Workers take off their minds from the work and meetings for a while and appreciate others with a donut, which makes them stand out and work harder even more! It keeps me motivated! And the watercooler topic just throws your mind to think about places to go, things to do, which fulfills a short break time period like to the workers, sometimes funny replies makes the whole workspace giggle! The portal UI is a bit hard to understand, its not easy enough that one can easily search for things & land up on what they are searching for. So i think an easy UI will help ofcourse.
