**What do you like best about HR Acuity?**

I like HR Acuity's documentation abilities and its analytics to track our population. These features help us be more consistent in our best practices and allow us to analyze data to report and adjust based on that data.

**What do you dislike about HR Acuity?**

I feel like there could be more queues in manager workflows. It would be great to have the ability to add an employee outside of HR to an investigation. I think better filtering and default landing pages could really improve the platform. Also, more placeholders to choose from in manager would be helpful. There's also a huge problem in the manager portal, where there needs to be a way for HR to disposition orphaned cases to archive the information. This would help us close cases that are orphaned and prevent the loss of all case information. It's growing in number and making our portal a bit cluttered, so retaining useful data rather than deleting it would make it cleaner.

**What problems is HR Acuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use HR Acuity for case management, employee relations, leaves, and worker’s compensation. It solves problems like enhancing collaboration across the HR team, ensuring compliance, maintaining a consistent process, and providing effective documentation.

**What do you like best about HR Acuity?**

For me, ease of access is key. I like that the case management feature allows both the HR department and the employee to track questions, issues, and requests, so we’re all working from the same information. I also appreciate the excellent search functionality, along with pre-filed cases and predefined templates, which makes it easier to find what I need and keep things consistent.

**What do you dislike about HR Acuity?**

It’s very intuitive and, once it’s set up, it’s easy to use day to day. I also love how customizable it is, which has made hiring, payroll updates, and onboarding new employees much simpler and more streamlined.

**What problems is HR Acuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily, it gives us clear insight into what’s going on with our employees without needing to be directly involved in every situation. It covers both talent management and absence management. In addition, it helps us make sure our policies and processes are properly documented and consistently followed, which supports accountability and keeps things uniform across the organization.

**What do you like best about HR Acuity?**

The standout feature of HR Acuity is the ease of documenting cases. It transforms a chaotic process into a structured, step-by-step workflow. I love that we can customize fields to match our organization’s specific terminology, making the system feel like an extension of our internal culture rather than a rigid, third-party database.

The reporting building is equally impressive. We’ve moved away from manual Excel trackers to visual dashboards that help us identify trends in real-time. Whether it's tracking case volume or identifying hotspots within the organization, the data is easy to extract and present to leadership.

**What do you dislike about HR Acuity?**

While the system is adaptable, it is hard to fully customize it to meet every single one of our specific needs. There are certain rigid frameworks within the database that can’t be bypassed. Sometimes we have to "work within the system's logic" rather than the system working perfectly within ours. It’s great for standardizing processes, but if you have highly unique or non-traditional workflows, you might find some limitations in how far you can push the customization.

**What problems is HR Acuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing HR Acuity, we were tracking employee relations data across multiple modalities—spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected notes. This created a "knowledge silo" where there was no consistency in how cases were documented or handled, making it difficult to ensure we were being fair and compliant across the board. A Unified, Integrated SystemThe biggest benefit has been the seamless integration with our employee system (HRIS). This ensures that every case is tied to accurate, real-time employee data without manual entry. It has eliminated the risk of human error and saved our team hours of administrative cleanup. Now that our data is centralized, we have access to customizable dashboards that have completely changed how we report to leadership. We can identify "hotspots" or recurring trends at a single glance. Instead of just reacting to issues as they come, we are finally using our data proactively to identify which departments need extra support or training before a small issue becomes a larger liability.

It’s a tool designed specifically for HR, not IT (like many others), which makes setup simpler—as long as you have a solid understanding of the underlying data structures. I really like how easy Acuity is to work with day to day. The software also performs very well, and the frequent updates are a big plus, since they regularly add new features and include bug fixes when needed.

The support team has been consistent throughout this time, which has allowed us to establish a good relationship and maintain continuity in the provision of the service.

It simplifies everyday tasks like responding to and following up on cases, updating information, and keeping an eye on key metrics. It also transformed our shared work queue—which used to be just an Outlook inbox—into a true queue where we can assign ownership, set priorities, and track work much more efficiently.

I have been incredibly satisfied with the setup process of HR Acuity. The implementation was absolutely wonderful, made seamless and smooth by the support of our sales manager and customer support manager, who provided us with multiple demos as the demand for user accounts increased. Their helpfulness extended beyond the implementation with additional support available as needed. HR Acuity has been a game-changer for us with its benchmarking and data analytics capabilities, which we never had access to before. Having such analytics at our fingertips has significantly transformed our operational effectiveness. I find all aspects of HR Acuity very useful, especially the data and analytics that allow us to demonstrate the types of cases within our organization, track cases efficiently, and break down information by region and facilities. The system has enhanced our ability to manage case durations and types effectively. Furthermore, the ease of access to comprehensive information helps in mitigating risks by standardizing policies and practices within employee relations, ensuring uniform case management across the board. On top of that, the ease of use and intuitive nature of HR Acuity makes it an essential tool in our organizational toolkit.

I would probably change the aspect to have a feature for newer investigators to type in queries and prompt questions regarding a case, and have the system provide feedback on best practices and possibly next steps in the case.

Ease of use for everyday HR users.  The ability to document workplace issues in one place, accessible from any computer is wonderful.  The ability to collaborate with various team members and their ability to see instant updates to cases, the ability to send notifications and messages.  The ability to see trends by geographic area or business area while working the case! The ability to customize tags and categories to our company needs is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about HR Acuity?**

The tools analytical power is robust and a lot in tool offerings meet my needs.  However, at times customized reports can be challenging if you do not have experience with other reporting tools

**Recommendations to others considering HR Acuity:**

HR Acuity is a best in breed HR product to handle everyday employee relations issues as well as more challenging employee investigations.  Gone are the days of tracking issues by Excel.  The tool is robust and provided guardrail to ensure consistency across the business.

**What do you like best about HR Acuity?**

The main thing that I love about HR Acuity is that it is magical when it comes to convening all our employee relations records. All written accompaniments to interview, as well as evidence to an investigation, reside in a single safe place. This renders it very easy to draw up a full history in the case of compliance or audits. We are also fond of the way we standardized our investigation process. This will be consistent to provide equality and openness in each of the cases we deal with. Also the trend reporting assists us to anticipate systemic problems early enough before they boil up.

**What do you dislike about HR Acuity?**

After being initially set up and configured, it sometimes may seem a little intimidating especially owing to the degree of detail. Set up of all the templates and workflows will consume a lot of time before they are just as you would like them. The reporting is quite strong and more custom analytics can be difficult to assemble without special help at times. The user interface whilst functional could certainly use a more contemporary make-over. These are small details yet these are the areas that can have any improvement.

**What problems is HR Acuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to HR Acuity handling employee relations cases was a hodgepodge of spreadsheets and emails and other ad hoc documents. Monitoring of the progress that would maintain regularity and locating historical information to be used during audits became a massive headache. What HR acuity has enabled us to do now is to fully centralize all of our investigations. Each step is recorded each communication is tracked making an audit trail which cannot be broken. This has almost eliminated our compliance risk, and greatly increased the efficiencies in our investigations. It becomes a sure answer to questions and all information is easily accessible as well as accurate.

**What do you like best about HR Acuity?**

Created by Employee Relations experts so very little customization needed.    When customization is needed, its easy with most things we can do on our own in seconds.   Love the investigation module that provides the best practices and templates to ensure a complete and consistent process followed.      HR Acuity also listens to customer feedback - have seen a few of our recommendations implemented that benefit all customers.     Have done several case management system implementations and this by far was the easiest.   3 months and could have been sooner if we didn't have some internal things to resolve. as a leader, also love how easy it is for me to stay on top of what the team is working on - types of cases, volume and status.    The team and I are in HR Acuity every day, all day.

Very US focused - would love more of a global focus which know they are working on.

I like the reminder function. Being able to have reminders set for myself about certain cases versus having to actually click into each case to see what I need to do next is helpful and saves me time. It's also very helpful in assisting the teams I assist in terms of organization of our conversations/notes. The ability to prioritize my cases and the ease of use is amazing. It's very easy to use for a beginner.

I dislike how the drop down for searching an employee by SSN disappears if you click on another screen, considering I am using multiple screens. I wish the list of employees would stay populated until I click the drop down to revert back up or until I exit out of the list.

HR Acuity doesn't necessarily solve a problem for me, but it does help me organize the problems I am investigating. The system integrates easily with our HRIS system, UKG.  It is confidential to report employee complaints, harrasment or retaliation issues, and it is very easy to use.  We can run reports and searches to look for trends and common patterns across our organization in order to identify traning needs or other actions that need to be addressed.

It's important to take the time to set up reason codes and other settings to ensure you have the complexity you need (or don't need) when you implement this system.  It has the ability to be as complex or not, so take the time at the onset.

**What problems is HR Acuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had no system of record before HR Acuity.  We now have a system to log and report issues so we can record these and provide reporting to external legal counsel as needed.  We can also look at trends and patterns across the organization.

It is very user friendly and easy to teach others. There are a lot of things that are customizable for your Company and the overall platform is truly made for ER Teams. There are so many features that are so benefical and easy to use. This is a platform that we are using every day all day long.

Sometimes HR Acuity makes changes and we don't always recieve a training/explanation to those changes before they happen, so that can cause confusion. With that said, that is such a minor issue and easily resolved. The Customer Service Team has been so great and fast to respond.

It is user-friendly, easily configured (and doesn't need to be overly customized to meet your needs), full of features that will make your ER processes effective and efficient, and designed and supported by a team of former ER professionals. And...the reporting capabilities are superior - the platform provides several canned reports, you can easily create your own, and you can schedule reports to be pushed to key stakeholders. Finally, HR Acuity takes time to listen to client needs and creatively solves challenges.

It's helpful that the database has detailed classification options for each case such as subcategories and multiple ways of listing information and documents. In addition, the search function is comprehensive and allows for detailed searches of cases.

When trying to create and organize the Insight Analytics and create reports, I did come across an issue with the lack of options to narrow down the cases included in the report. I was trying to make a report on just the subcategory "Bias," but I did not see an option to filter the cases included in the report beyond the main Issue Categories. Our team has also had issues with accessing cases, and the way the website is set up as of now is not entirely beginner friendly. I learned how to use HRA when I started this job in November 2023, and there are still aspects of it that I find confusing.

My office uses HR Acuity to document and track cases that we work on in the Title IX office, so we utilize alot of the case and report functions such as adding documents, organizing investigative materials, keeping track of community member's past cases, and the advanced search function for specific searches.

Using this instrument made acuity quite simple.  The pre-delivdered best practices were presented to enable very simple start configuration or setup. Using the instrument is simple and straightforward. The platform was designed for ER tracking rather than modified to fit.

Would like more contemporary integration choices, sometimes known as APIs. Though there is always space for improvement, reporting is strong.
