Generate complex tool patch... ### 2. Stucked in a problem? I liked it most because it makes my work easier. Interface is usual similar AutoDesk products page. Menus are user friendly. There are so many guides online as usual. **What do you dislike about HSM?** This program is kind of expensive but its still worthy. **Recommendations to others considering HSM:** As I mentioned before my previous review, AutoDesk product's guides can be found easily which means you will have so many supports online besides AutoDesk support. I like that part because I couldn't figure out so many things to do and I got some help from forums. We just practiced but I would like to use it in the future. **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** 2 Axis Milling ( Just tried for a quite long time ) ### 3. Quite same interface in every program they've built. Because it's user friendly and so easy to use. Smooth and high quality animations ( with above middle-high quality computers because you can't buy quality for free ). So many guides online. You probably find answer you're looking for. **What do you dislike about HSM?** They have so many different programs for everything. I mean HSM is very good for 5-axis machning but they have PowerMill, Fusion 360 and FeatureCAM too. They could mix and serve to us as one program. You could want money for all of it. If anyone needs only one of that. You could ask before buying items with checkbox. **Recommendations to others considering HSM:** It'll be worth every penny of yours. Don't hesitate to use it. AutoDesk is great company in this industry so you won't walk alone :) **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** I made some good money from my friend's homeworks and projects at university :) ### 4. If you're new you won't getting hard to find a solution and learn this program. If you're familiar with CAM programs before, you already know what to do and this program makes you more comfortable. I really like their UI. It makes everything easier. **What do you dislike about HSM?** It represents you very high quality animations and of course it has a cost :) You may need to upgrade your computer to next level ( not the best one ). But if you change the resulotion you'll be fine. **Recommendations to others considering HSM:** As much as I remember program gives you a very high quality services from the beginning. You can change speed of the simulation and colors makes you understand your project more. Don't hesitate to use it. Highly recommended. AutoDesk did a great job. **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Just looking what to use as an integrated CAM program. ### 5. Learning this program is so simple. So many tutorials online, you won't lose the guiding light. Animation is so fluent and smooth. If you have a little bit good computer, you'll be locked in front of the screen. **What do you dislike about HSM?** UI could be developed. We used to see AutoCAD's menu and looking but if it takes years people are boring. **Recommendations to others considering HSM:** If you're familiar with these programs HSM Inventor could be one of the best solution for your company. AutoDesk services are also great. They're helping a lot when you facing with a problem which you can't solve for searching answers online. You probably find so many users from this program and tutorials are great. **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Worked on few projects at university. ### 6. I can change start points in the chains, but I'm not able to tell the software what order I want the machine to cut the parts in. **Recommendations to others considering HSM:** Like my review heading states, we come to use HSM with a background in Mastercam. Mastercam is the industry standard, and for good reason. The ease of use, flexibility and years of experience cannot be dismissed as old school or unintelligent. So coming from that background, HSM has a lot of ground to cover. I think it's headed in the right direction. **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes it easy to allow for easy product changes so that there is a consistent flow from design to prototype to manufacturing. ### 7. I had not used any other CAM software, and it was very intuitive **What do you dislike about HSM?** It can be a little complicated and difficult to make custom tooling profiles in the software **What problems is HSM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Baja SAE, we have realized how nice it I'd to have it paired with Solid works and the ease of compatibility ### 9.
