HubSpot academy brought some in-depth insight into the world of copywriting (and many other topics, I'm already started on my next course). It's a highly in-depth course that goes from the basics to the specifics of content marketing. The User Interface and course materials give the user a really easy experience. It makes studying the course enjoyable, making the content easy to consume and learn. The instructional video's have different play speeds and downloadable transcripts of the video's for reading. It's brilliant because you can optimise the overall learning experience to suit your own needs. The instructors are brilliant at communicating the information and the layout of the topics makes it easy to jump from one sub-topic to another in the course materials, without getting lost. The 'Multiple Choice Questions' in the exam are very specific. However, if you fail, they provide a breakdown of the answers you got wrong. Online Marketing was confusing when it first began. I was trying to adapt old 'outbound' marketing principles to online problems and it wasn't working. The Inbound Methodolgy at the core of the HubSpot Academy has given me a structure and a frame through which I see online marketing through a new lense - one where I can empower people by simply giving them what they want. Keep your customer in mind when creating content, solve for the customer, provide value and they will be delighted to the point where they become brand Ambassadors for your business. It's genius!
