What do you like best about HR Avatar?

We use HR Avatar for computer literacy skills, customer service, leadership, and emotional intelligence evaluations. I like the interview guide provided after the evaluation is scored. The evaluations can be monitored or non-monitored to prevent from potential candidates from having someone else take an assessment for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HR Avatar?

I wish it was a little more customizable, but that is a pie in the sky request. Otherwise, I have no dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HR Avatar?

The "whole person" approach in assessment. Assessments are easy to set up, and uncomplicated for the test-taker. Pricing model is great - pay for what you need only. What do you dislike about HR Avatar?

What do you like best about HR Avatar?

I love that HR Avatar intergrates with our ATS to make it easy to review scores. Also being able to review their pics gives us assurance on who is completing each assessment. Also the break down in each compentency assist us in making sure the candidates will be the right fit depending on the HM's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HR Avatar?

Early this year how the score was calculated changed, and I reached out because I noticed that candidate scores had dropped drastically. I was told that it was a "weighted score" versus an overall average and that how the scores are calculated are reevaluated and changed from time to time. This threw off how we review scores and caused us to have to manually calculate scores to get a true average. And recently I realized the scores went back to a normal calculation. I think when these changes are implemented it would be good to have a notification instead of just noticing and having to research it myself. It also caused additinal work for my team.

Another issue is does HR Avatar take into consideration changes in the workforce in regards to scoring Tenure. Post pandemic we see alot of candidates that have been in contract and temp assignments over the past few years and this drops their tenure score, and ultimately their overall average. Our weightings for different competencies are based on the US Government's Occupational Information Network (O*NET) database of various job titles, which updates about once a year. We apologize for not communicating this and causing more work for your team. Thank you for also pointing out the tenure concern. We have opened a research thread within the company to determine if the increased job changing during the pandemic needs to be compensated for in our scoring.
