**What do you like best about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

It has enabled me to have data about sickness and leavers etc at my fingertips through the reporting with out having to hunt for it. It is a brilliant tool for having all employee info collated together in one place. It has helped us to move to digital and away from paper for things like RTW and Performance Reviews

**What do you dislike about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

I sometimes struggle to remember how to do things on the system and I think there could be more guides or a live chat to help with small queries. I think some of the settings are confusing and could be a little easier to use but the support team are usually very quick to respond and patient with all my questions

**What problems is Evalu-8 HR Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables all relevant staff to have access to real time info about their teams to enable them to manage more effectively. The reporting options reduces the amount of time I spent gathering info for Board meetings and the recruitment resource has transformed how we manage the admin side of the recruitment process.  Being a small organisation recruitment admin can be time consuming but the Recruitment ATS is brilliant and eases alot of the burden for me.

**What do you like best about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

I use Evalu-8 HR Software for all our HR records, logging in and out, and storing all company policies. It helps keep all our documents in one safe place and gives me reports to manage absence, leave, and ensure staff compliance with our policies and procedures. I love that it's a one-stop shop for all our HR needs, quick and easy to use, and the dashboard provides a quick overview of our business HR needs. The Evalu-8 team are so responsive, always on hand to help, and open to improvement ideas. Initial setup was very easy with Evalu-8's supportive team providing regular training as needed.

**What do you dislike about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

The evaluations I find the most difficult part, particularly the setting up. However, the new form section that has just been launched should help to solve this.

I use Evalu-8 HR Software to manage HR records, track attendance, policy compliance, and centralize documents for safety. It provides reports for managing absence and leave, making our HR processes quicker and easier.

The org chart is great and saves admin - much like the rest of the system. The team are always looking to make improvements and develop the software and offer training on new elements which is great.

Sometimes there are things we would like the system to do and it can’t, which is natural with any off the shelf product, it would just be good to understand why sometimes.

It solves so much time burdening by streamlining processes. It’s also a reliable source of data that’s easy to use so employees self serve and keep the data current because it’s not a chore for them.

It's not easy to find what you need and you need to invest a lot of time getting familiar with it. The videos are useful but only go so far to helping you.

Very useful for easily logging holiday/work from home days/sickness. Then also useful for easily seeing who is off / working from home etc.

Can sometimes be quite hard to find forms etc.
Also, we have recently struggled to implement our own customisable job report template. However with this new form builder, this should resolve this.

**What do you like best about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

Makes day-to-day people management easier, not more complicated. The system is clean, quick to navigate, and doesn’t bury you in unnecessary steps. I can get to the information I need, attendance, performance, documents, whatever, without clicking through a maze.

The dashboards give me a clear snapshot. When I do need support, their team is responsive and genuinely helpful rather than giving scripted answers. It feels like software built by people who actually understand HR work, not just tech people guessing.

**What do you dislike about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

The main thing I dislike is that you can’t view or retain previous work patterns for individuals. When you update someone’s working hours, the system overwrites their existing pattern instead of storing the old one. That causes issues with annual leave calculations because any leave already taken gets recalculated based on the new pattern, not the one that was actually in place at the time. It means the remaining entitlement isn’t an accurate reflection of reality.

Having the ability to create a new pattern while preserving the historical one would prevent this and give a much clearer audit trail.

Evalu-8 brings all HR tasks together in a single platform, so I no longer have to juggle spreadsheets, emails, and scattered documents. It simplifies daily responsibilities like managing attendance, tracking leave, and keeping records organized. The built-in reporting and dashboards eliminate the need for manual calculations or constant cross-checking, which has saved me a significant amount of administrative time and helped minimise errors.

I really like Evalu-8 HR Software's all-in-one approach because it combines HR, leave management, rota scheduling, recruitment, letter generation, document storage, and time tracking all within one system. This setup is incredibly useful for reducing the use of spreadsheets. It helps a lot with admin workload by reducing duplication of work and fragmenting tasks across different places. The system provides better visibility for managers, improves the employee experience, and allows for more accurate reporting.

The lack of AI used in the system. It would help with manually analyzing reports.

Being able to use it easily on my phone and computer. Also having the widgets on the main login page makes it really easy to navigate to most commonly used areas.

The evaluations have no been very user friendly in adapting to our work job reports. Having said this though, the new form builder feature will help this.

Helping solve monitoring where employees are whether it is holiday, work from home, on client site etc. That benefits us as saves manually checking with each employee.

Its extremely simple to use and the customer support is impeccable. The number of features they have is impressive and we know there is so much more that we can get out of it, so we are working with their support team to continuously up skill the team who frequently use it.

As we are based abroad and the software is built for the UK market, there are some elements that are not functionally applicable for a global brand, that being said the support team always find a way and support us to find alternatives

Keeping a live tracking of our employees as we continue to grow, the reminders help the organisation of our people team, specifically in a market that requires annual visa and ID renewals.

Evalu-8 has proven to be an excellent centralised system for our HR function. The permission levels enable us to make full use of its features while ensuring we comply with confidentiality requirements. It also empowers managers to take greater responsibility for their teams, which I find fantastic. We have been using Evalu-8 for over three years now, and they continue to update and add new features regularly.

It can be glitchy at times the but the support team are always quick to fix the issue.

**What problems is Evalu-8 HR Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform enables us to create surveys, which has been essential for our 360 evaluation process. After using the system for more than three years, we are now in a position to begin analysing the data. For example, we have been able to calculate our attrition rates.

The evaluation section is clunky and not very user-friendly, along with the training section. The evaluation builder could be more user-friendly since you can't even create a table in it.

The overall interface is brilliant and matches what we need. The staff are always quick to troubleshoot any issues or queries and that is especially valuable. We went from nothing to call-8 so far to say it’s been a massive improvement.

Nothing. There are some features I’d like to see but nothing essential.

Lack of rotas available to all, reducing admin time by giving us the ability to send contracts via evalu-8 instead of emails. The whole recruitment process previously was a nightmare, whereas now it’s great!

The recruitment portal and the ease of onboarding new recruits. 
App log in for time entry of employees and electronic holiday requests. 
Ability to log employee records and notes, that can be viewed by supervisors. 
Support and training from Evalu-8 is straight forward. 
Competitive price for software.

Occasional issues with the app for logging in but this may be due to Wi-Fi/mobile network issues.

**What do you like best about Evalu-8 HR Software?**

Evalu-8 is a really easy and user friendly HRIS to navigate. This was the first HRIS we implemented and Evalu-8 made the processes a breeze, they have everything in one place. One of my favourite things is how flexible both the system and the team are. You can add customisable forms which mean we no longer have to rely on excel sheets. The team at Evalu-8 are always willing to add or review suggestions on things we need for our business. We have receieved multiple training sessiosn with Evlau-8 and the customer support has always been really helpful.

The lack of payroll integration regaridng changing shift patterns.

**What problems is Evalu-8 HR Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transaprency in the business, we are able to track metrics that before would get lost in a spreadsheet. We feel closer to our team more than ever due to the visbailiyt it provides to us.

Evalu-8 is very simple, easy to navigate with very clear graphics.  It is so nice to have all of our HR information in one place. I am in it on a daily basis and managing our HR  has never been so easy.  The support team are brilliant giving a response in a very fast timeframe.

The evaluations are what i least enjoy using

HR documents are all in one place , for ease, accessibility and GDPR
Graphics and reports give us access to more detail than we ever had before

The fact that Evalu-8 combines features that you often have to have several software packages for saves time and money as everything to do with employee management is kept in one place. They don't charge you extra if you want to use certain features; everything is included in the price and they listen to your suggestions and add new features all the time.

There is nothing to dislike; the team loves it as it is so easy to use.

Before considering other software, have a demonstration of Evalu-8. It needs to be seen to be believed as it offers so much functionality.
