The HP 3PAR Management Console is HP 3PAR StoreServ legacy management console that brings simplicity, usability, and visibility to storage management by allowing you to administer your HP 3PAR Storage Systems, including remote systems used for replication.

**What do you like best about HPE 3PAR?**

The software itself works well although it has a fairly convoluted interface. It allows you to do all management and configuration tasks from a single interface and can interface with multiple storage systems (arrays).

**What do you dislike about HPE 3PAR?**

3PAR Management Console now been superseded by 3PAR StoreServ Management Console, which is a web-based administration tool. It brings a slew of new functionality and API's as well has having the look and feel of HP OneView. Definitely a lot easier to work with too, so use it if you haven't installed the legacy console yet.

**Recommendations to others considering HPE 3PAR:**

consider installing 3PAR StoreServ Management Console instead. This is the recommended approach by HPE.

**What problems is HPE 3PAR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This legacy tool or the new web-based tool is pretty much compulsory for managing a 3PAR array. Whilst you can configure the array through the CLI itself, it's not recommended.
