Honestly, the biggest thing Hoxhunt has going for it is that it doesn't feel like training. Most companies do that one annual security course where you sit through a slideshow for 45 minutes, click "I understand," and forget everything by lunch. Hoxhunt just quietly sends you the occasional fake phishing email and waits to see what you do. That's it. Also, because the emails look realistic and legitimate, they can sometimes create a sense of threat and make me worry about real, original emails. Mini-game experience for sure. As a gamer myself if find it fun and egaging while it is also informative. I find Hoxhunt's strategy very effective, I not only learn about cyber security but I have fun doing it and I'm always excited to find a Hoxhunt email. The levelling up and achievemets are simple, fun and keep me wanting to gain move.
