Did not get what we paid for **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025 **What do you like best about HubSpot Data Hub?** Has some elements that could help with our data transformation needs. The logging feature allows for verification that the process is running as expected. **What do you dislike about HubSpot Data Hub?** We built a solution using some features from Operations Hub during the sales process. After we closed the deal, all the features were shut off. They said, those features are not included in the price of what you paid for, you'll need to pay more. I'm very frustrated by how this played out. We don't have extra budget for what I consider pretty basic features, like editing contact fields. Maybe it's lucky though... after building the automations I find they are more difficult to use or limited than other similar products. Edits to contact records happen async, and can take several seconds each (which doesn't work well for our application). Standard functions are very limited which means most solutions would need to built in javascript. Compare this to salesforce field editing... nobody would say salesforce is easy to use, but at least there are many options available to transform data values in real time. Clunky and slow user interface. Expensive to get customised. That's nice, but honestly, still not worth the price and bad customer service. **What do you dislike about HubSpot Data Hub?** We got scammed into unnecessary charges from the beginning. Way overpriced, terrible customer service, can find the same functions for far less elsewhere. **Recommendations to others considering HubSpot Data Hub:** We use Mindbody for our software. They have a marketing add-on for about $150/month that does almost everything Hubspot does, but way more affordable. Hubspot is very sales-minded, so if you call to get a quote, expect to be scammed into more than you need and trapped into those things for the entire year with no help at all. BUYER BEWARE. Unfortunately, we have had nothing but issues with PieSync and found that the support is not very good. They take 48 hours to respond and they don't offer phone support. PieSync keeps telling us that our issue has been resolved, yet the data is not syncing properly into HubSpot. #frustrated **What problems is HubSpot Data Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to sync data from SugarCRM into HubSpot. We have yet to realize any benefit from our subscription to PieSync. We purchased an annual subscription. I would recommend that anyone wanting to try PieSync, they pay monthly - then if it doesn't work they haven't lost a lot of money. ### 5. I like to use all sorts of different programmes with my contacts so not having to check them from one to another is ideal in theory. **What do you dislike about HubSpot Data Hub?** The practice. I think that the way the number of contacts is counted is a swindle and the pricing therefore sky high for what you get. **Recommendations to others considering HubSpot Data Hub:** Look elsewhere **What problems is HubSpot Data Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** None.
