Howly
Howly is a workflow visualization and audit tool for HubSpot that helps RevOps teams, agencies, consultants, and HubSpot administrators see how their workflows connect and understand the impact of a change before they make it. It connects to a HubSpot portal through OAuth 2.0 on a read-only basis and loads every workflow onto a single interactive map, drawing the relationships between them through direct enrollments, shared lists, and property-based triggers. Because Howly cannot write to or edit a portal, it is used to analyze and document automation rather than build it. Clicking any workflow opens a detail panel with its triggers, actions, conditions, and its upstream and downstream connections. The Health Checker scores a portal from 0 to 100 and flags stale, orphaned, and empty workflows, possible duplicates, and broken enrollments, while Benchmarks compare the portal against similar-sized HubSpot instances across ten metrics. The Impact Analyzer shows every workflow that references a given property, so a user can see what a rename or deletion would affect before changing it in HubSpot. AI Insights uses Claude to review a portal inside the app and return prioritized issues, gaps, and opportunities, and through a Model Context Protocol server, MCP-compatible assistants such as Claude can query a portal's health and workflow issues from a chat client without opening Howly. Maps and audit results export to PDF, PNG, and Lucidchart, and reports can be white-labeled with a company logo and colors. Howly supports HubSpot Professional and Enterprise accounts, including Sandbox portals, and connects to multiple portals under one account, which suits teams managing several client instances. It is used for impact analysis, portal audits and cleanups, client discovery, handoffs, and ongoing governance.
