is great to work with.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have no issues with Huntress Managed EDR.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Isolated a host and removed a threat. Found password documents unprotected. Found a previous phishing attack email rules that we were able to delete.

  ### 22. Huntress has been a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald D. | Tier 2 Support Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has simplified our ability to respond to threats within our client base. We have been able to stop account compromises before they become an issue, and Huntress makes us look great! When we first transitioned to Huntress, we found several issues our old EDR product had missed, and we fixed them on the spot. I use Huntress daily as part of my typical workflow. I would tell anyone considering Huntress, what are you waiting for? Their customer support is very responsive, and my issues are resolved within the first contact with their team.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have not found any issues or things I don't like about Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us prevent and mitigate M365 account compromises, which has been the platform's best feature.

  ### 23. Huntress as a Security Stack tool for MSPs which simply "Lurks in the Darkness" to guard you.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fred H. | Founder and Chief Technical Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We've been using Huntress for a number of years now, if it weren't for their reporting, I would be wondering what am I paying for. If your clients aren't compromised, don't expect to hear from them. In the past year, they, apparently, wanted to convey to their client-base that they are on guard, so they ran a LOW LEVEL scan of all clients. The result: Many of our clients are using the wrong tool to protect their passwords, so we sent out letters to them advising them of better options. Now, we have more users getting onto password managers instead of using their Word, Excel or notepad to store confidential details.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Although Huntress gives us statistical feedback on its findings, it remains silent until called upon. You may wonder if it even does something till it's needed. This is a pro and a con - providing doubt, but with their reports, confirming activity. BTW, their reports are amongst the best of all my vendors.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is a product that fits in between many tools that we use without conflict (as long as you don't enable the isolation capability).

  ### 24. Huntress best solution that integrates with Defender

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armando M. | IT Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Offers great visibility about what is happening with the endpoints in real time, alerts are always accurate

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only thing that I would like they integrate is the Yubico keys for 2fa, but other than that it the best solution we have had.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerts in real time, giving us visibility about what is happening in our endpoints

  ### 25. Everyone needs this

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It's incredibly easy to setup and enroll an entitre organisation and you immediately start getting useful information, smartly presented. Everytime I've had a problem the support on the web chat have resolved my issues and been very friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I haven't found anything I dislike yet...

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have users everywhere getting conned into giving away their credentials.

Huntress detects this and alerts us before the credentials can be used

  ### 26. Amazing product for endpoint protection and pre-disaster intervention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The product is incredibly intuitive and easy to use while still leaving you with the feeling of being able to manage clients independently and how you decide to ultimately. The support team is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about their product and quick to help as soon as you need it. Besides all of that, it is incredibly useful in preventing potential disasters ESPECIALLY with its ransomware detection agents, and its incredibly speedy alert system that immediately isolates and prevents threats that start to appear. This offers you some choices on how to go about remediating the problem with their recommendations almost always being the way to go yet still offering you the choice on how to go about it. Deploying it is just as simple as managing it and again is incredibly intuitive when it comes to setup. Integration into any security environment is easy and does not interfere with other endpoint security options you may have. It is constantly on and monitoring threats makes remediating them extremely easy at the time of your choosing especially if they happen at awkward times out of office hours yet still must urgently be remidiated. It is used daily at every hour of the day and notifies you of any problem constantly even when away from the program with a call to your phone for critical events.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is nothing that I dislike about it.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic malware and any form of ransomware as well as any threat to a client or its parent organization.

  ### 27. Always great support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The support has always been really helpful. They have listened to feedback and have taken it onboard to implement suggestinos from the community.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The alerts we recieve can sometimes feel like there is only one option to resolve however in some cases we just need this to temporarily allow or dismiss an alert. Thankfully the support team have confirmed that there are new feautres coming out to rectify this so this shouldnt be a concern for much longer.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 28. Our business' security is ensured by this cyber threat management software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The highlight of Huntress Managed EDR is that it is very good at helping organizations notice advanced threats and employ effective methods of handling them. This capability plays a crucial role for enhancing the business’s cybersecurity stance, as well as for guaranteeing it can counter all possible threats. Threat management initiated by the company has contributed to improving the security situation, and the number of cyber threats tat affect the operation is lower.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

While Huntress Managed EDR is good in threat detection, there are relative weaknesses that need to be addressed. Its reporting function – adequate for its needs but can provide more flexibility and depth to cover all stakeholders’ requirements. This can at times limit the accuracy of insights given while at the same time not being fully in harmony with the business strategies. Additionally, even though it is easy to use, the implementation can be a daunting exercise that requires detailed configuration to interface with our systems.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR solves our cybersecurity issues by providing real time threat detection and action for such threats. It has also reduced the likelihood of getting infected by malware, and other complex attacks thereby improving the general security posture of the organization. As it reduces the time taken by security incidents, it also increases operational continuity and allows our IT resources to work more on its strategic objectives towards business development.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I honestly cannot think of a single thing I dislike about Huntress Managed EDR.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is continuously monitoring our client workstations for malicious activity, but also giving our team a "heads up" for files that may contain passwords which should be reviewed. Huntress solves our cybersecurity concerns for ourselves and for our clients.

  ### 31. Huntress saved our customer from a threat!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress saved our customer from a threat! It was the middle of the night, and the Huntress SOC notified us that a threat had been detected and that they had isolated that machine so it could not be spread to others on the network. Our customer was very happy and it made us look like a hero.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really can't think of anything I dislike about Huntress, but it can be resource intensive and complex.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing is it identifies and responds to threats immediately with continuous monitoring and is followed up with expert support in the Security Operations Center. That lets our business and our customers sleep at night and get the work done thats needed without havijng to worry about business disruption.

They don't have tamper portection meaning users can uninstall the program. I believe they are working on fixing this though

Huntress is helping us by monitoring footholds on devices for anything lingering from previous events

  ### 33. Huntress has been nothing short of amazing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We've been providing Huntress to our customers for over two years now. In the simplest of terms - it just works! Early on the team at Huntress provided us with an easy method to roll the agent out with our RMM and we had our entire client base covered in a few short days. It has saved our clients some major headache on a few separate occasions and it gives our team the peace of mind knowing there's not only services but real people keeping an eye on our endpoints. I recommend it to all my fellow MSP and tech colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We have yet to encounter a single issue with our Huntress deployment. It really has been simply and straight forward to implement and manage. Any minor issues we've had are quickly resolved with a call in to Huntress support.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Peace of mind around endpoint security. When someone asks our opinion on endpoint security, the first word out of our mouths is always "Huntress".

  ### 35. Great Product

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress acts as a part of our security package, adding a layer of defense against potential threats.

  ### 36. Great experience.

Ease of deployment, endpoint visibility, alerting, team responds to customer feature requests in a timely manner, and support is easy to reach and fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I dislike chat support being the primary method of communication, however every time I've used it I have reached an agent quickly and gotten my questions answered on the first try.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting customer endpoints with robust monitoring, reporting, and protection. It works great, which is a relief for us and our customers.

  ### 37. Huntress - EDR/MDR Made Easy

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have not found any items that I dislike yet.

Huntress Managed EDR helps us detect and remediate threats before they cause damage, improving our overall security posture.

  ### 38. Functionally sound EDR that makes sense and is great to use

  ### 39. We can sleep at night thanks to Huntress!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William F. | Director of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The incident reports are easy to read and straight to the point. We know that if we receive an escalation/incident report, that its 9 times out of 10 something that needs to be addressed immediately. We don't suffer from alert fatigue here! Support has always been top notch as well. Deployment and implementation through all major RMM's is documented well and updated periodically.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I don't have really any dislikes, its affordable, and does exactly what it says it will do.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is giving us extra visibility into the security of the machine. We're able to tell if Windows defender is behaving like it should, early detection and isolation for ransomware, easy to see external recon for open ports on the network, and reporting that can be delivered to clients to assist in showing value.

  ### 40. Great for Windows Environments, Needs More Non-Windows Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really enjoy Huntress' platform, especially the 24/7 managed security operations center and excellent remediation support. I recommend it to all my Windows-based clients. It is also wildly easy to deploy and use daily. The customer support is also top notch!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Though I understand the current focus, I wish they offered more support for non-Windows products.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress offers an affordable solution that gives small businesses access to cybersecurity support they might not otherwise be able to afford.

  ### 41. Easy to use and manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Prior to Huntress my team used a different managed antivirus that was complicated and time-consuming to learn and manage. Huntress is a night and day difference and we are so glad we made the switch. Their support team is easy to contact and helpful when needed. We were able to onboard all of our clients and get started with the platform (integrated with our RMM solution) very easily.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only thing I would change is more specific detail in the monthly reports which tend to be a high-level overview. In the event that an incident was reported during that month, I'd like to have more detail right there in the report.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking the legwork out of managed antivirus - Huntress takes care of the first steps of investigating and recommending remediations

  ### 42. Great product, great company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is a company that you actually want to work with. The EDR is a really straightfrorward product to use and manage. The support is incredible reactive and fantastic. The regular webinars still being run by the company founders is really cool. Deployment scripts are provided for major RMM tools super easy to deploy. Integrates with our PSA for tickets too.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The learning curve is a little steep, but all the resources are there.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily the Huntress EDR is letting me sleep at night with the knowledge that the products will detect and the SOC will react and escalate if required. No more wondering if our security solutions are hitting the mark.

  ### 43. Huntress is our most valued partner.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We are a small MSP in a small market that has partnered with Huntress for many years for Managed EDR, Persistence Monitoring, and Microsoft 365 MDR for ourselves and our customers.

Huntress has been essential to our ability to offer robust security protections to all of our customers, including small businesses and non-profits that are unable to budget for the high cost of many available security platforms. A large segment of our customer base would not be able to have the security protections necessary for addressing security risk without Huntress' commitment to offering services at a cost that works for us. Huntress knows that IT service providers in smaller markets are overlooked and forgotten by the wider enterprise-centric cybersecurity industry.

We find the Huntress platform to be extremely easy to implement and manage with low labor needs for deployment. Huntress had deployment scripts for our RMM available to expedite deployment. Integrations with our PSA were available and easy to configure for alert ticketing and customer billing sync. We were also able to easily and rapidly deploy Microsoft 365 MDR to all managed customer tenants using Huntress' capability to integrate with Microsoft CSP multi-tenant management. Huntress is one of our easiest platforms to deploy for existing and new customers.

We find the Huntress support team to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and effective. We are able to quickly reach an agent over chat and they consistently provide fast and accurate answers to our questions or issues. The detail provided in escalated incidents and the assisted remediations have been very useful to our team throughout our partnership. We have had very good experiences with Huntress' endpoint isolation for critical Managed EDR incidents and account isolation for critical Microsoft 365 MDR incidents. Our confidence in the Huntress platform is extremely high and derived from real-world experience.

We feel it's very important to highlight that we consider the security researchers at Huntress to be some of the best in the world. They are extremely dedicated to information sharing and rapid response during incidents that impact the entire MSP and cybersecurity industries. Huntress researchers are well known to often be the first or most visibile provider to address critical situations in public spaces, communicate with MSPs regardless of partnership in these spaces, and provide clear and actionable threat remediation information. We were impressed by Huntress' public response to critical on-premise Microsoft Exchange Server vulnerabilities over the last several years. Huntress researchers also led the charge to rapidly investigate and publicly address the recent critical vulnerability in ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect) in Feburary 2024. The response from Huntress regarding this severe situation was also extremely impressive and included new alerts for on-premise Control servers, assisted remediations, and additional visibility added to the platform to monitor connections to Control instances. We believe that Huntress' dedication and commitment to this public service is something that sets them apart as a security provider.

We are proud Huntress partners and will continue to partner with them to deliver the services our customers need.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We do not have any current issues or pain points with our usage of Huntress. The support team has always been able to address any concern we had appropriately. The core product has also evolved and improved over our time as partners to eliminate any previous issues we've experienced. We don't believe it would be helpful to product evaluators to list issues or concerns that are no longer relevant to our usage after further development.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are leveraging Huntress for ransomware detection and prevention, persistence detection and remediation, EDR for endpoints, and MDR for Microsoft 365 services. The core problem Huntress solves is providing peace of mind to our team and customers that we are effectively monitoring for threats. Microsoft 365 monitoring and intrusion detection was a labor intensive endeavor for our team until we onboarded our customer tenants into Microsoft 365 MDR monitoring.

**Official Response from Tayler Blanc:**

> Hi Mason! Thank you for taking the time to provide your experience with Huntress thoroughly. You hit the nail on the head about our team of researchers. We pride ourselves on staying knowledgeable so we can provide the best possible service to our customers. We aim to continue to make you and our partners proud to work with us!

The managed SOC has already prevented infections from getting any traction.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

So far there is nothing to dislike about huntress

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the 24 hour SOC means we are already dealing with an attack before we are even aware that it is happening.

  ### 45. Great product and has allowed me to focus on other areas of our it department.

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is proactive in handling events, isolating devices that are "infected.:

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

No tamper protection yet. Too easy for criminals to remove it.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Huntress to watch out computers and O365 and alert us to and remdiate issues.

  ### 47. A cyber security product that "starts with why".

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is simple. It gives me the information I need to respond to the "engine lights" on the dashboard as though I had a mechanic in my passenger seat. If/When something is critical it even takes evasive action before I get around to responding. I appreciate that it adds the benifits of management to existing (even free) antivirus solutions like MS Defender. The customer pays for what they dont already have (the management and the response, They appreciate not re-purchasing the signature file based scans features that they already have with MS Defender.
There TradeCraft Tuesdays go along way to helping market their product. They truely believe that "cybersecurity is for the rest of us". I like that they are trying to bring the inside baseball to us in the "cheap seats".

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Compared to my experince with Trend Micro and Sentinal One and way back when Symantec I can not think of anything i dont like about the Huntress product.

I do miss the DLP features of Trend Micro Worry Free business security. it was cool to Log and Pass when files featuring HIPAA keywords were moving from hard drive to email attachements or from hard drive to USB stick.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a MSP with a hometown PC repair retail store. most of our clients are paying for something that shipped with their computer. (McAfee or Norton) some are paying for bitdefender or something that a Computer guy once told them about 10 years ago.

by selling the Huntress license to the customer we can be their ride along mechanic so that if the engine lights come on we have an email and an excuse to call them and offer our services to fix the problem.

**Official Response from Tayler Blanc:**

> Hi Tim, thank you for taking the time to leave your review! It's great to hear that Huntress is helping you add value to your services as an MSP and retail store. We appreciate your feedback on the benefits of our product and how it enables you to address cybersecurity threats for your clients proactively. Thank you for choosing Huntress as your cybersecurity partner!

  ### 48. Huntress allows me to rest easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy N. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As a one man MSP I am always concerned about my ability to quickly respond to security incidents my clients may have. Having Huntress in my corner allows me to rest easy knowing that there is a team backing me up. I can confidently tell my customers that their networks are actively being protected and there is a team ready to respond 24/7.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There really isn't much to dislike. They continue to make improvements to the product. Recent UI changes have addressed some of the previous issues with navigation.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress has enabled me to provide robust security for my clients. Shortly after deployment I recieved an alert that a client downloaded some malware. I was able to address the issue before it was able to cause any damage.

They have also been on the fore front of various vendors CVE's providing notice when monitored clients are affected by these vulnerabilities.

  ### 49. A true partner for your business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

After many years with Huntress I find them to be one of the best partners we work with. It is easy to deploy, lightweight, and support (if you ever even need it) is fast and thorough. The alerts that are important are forwarded and noise level is very low to avoid alert fatigue. The portal is well thought out and easy to use, once daily or once a month, it is not a product I have had to "babysit"

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Intial deployment to a client can be a little noisy as it learns the client and systems, although it does not immeadiately start block or restricting on low impact alerts.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is taking data from the system to analysis the bigger picture, instead of single commands or processes. This allows it to detect eratic behavior and detect threats prior to full compromise. Office 365 MDR can early detect bruteforce password attacks and lockdown accounts that are copromised many times before anything is able to be done.

  ### 50. Easy to implement and review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** josue n. | IT administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Apart from having an easy to understand dashboard, each time something is caught I like that I get step by step instructions for remediation while I also have the option to approve the remediation and they take care of it for me. It cant get any easier. Installation through the RMM was easy and the integration automatically opens tickets when something requires my attention.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only thing I would change is they don't have any icon on the system tray that shows the client the system is running. I know it's installed and running but the client has to go to the task manager or control panel to see it in the programs list. It would be nice to show something on the taskbar that the client can see and maybe even display a green checkmark or red X or something to signal all good or something requires attention.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me secure my customer endpoints and adds value to my services.
